I just did this and further down it said "This route has trolls" lol
Had my second round interview for a job I really want. Was told I'd be informed of their decision next week some time.

Got a call back two hours later hiring me.

Now employed.

The news that this is a remake is two months old and was already debunked. Square clarified that this game is a reMASTER, not a reMAKE. That is to say, same shill as every other "Classics HD" game.

And I mean seriously, of all people, you thought Square Enix would do this? Square Enix business plan is to spam you with as much cheap crap with a popular brand name as they can, not waste time and money developing something anyone wants.
It is........ cheaper than that at EB Games. However, it also sucks.

Stumbled upon this recent photo of Julia Gillard discussing her latest policy. I think this image explains a lot of things about her leadership to date. I heard this photo was the inspiration for the troll face.

Ah grim-one, you beat me to the obvious explanation.
Re: Funny Links (1 year ago)
I never thought I'd enjoy a video about sport. That was the best six minutes of my day! Also your IT nerd statement in your signature made me slap my face and then laugh softly to myself.
Every year august-october evil magpies surround my block (and I mean surround - theres at least one swooper on mine and every surrounding street), making it impossible to get to the bus stop without being swooped once if not up to five times by different magpies. Last year was a NIGHTMARE. This year I used my umbrella, and only got swooped the odd time i didnt use it. I looked demented, but I survived.

They've stopped now. One of them was cheerily singing at me this morning, as though we were never enemies.

I really really want to know what they're looking at.
According to that thread that was linked (yes I read it all), the people have to walk through a pitch dark room, which is why a lot of them are in human chains, and then unexpectedly they are flashed by the headlights of a car at the other side of the room, with horns and everything blazing.
If Twilight Princess is anything to go by, you will in fact be able to play Skyward Sword much like those screenshots. For whatever bizarre reason Nintendo's bloom filter on that game is responisble for the blurry, pixelly graphics. It can be disabled on Dolphin, and you lose bloom, but gain INCREDIBLE definition.

That filter ruined that game on Wii for me, its just nasty to look at.

Portal 2 (PC) - $14.99 on Steam.

Bought solely for co-op lolz.

Too many individual things to take / find pics of so I just thought I'd use that instead. icon_biggrin.gif

TSUBASA RESERVoir CHRONICLE - Volumes 15 through 28 (Manga) - $144 from BookDepository

Covers Tokyo Revelations through to the the series conclusion. I'm getting this so to continue on from the anime series which ends after Tokyo Revelations. There is one more OVA but it is an abomination you can't hope to understand without having read the manga anyway...

Yay!
Updated to Windows Phone 7.5 Mango

Do like.
For anyone who doesn't know, you can FORCE your Windows Phone 7 to update to mango right now. It's on the update server but not publically available in Australia yet.

To force it (and it is the official update for your specific device not some dodgy one), click update in Zune > Phone > Settings, and within 1 second of clicking the word Update, unplug your ethernet cord / disable your wifi / in some other way kill your computer's internet. It will continue to search for the update using 3G, and instead of saying up to date, it will update your device to mango. When it says Update Available, plug your net back in and away you go.

Mango is AWESOMEZ.
I love FMP and TSR but I have never even watched more than two episodes of Fumoffu, it just didn't appeal to me at all, and I didn't seem to miss anything story-integral for skipping it icon_razz.gif
Re: Funny Links (1 year ago)
Yes add me to the list of people who loved Windows 2000 at home, but yes it was for businesses.

IGeNerator: "What Silent Hill could learn from Mega Man."

Sounds like something they'd do icon_razz.gif

Why do people even write articles like that. That article lowered my intelligence. icon_neutral.gif

Tsubasa RESERVoir Chronicle: Complete Memories (Blu-ray) - $94, JB HiFi

Love this series. This set includes both seasons (52 eps), the movie and the two subsequent OVA series. So yes, like the name says, it really is complete icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif

The series is remastered from SD, because it was never made in HD, so its not as sharp as the OVAs which were made in HD, but it looks very good, much better than DVD. icon_smile.gif
Wow I actually liked Riki... in japanese. Havent heard his english.

Have to say though, considering I understand a fair bit of Japanese - Riki's subtitles do not remotely reflect what he is saying. He speaks regular Japanese, but is subtitled saying weird things and being unable to pronounce peoples names? O.o

Dundun instead of Dunban? lol. Then again it also annoys me no end whenever anyone says Carna, because the subtitles renamed her Sharla. Why!?

Other odd translation changes:

Shulk on bridge when he first gets Monado in Japanese: "...That's why..... That's why....... It's my turn!"

In english: "Dunban........ Dunban........ It's my turn now!"

A short while later in Japanese, with straight face: "...."
In english: "Hahaha!"
Yeah no. No way. Not a chance. This game is 2013/14.
Of course after Bionis Leg every map looks generic and bland icon_razz.gif
crescent fresh seems to enjoy it icon_razz.gif
I finished this last night. Pretty good overall though I am not a fan of "You're at the door, but to open it GO BACK AND COLLECT A BUNCH OF RANDOM ITEMS!" which the game makes you do countless times in the main story. "You're at an elevator, but go find the power switch to make it work!" *wants to slap Monolithsoft*

Anyway, I hope you're all keen on quests, because if you don't do them good luck beating the game, you need to be at LEAST level 80 to win icon_razz.gif
Re: Post your Pix (1 year ago)
The one on the left is Big Ted or something right? I actually own a Big Ted toy that looks EXACTLY like that picture. It's staring at me right now o_o
Re: Funny Links (1 year ago)
You're right about the JB controller, sorry. I didn't look up close, I just saw the red classic controller shape on the pre-order sign and made an assumption. Yeah that controller does look dodge. icon_neutral.gif

Caprica - The Complete Series (DVD) - $45, JB HiFi. Wasn't planning to buy this because it's not very good. As if the universe agreed with me, when I was at the bus stop to come home with the DVD in my hand, a bird dropped a sloppy poop on the box. Luckily it had the plastic wrap on still. I only got this because it's cheap >_>
i actually really liked this series, but obviously boats, and floating.

what made this version not only Limited, but also Collectors and Ultimate?
I'm not sure if anything does at all. It's just a standard collection lol. Probably trying to persuade people like me to be more likely to fork money for it. The box is nice though, its a flip book type design, and theres a plastic cover over it which half the pictures of the cover are on, so if you take it off the cover just says CAPRICA with a picture of the cylon.

I really love Battlestar Galactica mind you - but I thought this series was quite poorly written in comparison, and considering how amazing BSGs special effects were, these ones are ... not icon_razz.gif
Yes, we are getting it, I saw it in JB but it says preorder bonus so you may not be able to get it off the shelf when it comes out

Wow, that looks like amazing. Is the dolphin emulation stable or dodge?
From what I've heard the Dolphin emulator runs this game in particular basically perfectly.

While I could set it up on Dolphin and connect it to my TV, I'm too far in to start over now and can't be bothered. It still looks good on the actual Wii.

I hope it doesn't thrash the Wii too much. The graphics card in my Wii might be overheating, because it does get some graphics artifacts in some games.
When I played Goldeneye my Wii gave me artifacts in the top left part of the screen, this large cluster of white dots would appear whenever there was smoke or anything on screen (which was most of the time consider guns emit smoke). I am 20+ hours into Xenoblade and have seen no artifacts of any kind. icon_smile.gif

Fruits Basket: The Complete Collection (Manga) - I have wanted to read this for years because I loved the anime but it only covered a small part of the story. The manga was always too much to buy as separate volumes though i always flicked through it when I was in a book store... but I randomly stumbled upon the collection in store over $100 less than buying separately, and that was too good to pass up icon_biggrin.gif

The Green Mile (Blu-ray) - $16, JB HiFi. I loved this movie but only ever saw it once for some reason. Problem solved!

Earth2 - The Complete Series (DVD) - $27, JB HiFi. This was a great series, and so cheap, had to have. Apparently the US and British DVDs have the episodes in a totally illogical order, so I'll have to check if the AU one is before I watch it.

Caprica - The Complete Series (DVD) - $45, JB HiFi. Wasn't planning to buy this because it's not very good.
