for the game itself it wouldnt make much difference if its aussie made but say if it becomes a hit and it was made in aus then we might finally get some recognition in the game industry and not have to play premium and get the shafted by every major game company

if i remember correctly this one was an art comp, was sposed to draw something scary something you wouldnt want to be "alone in the dark" with. If it was a text based comp i wouldnt want to think how many answers would be "ya mum"

There's Buy 2 get 1 free blu ray at sanity and hmv atm and at hmv you get 10% of what you spend as a gift voucher if you have a pulse card
I also recommend going to hmv because the ones i bought were cheaper there (DIEHARRDD) even though they are owned by the same company

after you finish the stage theres a pollen count at the stats screen youll realise how hard this trophy is when 100k is only a couple of thousand pollen

got the game today after playing through the first level here are my impressions
-the graphics arent like OMG amazing but by no means are they horrible i mean very beginning was pretty poor but its nothing a game like turok didnt get away with
-the gameplay is pretty simple theres not much change from your average shooter and so far nectar doesnt seem to do much at all but from what i hear theres more to it like premonitions of grenades exploding which sounds pretty interesting
-sometime through the dialogue youll get the "why did he just say that" thought running through your head, but it also portrays the mateship between the characters very well

pretty much IN MY OPINION i think that the guy who reviewed it at IGN was stupid and probably ugly, although yes i hoped for alot in this game being a major fan of timesplitters and goldeneye (although not even knowing until recently that some of these guys made goldeneye) was pretty disappointed

SO SIMPLY PUT
i personally think that its not horrible, its not the great game we all hoped it to be but if you played through games like turok, airbourne and timeshift then give this a go

actually game does try to price match games but the rules are pretty much
- the other place must have it in stock
- competitor must be in the area
- price cant be below the cost

i think thats about it
and for the credit notes you can use them anywhere given its a couple of days later so its verified

in sydney in market city theres a couple of places in the city but they sell them at ridiculous prices (300 dollars for FF IX anyone?) Id probably just recommend playasia, ebay or amazon as they seem reliable and you can find bargains time to time

I'm not too sure about this one either it looks promising but i really dont want to get into buying packs of cards which i'll neglect later on and the cheating aspect with online games just seems really easy
but yeah its still a good step towards new ideas with the playstation eye

are you in sydney? (presuming you are cause of the HSC)
pretty much if you fail everything but have been handing in assessments and havent been kicked out of the course you get a certificate im not sure about a diploma but thats more something you get at TAFE
i have no idea about the USA lol so i cant tell you what happens with your certs

there isnt a release date for them yet in australia which is stupid cause that is pretty much the only reason im getting one

but i also hear you can do it through the ps3 wirelessly if anyones tried it can you please tell me what the quality is like in terms of lag and such.

and if that wireless thing does exist can you do it with the old psp? (i have one now so if you could may as well not bother with the slim)

yeahhh but you can't look at it like that cause obviously if sony are making stacks of the same game development costs will be lower and you were counting the games at retail which they already makes money off it and the retailer also.

But yeah its not a doubt that the starter pack is of better value (i bought the exact things on launch and paid stacks more)

And on the BC issues i just hope they dont stop trying to make the 60 GB ps3s compatible with more games.

best shot will probably be buying a preowned one at GAME theyre like 129 and you can pay 40 for an extra year warranty so thats 2 years with the store it aint too bad if your not planning on picking up a 360 in a while
