Yeah thats right, I think they have yet to make any money out of the Xbox brand, but I believe they looks at the profitability over a 10-15~ year range rather than each individual generation of console.
What a week! Now to find a good price on MGS4.

Anyone thats even remotely interested in racing games get Grid. I spent all weekend playing it, its so addictive, you just want to do one more race. One of the best "arcadey" style racers i've played.
Question: is the demo single or multiplayer or both?
Racedriver: Grid (x360) - Loving this game. Graphics/sound/physics (although arcadey feeling) are all great. I like the way the championships are layed out (similar to Dirt) and its just a lot of fun.

There are lots of nice little touches in there too like the instant reply function that allows you to wind back 10-20secs and choose to continue at any point in the replay. Meaning if you stuff up and crash you can go back and correct it. Obviously not realistic but a nice touch none the less.

Also like the team sponsors "mini game", you will see what i mean when you play it. choosing certain sponsors that give you $$ for certain race outcomes is something new in racing games im pretty sure.

Ninja Gaiden 2 (x360) - I agree with most of what has been said, the levels wont exactly wow you (not that they look bad either) but the fighting is spot on. Personally I prefer the style and finess of this game over DMC4 (although DMC4 is graphically better) and the massive amounts of gore give you a sense of satisfaction each time you kill an enemy. Im only 1/4 thorugh the 2nd level so I cant comment too much yet. Yes the camera can get annoying as mentioned in many reviews, but it doesnt ruin the game for me

Loving both these games and recommend them to you guys! Now to get stuck into both of them before MGS4 next week. What a great week for us gamers icon_smile.gif
That bloody Haze advert popup on this site at the moment. True it looks better than the actual game, but after the 5th time it really starts to get annoying.
Re: Fallout 3 screens (4 years ago)
Think this is my most anticipated game this year, above all the other quality like MGS4, Gears2, Fable2.

Cant wait for it!
Assasins creed is one of the best looking games around imo, so this is great news!
Agree this would suck BUT at least it gives me a week of playing Racedriver: Grid which is coming out on the 12th as well.
IGN gave the game 8.9/10
^I didnt have that problem. Maybe your download corrupted or something?
Hopefully hes already signed the contract to do the 2 DLC episodes icon_razz.gif
I read somewhere one of the Blizzard devs saying they will probably overhaul the whole graphics engine at some stage.

It needs it I reckon.
^ Nope, Link?
Re: Haze (5 years ago)
Wow 4.5 is a harsh score.

I was very underwhelmed by the demo, to me it seemed like a Halo 3 clone with some "superhuman" (nectar) abilities thrown in.

Was considering getting it if I founda cheap copy but probably wont bother now, unless IGN got it horrible wrong.
Major Nelson & E said this list is fake.
^^ You know you can play the demo online don't you?

I'm at 99.5% completion but I can't work out what else I need to do. I've done all the story missions, assassinations, delivered all cars to Brucie, delivered all cars to Stevie, shot all pigeons, completed all stunt jumps, killed all the most wanted criminals, won all the races, .The only things I can think of that it might be are something to do with one of my friends or one of the random characters. I hope I can work this out because it would be cool to get that prize from the social club.
Yeah i think most of the random characters count towards the completion. there are about 5 that dont.
He hasnt "blocked communication" accidentally?
Cool, but I can see it going the same way as Xbox Live Video Marketplace and being specific to US.

I cant see us being able to download HBO shows earlier than they show them on TV in Aus for example.
Yeah Dwayne becomes your friend and over 80% unlocks an ability. Bascially you can call him to send some backup to you in the form of a couple of gangsters.
Certainly runs a lot smoother than Dirt which often chugged. Especially during the big truck raid races.
^^ Cool!

Might order it from DVD Crave so I get it on June 7th then....
Yeah demo didnt wow me. Seemed like a Halo clone.

Might get it eventually cheap, but wont be a day 1 purchase for me.

Okay, so the game is less than a month away
Think its 25th June So 1.5 months.

Will definitly be getting this!
Downloaded this morning so will play it this arvo after work. Looking forward to it.

Has the full game got a release date yet? I couldnt see it on the PALGN Aus release list.

EDIT: found it on the PALGN list. 6th August! Further away than i thought icon_sad.gif
Im using Component cables as I have an original non HDMI 360, dont think ive ever seen this setting so might be HDMI only. Ill check it later on.

EDIT: I just reread your post and you are saying it IS HDMI only. Oops.
Nope I am too. Might grab both 360 and PS3 demos to compare.
A hint for "Under the Radar"

If you fly under a bridge a message will pop up saying "x amount of bridges left to fly under" If you pause the game while that message is on screen, the map will show you where all 14 bridges are.
