I'm not sure if that comment is directed at myself or not, but if so, I'm sorry. I didn't realize that I wasn't allowed to form an opinion of something based upon the information provided to me.

I never said that the new games are a write-off, but as someone who has staunchly defended Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh from the dregs of the original fandom, the new stuff just isn't exciting me right now. That doesn't mean it won't change.
but again, to be fair, the new stuff your not "sold on" so far is 5 screens of a city and 1 pokemon. forming an opinion is one thing, basing it on so little evidence is another.
ok, so, ive got a question about the trainer house in viridian. does anyone know if the trainers update everytime you sync your pokewalker?

so, for example, say i connect my walker to a friends, at that time, his team is a 30 golbat. i sync my walker, go to the house, he's dude in there has said golbat. if i then connect with him the next day or whatever, and he's now got a crobat, when i sync my walker with my game, will his dude update in the house?

if anyone can figure out what im on about, would be much appreciated icon_biggrin.gif
so ive been playing this nonstop for about a week. i just got a new job, and funnily enough, every second person there has a ds, one of these games, and a pokewalker, which is awesome to kill time.

i went on a legendary hunt, and caught mewtwo (lol'd as i walled it with my scizor) then took him to catch lugia (and continued to lol as he was also walled by mewtwo) i just got 2 runners left and red. although red is being a bastard and destroying my team.

buuuut luckily i traded my comp team into HG, so now he should be easy, which also means im good to battle anyone if they want.

oh and i got my extremespeed dratini. which roxors.

thats all i can think of for now.

Anyway, my QUILAVA evolved. And with that, my team is (almost) complete. Just gotta get through the main story so I can make STARMIE forget those damn HMs. Except for Surf. That's a given.
no no, rock nothings dragon. its neither good nor bad. its super effective on a dragonite because they're part flying though.

I got HeartGold today and am absolutely loving it! The simple little refinements such as the infinite run button and having your Pokemon follow you are just awesome. I also picked up SoulSilver for Waka, but he's way too busy starting the game now to post icon_wink.gif

Anyway, I'm in Union Cave at the moment with my Totodile and Mareep. I'll post back later when I have gotten further into the game - I need to get up to the Bug-Catching Contest tonight so I can get my Scyther!

thats a damn good choice for a wall. ive got one in my platinum team and its defensive capabilities are outstanding.

just ask macka or waka icon_wink.gif

as for what team im planning for HG and SS, im not really sure, ill just play it through catching my favourites, and then for comp ill probably port my platinum team over. its not broken, so no need to fix it.

arghhh, i got home with every intention of heading back out to meet you guys, but i totally crashed on my bed from over exhaustion icon_sad.gif

a mightyena evo does sound interesting, but to be quite honest, as a pokemon mightyena never interested me. so personally i hope its something else.

the one macka posted does look uncannily official, but i doubt they would let it slip so easily.

as march draws ever closer, i find my thoughts turning to pokemon more and more often. ill be importing mine from the states too, so i dont miss a minute. i havent worked on what my team will be yet, but no doubt my platinum scizor will be heading it competitively.

actually, im starting to feel like battling again, anyone else feeling up to it too?

as for tubing, i proudly tube. at long range, im a crackshot aim, so why wouldnt i use it? and just for sh!ts and giggles, ive got a kit with akimbo 1887's, and a scar with a tube. people rage, i laugh.

as for whats made me smile? my parents have been away on holiday since the 28th of dec. they get back thurs. in the 18 days that they will have been away for, ive had a friend live at mine for 9 days, as well as a few other people. ive had 3 major lan parties with my mates. gone out 4 nights in a row and cant remember a thing from any of them. gone to the cricket, got burnt. got drunk years eve, spent some time with my ex new years day..
all the while getting paid on my annual leave.

all in 2 weeks so far. 2010's looking good. icon_biggrin.gif
to be honest, im generally more surprised when something doesn't have a Wikipedia page.
off the top of my head, one of the BIG things they need to fix is rupees. i mean, you dont NEED them in twilight princess. why would i buy stuff? i can go cut grass for my bombs and arrows. fairy's? i know where they spawn on each map. nothing is worth buying, nothing is needed. the only thing you use rupees for is the awesome looking (but useless) armor, but that drains them to quick.

so give me something i WANT to spend them on. that i need. that i can work towards. and i dont mean a bridge that i can pay for 1/3 of the way through the game.

i know theres other stuff, but lets start small, mkay?

The ending boss in Dragon Age.......

Throughout the entire game I barely struggled- but then I got upto the last boss who is so god damm cheap!! I can't go back either. If the game was reaction/twitched based I could handle it without reliance on items and potions... but this is just ridiculous.... I have never walked away from an end boss before, but this may be it.
morrigan is the savior. just make sure to call in an army, keep her far far away so she has freeze the bastard and hammer him with spells. when i killed it, my entire party died halfway, and she finished it of nicely.

although i used something like 30 health potions..
