McDonalds have actually got "free" access points here in Australia. I think it was liek 40 around NSW, QLD and Victoria. You have to buy something then you can use it. It's supposed to be for people with laptops and pda's to be able to surf the net and check their email while at Macca's.
I need some time alone.

Now all you have to do is learn Japanese.
I think I just wet my pants a little...
Re: Yargh! (9 years ago)
It's more of a glove.
Re: Yargh! (9 years ago)
Sup. I'm new as well but didn't feel like making a hello topic.
There are too many to think of, but I'll give a few samples.

Finally beating Robotnik in Sonic the Hedgehog for the Master System. That was a big deal for me back then.

The ending of Secret of Mana. Poor old Sprite icon_cry.gif

Mastering the dragon punch command in Street Fighter 2.

****FF7 Spoilers****

Aeris dying. Goddam that was hard to wrap my mind around. I was so damn sure it couldn't be happening.

Some nice psx games in that list cheese, out of curiosity have you played the original Lunar games?
I've only played the PSX ones. Wouldn't mind having a crack at the Sega CD and/or Saturn versions though. Lunar Legend on the gameboy advance doesn't look to bad either.
Shining Force 1+2 make this an wasy choice.
Re: Edge #133 scores (9 years ago)
Edge can die for all I care. Word of mouth and personal play time with/of said game is the best way too find out.
Here we go:

It's missing a few. I haven't updated in a while.
1. Ninja Scroll
2. Vampire Hunter D
3. Spirited Away
4. Akira
5. Castle of Cagliostro
Ninja Scroll is my favourite movie ever (please see avatar). I loved the whole vibe that movie had.

Ghost in the Shell on the other hand I found to be just above average. It seemed to be too intellectual. Don't get me wrong I liked it, but I just found it a little slow. The fact that I haven't seen it for about 4 years may contribute to this though.
Hellsing is pretty rad for the one episode I've seen.

I plan on picking up the box set next week.
Re: Cowboy Bebop (9 years ago)
My favourite anime serious for sure. Mushroom Samba, Pierrot Le Fou and Toys in the Attic are my favourite epsiodes.
Larry : Leisure Suit Larry

Good times.
Re: Angry at games? (9 years ago)
I've smashed a cartridge into fine fragments before. It was Art Alive though and I did have an awesome Toe Jam and Earl painting cranking before it died. Justifiable homicide.
ADSL in the house.... my house that is.
Here we go:

Viewtiful Joe
Metal Gear Solid: TTS
FF X-2
FF: Crystal Chronicles
Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance 2
Not too many rpg fans here by the looks of it.

My fave's:

FF 7, 10 and Tactics (not the GBA one)
Star Ocean 2
Baldurs Gate 2
Shining Force 2
Secret of Mana
Lunar: SSSC
Breath of Fire 2
