I've found them to be of high quality. The paper is MUCH better than the paper of posters that are given out for free at conventions and whatnot.

Though, I got them mainly cause I am a big fan of the Zelda games, if you want to save you're points for something better that could be coming along, it's probably the wiser thing to do. Unless of course you are planning to buy a couple more Nintendo products or have some sort of stash to use if it comes up.

I think it was more the DSi which caused problems for the 3DS. The DSi being launched as a DS with improvements, but not a new system, and then the 3DS, which seems like "oh they added 3D too".

But I have the feeling they'll just re-name it to something different.

No man enjoy the game all you want, just don't go around saying stuff like people should enjoy things for what they're designed to do, it comes off as condecending. I didn't like what it was designed.

See this **** is what pisses me off. Ok you like it and I don't. That's one thing, but this pervasive attitude that the people that don't enjoy the game are somehow playing it wrong or something? Like there's this great game underneath it all and we just can't see it for some reason?

What the **** is with that? It's this attitude that, instead of admitting a game has it's faults and isn't perfect but you enjoy it anyway. Wich is perfectly fine, I love the Assassins Creed games but they're far from perfect. But the overall attitude to people that dislike Skyward Sword seems to be "Well you're just not playing it right"

And no, its not that people 'play it wrong'. And no, its not underneath anything, I think it is a great game.

Looks like they needed to be registered within certain dates. So looks like I won't be able to enter unless I buy two new games. This is particularly frustrating considering that I have 7 3DS games and will be unable to enter because I entered the codes too quick.
I entered OoT when I bought it so I'd have enough points to get the zelda posters, and it counted that and said I was elegible as soon as I registered Mario Kart 7.

It may be that you have to register at least one of the elegible games during the promotion period. Or it might be an error.

This took me a while as it isnt very intuitive. You have to click on the side box that says you have registered 2 valid products click here to register email (or something along those lines). It then opens the promotion page and after waiting a few seconds a box pops up that asks for an email address. After that you get a confirmation email, which asks you to wait for up to 10 days for the code.

In hindsight, i shoulda picked the peach 3DS as i would see that as one that is least popular.

From the games I've actuyally played I list my GOTY as Skyward Sword and the runner up as Xenoblade. Having not played much at all of the other nominations I can't comment on any of them.

You can get a portable charger from DX for $13.83 (iirc). They're surprisingly good quality and charge everything except an iPad. It fully charges a 3ds with some power to spare. Not sure why more people don't use them, TBH. They're much nicer than those Nyko things.
Do you know if any of these portable chargers are found in retail stores?

That sucks, Mine where shipping in a cardboard cylinder, so there where no corner damages. Actually I was kinda surprised with how quickly and in good shape they got here. I should have ordered that kirby pouch, too, but I have to do those damned surveys.
Wow. If this gets a English translation, I'm buying me some copies.

Hmmm. Did you try the other code on the second page? The first Community set-up was apparently buggy.

Also, I think, due to the small size of the group times for people to get on and race would need to be organized here. I've not yet managed to have a race. icon_sad.gif

Yup, its the new Manga by Akira Himekawa. They have one small book each for most games in the series. OoT and FS have 2.

That'll probably be just a single book. I don't think it'll be a series.
