Awesome. Now they're just like their compact disc brothers, yeah? Well, backwards compatibility is now viable if anyone had doubted it. <_<
Indeed. And as if that weren't enough, Sony recently patented a laser unit that produces both new indigo and traditional red beams

I see you've radically cut down on the regularity of submission you're demanding...

Normal Blu-ray discs hold 27GB, so it's safe to assume that these will be using some dual layer Blu-ray discs.

And Backwards compatibility would also be a safe assumption, though the physical properties of Blu-ray discs differ somewhat from dvds and cds (aren't they held in small cartridges?).
No. The first ones released were, but since then they've managed to stop them being so scratchable as to require that kind of protection.

I now have two monitors, a 17inch flat one and a 15inch. Dual setup is pretty. icon_smile.gif

Capcom has announced that they will be producing Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, a third-person action and puzzle-solving game based on the cult classic film directed by Henry Seleck. The game will be released October 2004 for PlayStation 2 and takes place after the film.

I'm so happy! There should be a trailer at Gamespot.
Nothing new...

But, well PSII-IV Japanese... and maybe PSO (the first one) for Dreamcast, European and Japanese. Then at some point I should save up to pick up the Game Gear games...

...but I don't think you meant that. icon_wink.gif
Ok, so Kingdom Hearts is now confirmed for the GBA and the PS2, as I'm sure we all already know.

As for FFVII-2, they've said it's going to be... a movie? CG kinda film for release straight onto DVD. Believed to take place two years after the game, IIRC.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it. I'm not a fan of the game, so a comment's hard to make, but I know that if they made Phantasy Star V as a movie and not a game, I'd kinda be happy but at the same time... not. icon_confused.gif
Phantasy Star II, no contest.

Good call - that one slipped through the net. Someone should probably change that. icon_wink.gif

Yeah but they strike every couple of years wanting more money..If you don't like the pay then don't become a teacher.

And in most cases I think most teachers don't deserve what they get paid in the first place. Almost all of my teachers are crap.
Quite frankly, in England the educational system is on its knees because people who don't like the pay aren't becoming teachers.

The whole problem is that the pay's so bad it puts people off teaching. It's a bloody hard job for not very much money, so teachers (however bad they may be) are deserving of respect for just sticking at it.
That was pretty fun.

Any more links for similar things?

I'm not going to pretend to know a whole lot about this, but hasn't the Euro been a problem for more countries than it's benefited?
Most just carried on as normal, I think.

We get that in NSW too. A whole day! Thank god for those greedy teachers!
Hardly greedy, if they get paid the same there as they do here.
omg you named him after me!

Re: What If... (9 years ago)
zemaj is almost correct.

As far as I'm aware, current understanding is that you can go back in time, but only to where there's a time machine.

A guy's building some sort of time machine which should in theory be able to receive pulses of energy from the future, and he expects to get messages FROM the future when he switches it on. Until someone in OUR present works out how to transport people, no one's gonna be here, because there's no "receiver" on this end to recreate them.
Erm... well, now Phantasy Star is technically out (but I don't own it yet! icon_sad.gif ), I s'pose my most anticipated would be Border Down.

September 25th release, chaps. A date for your diary. icon_biggrin.gif
I turn 18 on the 6th September. And, with the passing of that one day, I give up any chance I ever had of being known as a child prodigy. icon_sad.gif

Happy birthday... whoever you are. Yeah.

Mega Drive... SAturn... Shining Force?

I love you. icon_smile.gif
Marriages should be allowed, as should adoption rights.

I don't understand ANYONE using the Bible's teachings as a basis for their prejudices. I'm as religious as the next guy, and I'll actively flaunt what the Bible teaches if I think it goes against the deeper meaning of religion and teachins of Christ.

They'll allow me to buy a PS2, Gamecube and maybe an Xbox.

Phantasy Star for the PS2.

Closely followed by Space Harrier and Fantasy Zone for the same system.

Sig and Av... Nei, from Phantasy Star II. Drawn by Safety Guy - my favourite fanartist. I believe my sig also has "...I wonder what the people will see in the final days...?" on it - Phantasy Star II's last line.

Title... again, Phantasy Star. Noah from PSI, Lutz from PSII and Rune from PSIV are all Generations of Lutz. Rune, the last that we know of, is the fifth generation. So, I'm sixth. Meh.

Sub - but c'mon. Be fair.

The japanese master system also had an FM synthesis chip too by the way icon_wink.gif.
I know. But I own a Mega Drive, and I don't own a Mark III to play that version of the game on. The MD version happened to be a straight port of the Japanese version, though, hence it contains the FM music. Which is rather good.
