If I keep having opponents like M@TT_K and Passa, I'm heading for an early grave. My poor nerves can't handle it! Hahaha.

Note to self; When in the lead, Forgo any stat-building moves and attack while you still have the advantage.

Sorry I had to dash after we finished. 'Twas a shame eh? First battle was gettin' reeeeaaally interesting. I suppose I shouldn't underestimate my quasi-glass cannon though. I did NOT think he'd be able to pull that off. Your defensive-type was impressive indeed, I never know how to handle them properly. And I knew we were gonna have at least one of the same Pokemon, it was the name thing. Hahaha.

Overall, a great battle. The chance of having a rematch later on is a nice prospect. Lookin' forward to seein' how the rest of this tourney pans out. The whole side-battles-for-top-4-position thing makes it much more interesting.

That is... unusual.

Won't knock it 'til I've tried it, but wouldn't that kind make the game even slower-paced outside of Tartarus? I know a few people thought the school/social side of things was slow enough in P3/4...

I'm do like the addition of the MC artwork to the game screen though. The MC's in P3/4 didn't get enough love in that department. I suppose they needed to put SOMETHING there if we don't see the player character anymore.

If they do P4P now, does that mean we'll be able to see the art for P4MC in the beauty contest? It's the one of the things the P4 artbook lacked.

And they've swapped to the P4 text boxes and stuff? Weird.

So many diferences to the rest of the series.

This blew me outta the water. I loooove this series SO HARD, and I did not see this (as in; choice of female lead, She!Orpheus, Dude!Elizabeth etc. The Portable version was bound to happen eventually.) coming at all. Nice Atlus, very nice.

But where's my Persona 2 IS/EP Portable? I miss "Let's Positive Thinking!" and Ulala's swearing. ):

Probably Jibbs. I think I had to drop out in the first round.

I dunno if some of the choices I've made for my team are any good. I was a little reluctant to change their move sets to work better in a smaller team, but hey! Other than that, I'm good to go.

Hmm. Gotta wonder about the PokeWalker. I mean, I doubt they'd not distribute something like that with each region's copy of the game. But it wouldn't be the first time we've been shafted on the bonus content front in this industry~

Not that I see myself using it much, if at all, anyway. :S

Got myself a USB Wi-Fi connector to go with my new DSi + Platinum, so that fixed up all the trouble I was havin' connecting during the last tourney I entered on here... however long ago that was. xD

Aside from the general "Woo, G/S remake!", my only thought on the whole thing is this; how the heck is Wailord gonna cram into 2/3 tile spaces.

Hrrmm. Well, easiest way to solve this would be to test out someone's Garchomp in a doubles and suss out the results. Right? I've got a "quasi-decent" Weavile, Frosslass and Starmie, so I'm up for seeing how they fare, I guess? :/

I'm not really fussed either way though. I mean, sure, I'll probably be horrible mauled if somebody does use one, but I can deal with that. A challenge is always more fun, after all.

Ugh. Garchomp and Tyranitar. That'd be a horrible pair. Could probably take all three of those out in quick succession. And anything else I'd have in my party. >_>

(And lol at the Darkrai thing. I work at Target, so I know what I'll probably be doing on my break come the 30th... which... is a little sad? A lot sad even? XD)

So, I'm up for another Tourney, 'specially if it's a doubles. I'm a little busy with work/uni applications/making a folio, BUT I'M SURE I'LL FIND TIME.

I'm just not sure how reliable my wi-fi is at the moment though. It should, in theory be fine, but I'll have to test it out first.

Nah, replacement. I've tried a disk repair thing once, and it failed miserably too. I think they're more meant for general wear and tear, not horrible disfiguring scars. XD

Anyone else think Home-Run Contest is awesome co-op? Trapping the sandbag with a flurry of punches from Shiek/Kirby, and having the other character slamming it repetitively with the Home-Run bat seems to work well.

SO. I just tripped over my GCN controller cables, pulling the Wii from the table it sits on, which ripped the Brawl disk out. Scratched it up real nice. Awesome. ):

Everything works except the title screen, so I just needa skip the opening movie. Thankfully, EB have that wonderful scratch protection thing. When you're as clumsy as I am, It's worth the extra $5. >_>

Nah, I was playing other online matches fine, it was just the two 4-player ones I attempted. I only played the first one all the way through, kinda realised it wasn't gonna get any better eventually.

I tried online yesterday. Lag. Horrible, horrible laaaaaaaag. 2 min matches had to be lasting for 10 at the most.
Hopefully this'll clear up eventually. Ah well, Mario Kart's online still rocks.

Also: Lucas, Lucario, Sonic and Toon Link rock my proverbial socks.

Muhahah. I picked it up yesterday with some friends, and ended up playing on/off 'till about 5AM. What sad, sad people we are. Unlocked all the stages and characters already, thanks to SSE. XD

Took us a little while to settle into Brawl, we're too used to Melee. I still can't handle Link or Peach properly, but hey, Stage Builder more than makes up for that.

My FC is 0989-3166-4993. Though I don't think I'm on top of Brawl completely, I'll still play a round if anyone wants too.

^Peveus: -Dissidia- seems to be headed in a very Brawl-y direction. (See: Ever-changing release dates. XD) That'll probably end up with loads of FMVs too.

So my DS seems to freeze whenever I use wi-fi now. Awesome. I'm gonna try battling Macka today, but if it doesn't work, it looks like I'll have to drop out. D:

EDIT: Lulz~ Forgot my sister has a DS too. I just hope it's the DS and not the cartridge that's acting up.

Wooo. Intense battle against Dare. I was pretty damn impressed with how well my Togekiss did there. I lost in the end though. Good comeback on Dare's behalf.
