Only problem is a majority of DVDs in Australia come with hardly any features example; AVP and Freddy Vs Jason - they only came as one disc versions in Aus.
Remember how pissed I was when we put on my FvJ dvd and all there was was a trailer? Good times..
Lucky they brought the 2 disc edition out.

Hes trying to say the AV Channel are actually the ones who give us Ninja Scroll - hes trying to get smart by being technical but really it is Madman that gives us the Anime in Aus.

Madman distrubutes the anime to us here in Aus but anyway..
Re: Ninja Scroll (8 years ago)
Madman acquire the license to sell the particular show in this country, they author the DVDs, slap their Madman logo on it. The AV Channel then distributes the product.
Further up I said nothing has been announced about the box set. You validated that by reporting the magazine said it is TBA. I figured you didn't understand it.
Logic tells us it will be released here as all of Madman's series get the box set treatment 12 - 18 months after the last dvd is released. It is in actual fact not on their current release list which officially only goes up to May, and the details of this such release are not known at the moment.
And personally I don't see how an American magazine could possibly print news about the Australian market that hasn't been known long before it's release.

TBA stands for 'To Be Announced'. Thank you

Madman are the distrubutors of Ninja Scroll in Australia and in the current issue of New Type USA it has the commercial for the box sets and in the back section - the Australian release list contains 'Ninja Scroll Box Set - TBA'
Im trusting it will be released some time this year

Talking about Collectors editions, Pretty soon Madman is releasing the full series of Ninja Scroll as a box set.
The LE version consists of a metal case with an extra DVD with features like the making. And the standard version comes with the 3 volumes in a standard cardboard case.
Well worth a look at

Re: My anime retailers (8 years ago)
Only order from Madman as a last ditch effort. The prices are expensive and their customer service is terrible.
Re: Free Madman Anime DVD (8 years ago)
Mine came today. It contains first episodes of; Gundam Seed, Inuyasha, Peacemaker and Mezzo DSA + a heap of trailers.
Re: My anime retailers (8 years ago)
For DVD's the easiest and cheapest way to buy is from an internet store.
http://www.devoted.com.au - I use all the time. Are fantastic.
http://www.fbo.com.au - are also good, if you have access to a credit card.
For Manga? I dunno...Don't bother.

Re: Visual Basic (8 years ago)
Not enough time. The amount of marks don't justify the effort. And we don't even know what the criteria is yet.
Re: Dragonball Z Movie (8 years ago)
None of the info you posted is confirmed. The whole idea has been all rumours since about 4 years ago.

1. the life cycles of the aliens... was much too fast, they went from chest burster to fully grown in minutes... they're supposed to need to feed... and the eggs only hatch if they are needed, not hundreds at once like when Ewen Bremner finally died (though considering there were no more facehuggers later, maybe they were all needed)

This show kicks absolute ass. Please discuss.

Re: Matrix Revolutions discussion thread (spoilers) (9 years ago)
I just got back from seeing it and I don't know what to say...I still can't decide whether I liked it or not.
I think I was more impressed with Reloaded cause I went in un-hyped whereas with Revolutions I went in expecting the world and all I got was a country. A really sh*tty country.

Incidentally, Primator, I'm in Sydney as well. Have you got any apples? I need apples.

-over 18(who prolly already work/uni/school)
-with a good to excellent grasp of the english language
-with two or more current consoles
-to post reviews/news/artciles at least once a week
-during the busiest period of the year(not only for palgn but most everybody in general)
-for no money
2nd - not much incentive there besides a big silver nameplate
the only serious people you'd find are the ones who do a lot of gaming, and are bothered to write. I'm sure anyone over 18 with all that stuff would have much more important things to do, and have to earn money at the same time. I hope. But i'm sure we can all submit a news item if we tried.
3rd - how do you submit a news item? ^^"
