A couple more.
Shakira- Whenever, Wherever
Lucky that my breasts
Are small and humble
So you don’t confuse
Them with mountains
The Killers- Somebody Told Me
Well somebody told me
You had a boyfriend
Who looked like a girlfriend
That I had in February of last year
It’s not confidential
I’ve got potential

From U2's 'All Because of You':
I like the sound of my own voice
I didn't give anyone else a choice
An intellectual tortoise
Racing with your bullet train
I'm sure the tortoise bit has another meaning as well, but it just sounds.. well.. screwed?

Apps coming to PSP? (3 years ago)
It certainly looks like it. While checking my Facebook on my PSP, I came across this at the bottom of the page.
And when you click on this link, it takes you to this:
Sorry for the darkness and Picture Quality. Was using my phone. But it certainly looks like the PSP or PSP Go! Will be using apps, much like the iPod Touch and Nintendo DSi. Of course, this could just be a huge misunderstanding on my part, so sorry if it is and that comes up on every phone that you use.

Re: AFL Thread/Tipping 2009 (Prizes Updated) (4 years ago)
Eagles were very lucky today. Honestly thought we didn't deserve that win. Average all over. We were lucky we were up against Melbourne and not another side, because we would have been smashed.
LeCras is fast becoming one of our best players. He is a class above everyone else at the moment. Was a bit inaccurate today with 4.6, but he did his job very well. Young Josh Kennedy looks the goods. He will only get better as he plays more games but he did some nice things. I'm hoping Kerr's injury isn't too severe. Coxy's disposal is starting to worry me, it might just be the new workload he has taken on, and hopefully it is and this will be fixed when Naitanui comes in in a few weeks. Adam Cockie is an absolute gun. Looked great last week, and his efforts in the third quarter today probably saved us the game. Not sure why Embley gets bagged so much, he was relatively clean today and one of our best players.
For the Dees, Cale Morton looks like a fantastic player. Had 18 marks today and 34 disposals. Nathan Jones, IMO, is a future leader. He performs week in, week out.
For the Eagles, I would only make a few changes:
IN: Tim Houlihan/Eric McKenzie (depends on matchups), Tom Swift (only if Kerr injured)
OUT: Matthew Spangher, Daniel Kerr (if injured)

Re: AFL Thread/Tipping 2009 (Prizes Updated) (4 years ago)
F***.
So close. In rainy Launceston, on a day of just 10 degrees, I admit I was confident before the game that we could pull off an upset. And I was even more confident at quarter time. In a.. well, shocking first quarter for both teams, West Coast led 1.5 (11) over the Hawks 1.3 (9). The Hawks kicked 3 in the second to West Coast's 1 however, and they led by 8 at the main break. The Eagles though, struck back, and the margin sat at just 2 points at the final change. It wasn't to be though, as the Hawks ended up winning by 18 points.
For the Hawks, Sam Mitchell starred, picking up 40 disposals, Jordan Lewis had 35, Brad Sewell 31 and Garry Moss got 24 disposals and 4 goals. Roughead also scored 4 for Hawthorn.
For the Eagles, Matt Rosa picked up 35 disposals, Matt Priddis 32, Dean Cox 32, David Wirrpanda 30, and Ben McKinley kicked 3 goals.
Bad news for the Eagles too, with Josh Kennedy being knocked out by Josh Head in the WAFL. He had kicked two goals in the first quarter, before being taken off by Medical staff. It is unsure whether he will be available for selection next week.
Swift and McNamara however, both had 29 touches in the WAFL, with Houlihan (27) not far behind.
In that case I think,
IN: Kennedy (if fit), Swift
OUT: Hansen, Schofield (keep in if Kennedy is not fit),

Firmware 5.50 released! (4 years ago)
The PSP's new firmware, 5.50, has just been released. You can download it now from the Network Update section under Settings on your PSP's XMB (Cross Media Bar).
The features included in the update are:
One: Information Board added to XMB - it displays news and updates in a ticker in the top right corner of the XMB. (This is bugging me, can't seem to find the ticker. Can find the Info Board though.. maybe there is an option somewhere)
Two: Memory Stick improvements - create and access sub-folders on your Memory Stick PRO Duo for music, videos and photos. Also, the available space required to download a file from PlayStation Store to your Memory Stick has been reduced significantly.
Three: Internet search for games directly from the XMB - search the Internet for information about your PSP games by hitting triangle while a game is selected to get the [Internet Search] option.
Four: Trend Micro trial - access a free trial of two Trend Micro services:
a) Trend Micro Web Security uses Web reputation technology to block PSP owners from accidentally visiting a Web site that may contain malicious content designed to steal personal information and confidential data.
b) Trend Micro Kids’ Safety uses URL filtering technology to prevent children from accessing Web sites that feature inappropriate content.
Note: These Trend Micro Free Trials are only available until July 31, 2009.
Also, the PlayStation Store has been cleaned up a little, The Go!Messenger icon has disappeared, the [Date and Time Settings] [Date and Time] has changed, Trend Micro Security has been added to Bookmarks in the Internet Browser and the Avatar settings in Account Management under the PS Network Icon has been cleaned up. There is also Auto Sign In for the PS Network. Internet Search is now on the Web Browser itself.
It is necessary to download this firmware to continue using the PlayStation Store.
Honestly, I'm not quite sure of the point of having Trend Micro on there. There are no viruses for the PSP.. so what is the point?

Re: AFL Thread/Tipping 2009 (Prizes Updated) (4 years ago)
Very hard week to tip that one. I think I got 3 as well. Nice to see the Eagles get up though
Embley had a nice return to form. Love the look of Eric MacKenzie, shows a lot of good qualities. Could be a great replacement for Glassy once he moves on. Kerr was quiet in the first half, but exploded in the second, ended up being the second highest possession getter on the ground after Boyd. Adam Selwood again played very well, Masten quiet again, although I think that could be because he isn't getting a whole lot of time on the ground. Cox rucked very well and McKinley chased hard in the forward line, something he needed to work on.
All up, great performance by the boys and I'm really pleased at the result. The Hawks next week will be a good tester for them as it was a hot day yesterday in Perth, and now we have to fly over to Tassie to take on the reigning premiers. So, why am I quietly confident?

Re: Sony Testing Download-Only PSP Releases (4 years ago)
There are a LOT of p*ssed off people on the US forums that I visit. Personally, I think it isn't the best move they could have made.
Patapon 2 is one of the PSP's biggest releases for this year, and they are going to lose a fair bit of cash over this.
Some people don't have credit cards to download this. Sony though fixed this problem (or so they thought) with downloadable vouchers. The thing they forgot? What about the download time, people with slow internet, people with not much download capacity on their internet plan.
It is good though to see Sony moving into the future and ditching this god awful UMD format.

Re: AFL Thread/Tipping 2009 (Prizes Updated) (4 years ago)
We'll just keep quiet about the game today eh?
Nah, Saints were brilliant. We were absolutely horrific. They deserved to smash us.
Gardiner was great, as was Koschitzke, Montagna is very underated, he is a fantastic player. Goddard was explosive in the first quarter.
Fletcher was utter sh**. Drop him now. Need Wirra back in to give us a sweeper in the defensive 50. Pleased with two players however, Mitch Brown I thought showed a bit today. Kerr got tied up a bit at the start, but finished reasonably well with 30 disposals. McKinley and Hansen were quiet, Brett Jones had a shocker of a first quarter.
INS: Will Schofield, David Wirrpanda, Josh Kennedy
OUTS: Chad Fletcher, Ryan Davis, Adam Hunter
Also,
Carlton has been pipped by the Bombers.
Brisbane had a comfortable win over Sydney.
