Re: One Questions (1 year ago)
what model is it matey
agreed, though I think mastiffs are cunts I would have bit her too. it's more her poor interview technique (forgot everyone's names?) and accent that annoys me though

Punish da deed not da breed!!!!
and I thought my salute smiley was cool:

i'm looking forward to having a read of the review tonight. will probably determine whether I get this game or not for my PS3
Great review.
I don't rate the storyline of the game at all and have lost track due to lack of interest but the gameplay is quite enjoyable.
Agree that players should really be encouraged to get through XIII first but it's their loss. As for the paradigm packs well it's really what you make of it - you can put as little or as much effort as you want into the combos, though it's not totally necessary for the game

The CGI or 'cut' scenes are whatever they call them these days are way to much for me. Maybe it's meant to be a signature of the FF series or something but it doesn't do it for me - same with the soundtrack

Overall the 8 is a fair score. I can actually see justification for pushing it to an 8.5 but at the same time if I stretch it the other way 7.5 would work too.. Fans of the XIII or just the series in general will snap it up and largely enjoy it either way
Re: Skill Testers (1 year ago)
thanks for the great info Mr. Clawcatcher.
I agree this should be stickied.

two weekends ago i lost $2 on the chocolate machine in the pool table area at the waterworks botany (the one you grab chocolates and it drops them on the ledge and there's an oscillating pusher to drop them into the hole)
had no luck and had to go to the IGA to get some

I believe the best tactic the use is what i have nicknamed the green lobster tactic, also known as the sniper in other, less sophisticated circles. you wait and watch the machines while nursing for example a beer, or pretending to watch tv. wait until some geezer(s) spends at least 6 credits building up the ledge with minimal result. now is your time to $trike since it's been "warmed up" for you. you have to trust your instincts on this one

you make a valid point though in your analysis: is it cheaper just buying the prize in a shop?
but it's not just a simple money in -> hopefully price out equation
you need to also take into account the opportunity costs:
would you rather spend $11 and 2 hours of your life watching "the artist" at event ? or spend $11 dropin' the claws ?? you may even come away with a kickass prize in the later case ..
don't get shortsighted mate, it's not always just about the prizes
it's about the entertainment, it's the challenge..
it's the THRILL OF THE HUNT, baby!!!

for every weak claw there's a strong claw.. don't stop the search for the ultimate, Mr. Clawcatcher
sounds like his a top bloke and 500$ is a big budget. PS3 icon_y1.gif
Re: One Questions (1 year ago)
is this for comprehensive -- why would you bother when excess+a years insurance will get you a new bubble

bingle = aami = just car = shannons = GIO = as bad as each other, all owned by suncorp

didn't find any major difference in price when getting third party property

payasyoudrive.com.au is worth a look in if you drive a ridiculously small amount each year

Very interesting article. Reminds me of that story about the illegal immigrant who played Resident Evil: Outbreak. He had just sold his power drill because it had led to a strain in his lower back, where a virus was previously thought to be the cause. When asked about how his recovery is going, he expressed his concern that 5 players leaving Tottenham at the close of the transfer window with only Saha coming in on loan from Everton may lead to an end of season collapse due to lack of injury cover and FA cup commitments. He also has done on the record as stating his dislike for the "Twilight" series of books and movies, labeling the ability to change from human to animal as "unrealistic" and "almost as if someone had made it up". so enjoy the colours at the florist
because soon you'll be "a part" of the forest
and i'll have my own eyes back within a week!

why don't you just press the "stop loading this page" button in between the loading of the content and the redirect to the black page?
or does this only work with "university level" slowness of internet?

True that guvna. The runner was no threat at all and reads like he bailed the handbag after the alley so go anything past "reasonable" to detain him (break his leg while pulling him off the roof) and ur ass is grass

this is coming from someone who hasn't had more than 25$ in their wallet for the past 18 months though.. what sort of expensive ipad ipod iphone shit do people carry in their handbags these days

you could get ridiculous resolution and contrast with an organic LED TV without a backlight, and have as thin and bendy as you like, but surely the lifetime will suck unless the tv comes in red colour only?
organic LED TV is basically an inverse organic-solar cell and they have tremendous problems with stability in the field and degradation over time
you'd want to see how the output of these early models degrades before shelling out early on for one icon_think.gif
Re: Funny Links (1 year ago)
I thought that's just an SA law but don't worry..
Us NSWelshmen don't need this to be legislated because we're so considerate we slow down to 15 and have a nice long look at what's going on before driving away icon_dance.gif

There's no definition of what makes a vegetable. Really, it's just something from a plant you put in a salad, a root, a leaf, seed or fruit. So it's a fruit AND a vegetable.
