I usually agree with you obs, and in this case i mostly do, but c&c3 (on pc at least) was pretty good, like a facelift, nothing really new, but it looked and felt better.

Super Mario Bros 2 was a big dissappointment for me, plug it in and it was like wth? what is this about?

as far as modern gaming, my biggest dissappointment was oblivion, it was hyped up by a lot of my coworkers, so i fiugred i'd spend the money and get the game of the year edition, played it for about an hour and (poof) lost interest. Though - will be restarting it this weekend to see if it was just my frame of mind at the time. I like to give games as many chances as i can before i release them into the wild.

I do agree with that, but i'm glad there is some reminder you have it on mute, but the frequency is way too often, maybe once every couple of minutes... anyway, i have 1 standard one, and 3 halo3 edition ones, all work beautifully.

I have a lot of them so that when one dies, i can switch to another and start charging the dead one. the batteries to not last long enough.

First console game was tiger-heli for nes

first pc game was doom

first console was a sega cd (as my parents had gotten me the genesis), first game i got for it was double switch, excellent game.

It takes ~4 minutes per year, so figure a little over 2 hours. Then figure in the 3 hour nap...

"Nothing to annouce" and "No plans at this time...." both leave it open for a "we didn't lie, we just hadn't decided yet..." response at the 360 release annoucement.

Like I said, I don't care one way or the other, but i think if we say it will or it won't at this point, we would be wrong.

I agree, I bet we will see another silicon knights revision of the game, which if they are going to do that, i don't think it should retain the same name (ie Twin Snakes on their other revision), otherwise it would belittle both versions.

I'm going to be getting my ps3 in a few months, so i'm not highly opinionated on this topic at the moment, but i think that if they do port it over, it won't be good overall for the quality of the franchise. (I am not saying it won't make money, however).
