I'm not looking to upgrade my monitor (Max Res: 1920x1080) just yet, but that might come in future.
To be honest, at that res I don't think there is that much to be gained with an upgrade now, your gear is still pretty good. I'd suggest looking at overclocking the CPU (if you haven't already) and waiting until the next lot of CPU's from AMD and Intel have landed along with the new GPU's coming out later this year / early next year.
Looks good ... reminds me of the barrel riding sections in Donkey Kong Country Wii.

Just picked up mine then from EB and they wouldn't give me the pre-order bonuses because I price matched K-mart/JB. I think it must have been happening all day because they had a two huge stacks of the character DLC cards on the counter. It's a pre-order bonus not a pay full price bonus. I guess they will end up just throwing them out or giving them away to random people months down the track. What a waste.

It says 29/09/2011 at the end of the trailer.
I think I'm up to the second last location in the game and Steam says I've played for about 45 hours so far.

Up until now I've taken out everyone with non-lethal takedowns, hacked everything I could, read every email and ebook, searched for all the alternative pathways, etc and have been having a blast.

But I must admit I'm a bit over it now and just want to finish the game. The only augments left that I haven't already purchased are all pretty useless and I'm only quickly skimming through the emails now.

There isn't a new game+ mode is there? It would be awesome to replay the game with Jensen maxed out.

Looks like a little extra juice did the trick! Not a single crash since bumping the volts up to 1.038 ... been playing for about 4 hours and it's been perfect. It's strange that no other games have had any problems other than this one.

Haha yeah being silly in this game is almost as fun as playing it properly. I go on a rampage just about everytime I play it!

Yeah it is happening in a particular area when I try to explore. If I go the way I'm meant to it seems fine.
I'm getting lots of crashes on PC (steam) since the patch. I'm running a GTX570 ... anyone else having problems?

I take the filters off every couple of months and give them a few shakes in a sink of water and leave them to dry and they come up like new.

I think your PSU will be fine, but PC Case gear should have the extensions if you need them.

Have you also considered the following modular PSU's for around the same price?

These bits don't go together. The CPU suits 1155 motherboards (the one you selected is a 1366 board). If you want to use that CPU, have a look at Z68 boards instead.

Also the RAM is a triple channel kit, which is OK if you want to go with a 1366 board, but you only need a Dual Channel kit if going with socket 1155.

Yeah I agree. I just finished it too (on PC though) and I really enjoyed it. The crude humour had me laughing all the way through and it was refreshing to play a shooter that was just fun to play and didn't take itself too seriously. Oh and I absolutely loved the intro montage and music ... ahh the memories icon_cool.gif

Just be prepared to wait if buying from them.

I purchased 3000 points from Fishpond for $34 on 24/05/11 and I'm still waiting for them to show up. I keep getting emails saying the shipment has been delayed.

When did you time that from? I have a Vertex 2 60GB SSD (the older/faster ones) and it takes about 40 seconds to boot - that's from pressing the power button to the time you have a usable desktop.

EDIT: Just watched a few youtube videos of boot times and timed it again the way they do - hit F8 after the BIOS does it's thing and it brings up the Select Boot Device list. Then start the timer when you select the SSD from the list. It took 15 seconds to get to the desktop and another 2 seconds for the mouse cursor to change from the spinning thinking symbol to a normal arrow.
LA Noire 1200/1200 for me too.

Only had to use a guide for the last 10 or so cars and for the gold film reels (I actually hadn't found any of them during my normal playthough). Looking forward to the DLC now!

You should be able to continue from the last auto save if you go to Resume instead of starting the case again in the cases menu. It stores auto saves in there from all your case replays.
