Wouldn't you have a lot of other games to play anyway even if you missed out?

But yeah, hurry up Sony. I want Castlevania DLC >____>
I have other games to play, but I'd like my compensation for it being down so long icon_razz.gif
I'm in a similar position. The store is available from PC but only for access to PSP titles, however PSP's remote play may be an option.

Hey guys, so i bought a psp awhile ago second hand. Its a 2000 model the crisis core limited edition.
The thing is when i bought it the guy had cfw on it so i was playing with that for awhile but i went and bought a few actual games and tried to play them long behold... the psp doesnt read them. Like it makes noises showing its trying to work and ive checked to see if the laser lights up and it does.

Ive looked around everywhere for a solution, cleaning with cotton tip, sliding the laser holder thing to the side, knocking it a few times etc but nothing works.
On very rare occasions the psp will recognize the UMD but this only lasts 5 minutes max and then it freezes...

So atm im quite a sad panda icon_sad.gif and not sure what to do. Its a very hard item to come by so i dont want to give up on it. So does anyone have any ideas? like who i could go to repair it thats trustworthy and all that..

Any info would be heaps appreciated thanks icon_smile.gif
Maybe Modspace?
^Hahaha

Anyone interested in playing some friendly online co-op. I've finished the main game, and Undead Nightmare, and I just can't get enough. Looking to extend the experience. Drop your PSN ID if you're up for some RDR in the PM.
So Lara is now Kate, and The Others will try and eat your face?! Okay, I'm in; Just don't completely wash out the colour palette and maintain the precision in platforming i.e. don't ape Dude Raider/Enslaved.
I had the same positive experience with my (out of warranty) PSP 3000, although, in my case we were only talking a matter of days. Even replaced my unit with the Gran Turismo signature model I sent out. Very pleased, but anything less would just be un-Australian. icon_smile.gif

No, I do, and it's a fair point, but element465's comments are bordering on trolling.
Complaining about a game crashing and then commenting on something that you yourself admit is a fair point is trolling?

Sorry but a game freezing on you repeatedly is a pretty **** legitimate complaint.
Seems more like you think anyone saying anything negative about the game is trolling.
Hehe. There's constructive criticism, and then there's angry videogame nerd. The game's not perfect nor is it the second coming of Christ, but if you buy a stock (premium) car, do a little research and work on it, GT5's pretty damn awe inspiring.

For a game this 'polished', why do I have to change the units from Miles to KM's myself?
Se7en really doesn't like you measuring distance in km's it seems.
No, I do, and it's a fair point, but element465's comments are bordering on trolling. That should be discouraged. The first thing I do with any game is hit the options menu and anyone attracted to a sim of any kind should do the same.
Re: Dead Nation! (2 years ago)
I'm gonna pick this one up along with Pac-Man CE (compatible with PSP and PS3!) during my offpeak overnight. See you in the impending zombocalypse.
Wow. That's a bombshell! Do you have a reliable source?

Bit disappointed in the music too. OK, you can use your own, but GT3 had plenty of great driving tracks
I'm reasonably impressed with the soundtrack:
- Eagles of Death Metal
- Kele
- Them Crooked Vultures
- Queens of the Stone Age
- Yeah Yeah Yeahs
And some decent dance. Okay so it's not on par with a GTA/Wipeout/Motorstorm or even Dirt 2 but it's above par for a GT. Although I do miss Garbage - As Heaven Is Wide (GT) and Grinspoon - Champion (GT3). Customise.
Eurogamer has a pretty comprehensive review. There's a demo up on PSN I downloaded recently - looking forward to spooling it up. Although if, like me, you're a PlayStation owner I think you might be better served by the HD remake of Shadow of the Colossus - that game is omnipotent.

I also have most of the entire set of NMS, just missing 3 issues icon_biggrin.gif
PM me with what you're missing and I'll see what I can do.

How cheap can you get a PSPGo around? If its still around $400 I would rather buy a few games on my PSP2000. $300 I would consider it

Awesome! This will probably be the only PSP game I buy in like 4+ years..

Red Dawn did a great job with Chains of Olympus and I heard in an old interview that it would be their last God of War title. Glad to hear that isn't the case!
Ready at Dawn, and it was to be their last PSP title. Happy lies. This looks to be a perfect opportunity to showcase their new proprietary engine.

I've got a bad feeling that it's because Nier Replicant has a bad case of 'Drakengard syndrome', which would have deemed it inappropriate... But that's just a conspiracy theory.
Can you explain what you mean by that to save me the research?
About time GoW Collection! I have GoW III CE still sitting here sealed.

i was under the impression that it was just an art style they were going for in Lost and the damned, a grainy look to kinda go with the rough type of story.
i dont know does that sound good?
but yeh i think its intentional and it just gives it its own feel. helps remind you what one you are playing haha.
Even with the noise filter turned off the environmental textures are lower in resolution and the lighting engine generally washes out many of the assets.

The only disappointing thing is the cloth map for Dragon Age, where is it?:/
There were 2 versions of the CE released in Australia and only the steelcase one exclusive to EB had the Cloth Map.
Damn, that's annoying. I hate how EB can grab those exclusives.
The cloth map's pretty poor anyway.

You do realise the collectors edition was $20 or more over the games normal price depending where you bought it, and this and the theme adds up to $10? We SAVED money icon_razz.gif
The CE comes with the original score too.

I wonder. Can anyone confirm if those PSP games on special are cheaper than EB, JB or GAME? Last I checked, Soul Calibur was $49 at work, so that's kinda tempting.
Much more reasonable prices on PSP titles. UMD's rarely fall sub $20 but then if it were a title I wanted, I'd pay and additional $10 for a hard copy.
Having had significant hands-on time with both Bravia's and Samsung's current lines, I say just buy the best Samsung 40" LCD you can afford and you'll never look back.

I can recommend some good dvd's to rent instead with much better stories.

Probably have more gameplay than Heavy Rain too...
Go on then.

Likely, being a Bioware game she will of course be 'courtable'. No female in the bioware universe can resist the player character. Ever.
I guess they know how to play to their target audience...

As has been mentioned previously, ignore PALGN's Australian Release List. It means nothing at all.
Fixed.
Re: Codes up for grabs! (3 years ago)
DiRT 2 (PS3) code? If you've got it I'll take it.
Stunning. CG is stunning. Pity the gameplay isn't nearly as engaging, but then there was Demon's Souls.

PSP stuff
I think that's a 2000, not a 3000, just based on looks. And you can't really put Custom Firmware on a 3000 properly, so if you did that then it's def a 2k.
It's a 3000 - the 2000 had a Home button, not a PS button. That yellow shell looks like shit though.
