Can someone tell me how the hot spot thing works? Are they available in rural areas, and what happens to those people that miss out on grabbing the costumes.
All of the current features on the PlayStation Network will continue to operate free of charge until we decide otherwise.
I don't think Dark Forces will ever be in that bag for us.
It's certainly a lot better than a tin box and a broken bobble head.

Both the preorder DLC and the one in the game case are now working for me. Had to wait for it to be the 12th in the UK rather than having the psn store updated for the latter DLC to work.
Is that the EB pre-order code? If it is, where did you find yours because all I received from EB was the code in the game case.

Can confirm also that codes are now bloody working.

Oh and why cut the theme song. Was it offensive to westerners in some way?
Anyone manage to get their code working after the store update?

Other Japanese developers should take a leaf from Sega's book when localizing games; leave the Japanese voices in, only add English subtitles (rather than remove the Japanese voices only to be replaced with god awful English drivel).
And cut absolutely everything that western gamers just wouldn't understand.

Does anyone know if the code that comes on the piece of paper inside the game box that grants access to the survival battles, also gives you the extra costumes or are they a separate code that EB gives you?

The paper the code the game comes with only mentions the extra battle modes and Haruka's Quest.

I just got the game but I'm having trouble with the dlc code where it's just telling me that it's either invalid or expired.

Do I need to wait for the PSN store to be updated before the code works like with the Heavy Rain soundtrack?

Cheers
Finally someone with my exact same problem. I've been posting everywhere about it all morning with no response from anyone, even on the official Playstation forums.
They're just frag fest games. I don't really like them myself, but I can see why others do. It's fun to just shoot shit loads of random enemies every now and then.
Apparently PC users aren't going to be seeing this content in the near future. You can find the source on Kotaku.
I wonder if the PC version will ever see this DLC.

Initial opinion: not as impressive as CoD4 was.

It's a shame that they included an option to skip the airport mission. That's probably the only mission in the game that's hit the mark so far. CoD4 was full of moments that made you go "whoa" and the airport has been the only mission so far that's done that for me.
The thing in space was pretty cool, especially the after effects. Haven't really seen past that point though.

You call the game rubbish yet you cannot beat Nancy....*rolls eyes* I'll post a video soon, which character?
Yeah I know I shouldn't have gone off like that, I'm just angry with Namco and their stupid design decisions. Anyway I was using Lili, but I've only ever managed to shave off half it's health.

Bring on the hate. Care to explain WHY it's rubbish? Please, don't factor Scenario Campaign into it, talk about the GAMEPLAY. It's funny you call it rubbish, since Tekken 6 has been #1 at the arcades for a very long time now...
Ok I don't really hate it, I'm just really angry at Namco. After waiting two years for this, I put it in the PS3 and was shocked to see the main game mode was a crappy beat 'em up and the story mode was four battles long. I do really like the actual fighting part of the game. It's nice and smooth and I liked that it seems to have slowed down just a little bit, which was a problem for me in previous Tekken games.

I'm sure a lot of the bugs and other little problems will be fixed over time, but they just can't fix what they don't think is broken. Mainly for me being the incredibly short story mode.

I don't really care much for playing fighters online so the lag wasn't an issue for me, but the fact you can only rank up if you play online was a little annoying.

Oh and can someone tell me how the hell I beat that giant mech in the bonus stage in Arcade. It kicks my arse each and every time.

Sounds like they didn't really CARE at all.
That's better. The whole game is just a giant disappointment and it makes me sad every time I think about it. I really want to play it, but it's such a piece of rubbish I can't be bothered.

They did, it was Death By Degrees icon_razz.gif Didn't fare too well though even though I loved it.
But even Death by Degrees was more polished than that trash they've turned into the main game mode of Tekken 6. Death by Degrees, even though I can't stand Nina, was a pretty decent game.
Why, for the love of all gods and aliens, did they have to make that shit Scenario Campaign mode the main focus of the game. The whole mode is just a joke. And now thanks to that being the main focus of the game, the actual story mode has been ripped to shreds. You choose a character that you've unlocked through lame-o mode, and then proceed to fight three people and then the final boss. Four fights in total, that's pathetic and no interactions with other characters, it's just fight, fight, fight, fight, ending clip.

I really can't see why people defend this game the way they do, especially the way they defend Scenario Campaign. Yeah the core gameplay is still there and it's fun, but it's buried under a mountain of pointless garbage. I really wanted to like the game, and part of me still does, but I just feel it's been cheapened by turning it into a rubbish beat 'em up rather than keeping it a solid fighting game.

If Namco really wanted to make a beat 'em up in the Tekken universe why didn't they just make a separate, stand-alone arcade game.

Oh and ranking up is another issue that pissed me off. I don't want to fight online with laggy, disconnecting when they're about to lose losers just to rank up.

You don't HAVE to beat Arena to unlock movies endings.I have unlocked endings by beating people in Team Battle, losing against people in TB, simply starting a SC level or even beating one.
That's a bit random isn't it?

The original isn't, but I think Clear Sky is. You can only get the original from 3FL or internode.
Risen looks good, but isn't it banned for us, therefore unavailable to purchase through Steam?
I've been reading that the Unreal price cut will be up to the 27th of September. Is that true?
I'm still waiting for Left 4 Dead to be half price again. Maybe around Christmas time.

yet there is so many "optional side-quest missions" in the original game that we don't complete, that we really shouldn't need - nay, want, to buy the little critters!
The game doesn't really have that many optional side-quests, and if you haven't completed them all by now then you don't need the content. I'm pissed off that after two years we've been given jack shit in the way of promised content. Bethesda may stuff it up constantly, but at least they bloody release the content they promise.

Bethesda are seriously pissing me off. First they butcher their very own franchise with Oblivion (and to a lesser extent, Morrowind) then they destroy the Fallout universe with a game that for some strange reason got incredible amounts of great reviews, despite in my eyes, being a complete mess, and an insult to carry the Fallout name.

Well, I suppose this can't turn out any worse then Fallout 3. At least there will be a few ex Black Isles staff to keep Bethesda in check.

I am now going to make love to my mint condition copy of Daggerfall.
I'm with this guy. Oblivion was an overrated pile of cockroach infested junk, and Fallout 3 is no better. Bethesda are even making you pay to fix their fuck up with the ending. icon_y1.gif

If only Obsidian weren't using that dated, rubbish engine Bethesda seem to love.
I use this program from Collectorz. Some games it can't find in it's database, but Mobygames usually has you covered there.
I'm definitely NOT seeing this, as an avid Star Trek fan I think it's just wrong. I don't like the director, and I really don't like any of the cast apart from Leonard Nimoy and Simon Pegg, but I really can't see him playing Scotty.

How can anyone really want to see this, it has Eric Bana as the villain. icon_cry.gif
I have a question. Why did you peel it off?
