They used to price-match at their own discretion.
So if it was reasonable they'd do it, but if they were losing TOO much money, they'd say no. Always double-checked with the manager before doing it. So it wasn't actaully a policy of theirs... but occasionally you'd get someone on a good day who'd look after ya!!

I was actually cast as an extra in this like, two years ago. I'll be watching eagerly to see if I can be spotted (it was a ballroom dance sequence and I was suited up, but there was HEAPS of people in it, so I probably won't be visible.) Hooray!
