the only thing that interests me in any of the collectors edition is the hoodie pre order bonus at jb hifi, and i can't find a picture of it :S

I think bungie could do that because they didn't port halo 3 to pc, so the people who would normally have been doing halo 2 vista would've been doing ODST, and the people who did halo 3 are doing reach.

But yeah imo if they devoted all of their manpower to either reach or ODST, either game could have been much better icon_razz.gif

Sony should have realised by now that the "One size fits all" approach doesn't work when the only size you have on offer is XXS. If the only Xbox 360 you could buy was an elite, how many less xbox's would have been sold?

Sure they could use a price cut but that'll only hurt profits, what they really need is to get off their asses, ditch the "in ten years everything will be good" attitude and get the ps3 slim out without forcing the blu ray player onto the consumer.

If they can do this or release a featureless ps3 for around 500 we'll see the sales coming in icon_biggrin.gif

Forcing the blu-ray player onto the consumers was a good move in winning the format war, but it really hurt them in console sales. They've won the war now, so its probably time to give peeps an option on whether or not they want the blu-ray player with their ps3.


Edit: lol i wasn't thinking but yeah instead of removing the blu-ray player take some other stuff out that ain't necessary (if there is any)

I never get all achievements/trophies in games, I normally trade them before I can. But I am getting close in Halo 3, most of the achievements I have left are ones that I will just get by playing online, I will be happy once I have all of them icon_biggrin.gif. im sitting on 1550 for Halo, fuking gayass perfection achievement, i got two fourteen kill sprees without a death on Bungie vs the World, and both times i ran outta ammo and got owned when i ventured out for some lovely BR ammo icon_sad.gif

Not to mention the couple of perfections i got on non-mythic maps icon_evil.gif

I don't understand how that post can not be in full caps, i just spent an hour to finish episode 14 lvl 4. And let me tell you, i went ****ing mental, i was jumping and screaming so much that all 3 of my smoke alarms went off. I have no idea how that happened, but damn did it feel good.

Don't forget if u want recon and wanna play in the bungie vs the world playlist you will need the mythic maps as most if not all of the maps featuring in the playlist are community made maps on sandbox. so yeah sucks if u dont have the maps icon_sad.gif

Yeah, its pretty much the same as meta game ( when you turn scoring on) except they've added medals. There's multiplayer medals like overkill and killing spree in single player. awesome

yeah i have the same problem with gta4, i think it happened to me when i had recovered my account at a friends house

when i recovered it back my gta4 save didnt work even though its staring at me from my hd. i'll give the cache clearing a try to see if it works fro me
^i donno bout 4 player split screen firefight. i think on some interview they mentioned something like "As always firefight will have splitscreen ... 2 players will be able to play on the same console"

I hope i heard wrong but, coz in matchmaking 4 people can play on the same console so it would be stupid.
unless in campaign its 2 ppl per console, then it might make sense.

Fully agree with you there, pricing sucks for peeps who have got all the map packs.

And there is a collectors edition, Microsoft says it is available in regions other than USA, but hasnt specified.

i've been on the fence for a while on these as well as the snowblind maps, but i think the deal may have pushed me over icon_biggrin.gif
