got a new shirt today, I'm thinking of removing all the buttons except the bottom one, just to dramatically increase the chance of open-shirtedness.

No exact date for season 5 yet, but if it's the last 2 seasons to go by then it should start sometime in October 2010.

There is a guy who loves our store so much, he told a staff member "When no one is watching, i go inside and clean the store. And sometimes I'll go into Big W, and i trash the place." Nice.

I had a customer come up to me today and say "Is that your natural hair colour? I think you should grow your hair very long and part it in the middle... Its what jesus would do.. he said so in the bible". Needless to say, I'm actually contemplating it.
At the movies today, I saw a mother and her little daughter upon arriving late to a new release movie and realising it had sold out, turn to her little daughter and say "Thank this lady for ruining your birthday".

Re: Movember! (3 years ago)
I should have started preparing for movember in january
fishpond.com.au

I pre-ordered NBA 2k10 from them because they had the cheapest pre-order price. A friend who ordered some books from them also recommended the site. BIG MISTAKE, the release date for the title was 9/10/2009 as also indicated on their website, however on the actual release date I was sent a email informing me that the title had been delayed until the 21/10/2009.

Yeah no big deal I thought, it was a cheap price and they probably sold more then they planned, so I was fine with it. Then on the 21/10/2009 I received another message that the title had been delayed again! this time it was listed as a "unknown" shipping date, and that staff will update the shipping date in 24-48 hours. Four days later I finally receive a email informing me that the title will be estimated to ship by 18/11/2009! well over one month after the release date. Even though the site currently lists the game as having "35 quantities in stock" and will ship within "6-11 days". Why is my game which I have reserved before the release date taking substantially longer then this?

They stated in the email that the delay was due to the fact that the title "hasn't quite hit the shelves and that the publisher was "probably just finishing off the printing". This is clearly false as I have been to many stores since it was released and ALL of them had plenty of stock on hand. Even a friend who bought it off CDWOW (A online store notoriously slow for pre-orders) has already received his copy.

This is the first and last time I will pre-order online.
in the words of the comic book guy "best videogame ever..."

Next time someone suggests you stay behind and do some extra maths, just say no. You need that time to work on your English homework.

Re: The Joys of Retail (3 years ago)
I had a customer buy a GPS unit from me. After a few days he came back all pissed off saying that it was a waste of money and it always tells him that he is in Brisbane. So I grabbed the unit, took off the sticker on the screen showing a "demo" of Brisbane and showed him how to turn it on... priceless.

I've got the exact same chair, clearly superior though as it has moulded into my body structure.
Re: Dexter (3 years ago)
Dexter has been off the air way too long for me not to watch the first one.
I've got a list...

- I always check my phone, even though I know no one has called/texted.

- Whenever finish a game, I always google search game forums to make sure I finished the game roughly the same time as other people.

- I have a big LCD tv, yet I still watch most of the DVDs on my laptop.

- Whenever I listen to music, I always seem to daydream to a world where I'm performing that exact same song live and people LOVE me.

- Whenever I watch a movie, I always read the plot summary on wikipedia after. (unless it sucked then i usually don't care to check).

- If I'm missing a episode of a tv-show, I won't watch it again until I have seen it. Even if I own every episode after that one.

- I have a strange fear when stopping at a traffic light at night, that someone will drag me out of the car and punch me repeatedly while then driving off with my car (karma for playing GTA perhaps?).

- Most times when I'm on MSN messenger I appear offline, I still don't know why i bother to log in.

- I get motion sickness which isn't overly wierd, but it also happens after long periods of playing burnout paradise.

- The only knowledge I can ever seem to remember are one's which are completely useless to my day to day life (thank-you wikipedia).

- Sometimes I put my Ipod Touch next to my ear so people think it's a Iphone.

- I love the smell of basketballs.

- I still wear shirts regularly that I wore 7 years ago.

- I was scared of Santa Claus till the age of 8.
