I wonder why, no matter what nintendo do, there are always fanboy defending it's action....

More importantly, almost all of us haven't touched the wii-mote controller yet, so how can we say it is better or worse? Why don't we wait until we tried it before we make the useless comment?
How boring can this mean, GBA is flooded with pokemon, and DS is flooded with Nintendo games
Hahaha... Of course MS will say 1080p is meaningless cause Xbox360 cannot support it.

On the other hand, 1080p is meaningless for me also, cause I don't have to TV to output 1080p onto... doh!!!

Burnout has 10 extra crash junctions in the world tour mode, plus a heavily expanded online multiplayer system. You can also save, upload, and download replays from any of your races from Xbox Live. None of these are present in the current-gen versions. Did I forget to mention that the game looks gorgeous? I wouldn't just call that a rehash.
Big deal! Even the Xbox version of Burnout 2 has 15 extra crash junction than the PS2 version, and both those systems are the same generation.

^Don't even try to justify the PS3's price. You are talking about getting a gaming machine (360) and portable gaming machine (DS) for much cheaper than a similar gaming machine to the first(PS3).

Sure the thing has potential, but to me and many others, it isn't worth $1k. Price it at a reasonabler price (like what the USA is getting) and then I'll be happy enough.

BTW, I do agree with your earlier post, I can't see the point of upgrading to a DSL personally, but (obviosly) i disagree with your above statement.
It's just a figure of speech. If a person can happily purchase multiple DS, when he/she can only play 1 DS at 1 time. Then he/she should not complain about PS3 price being expensive. Because the basic PS3 has the same feature as Premium Xbox360 and it is roughly the same price (or even cheaper) than Xbox360 plus addition DS.

Btw, I'm not trying to justify the PS3 price. I found the PS3 to be expensive. I even found Xbox360 basic to be expensive too. I for sure will not buy any of the next-gen at launch. The earliest I would jump into the fever is most likely end of 2008. By then the wave of current gen games should die out, the next gen will have worth playing games, and the prices may also drop!!!
I wish Sega can release a
1) Wonder Boy/Monster World collection
2) Beyong Oasis (Megadrive & Saturn) collection
3) Streets of Rage collection
4) Puzzle (especially Baku Baku) collection

Anyway, I think I'll still get this collection, thanks to Golden Axe 1-3
Xbox360 gameplay was pretty crappy. I hope this one improve on the gameplay as well, rather than just graphics
Add on never sell well in console world. I'll stick with current DVD format until the next gen movie format war is over.

The fool doesn't actually like how the Lite looks. icon_eek.gif I think it's probably the best-looking piece of games hardware I've ever owned.
This is what I don't understand about the public's mentality. Buying 2 DS (DS + DSL) is well worth the money. On the other hand, they are complaining about the PS3 price (Xbox360 Premium + additional DS cost almost the same as PS3 core).
Back in Megadrive/SNES era, I like EA. Now, they only make crappy games.
September for Tekken on PSP
December for Castlevania on DS

Other titles worth mentioning include MGS3:S, Kingdom Hearts 2, Rouge Galaxy

Btw, I didn't know Lemmings 2 was announced? I noticed it on PSP list.
I heard there is bug in the US version, I wonder has it been fixed in the AU version?

From memory, if you move all your units then execute your super power (or some other power), the game will not proceed until to assign the power somewhere. Since all the units have been moved, so you can't assign your power, and since you can't assign your power, you can't do anything but to quit and reload your save.
I still don't get it why people who own DS will rush in to buy DS-Lite. To me, that is a waste of good money.
I wonder if anyone is going to say MS is copying Nintendo...

When one of the Sony guy saying he encourage Homebrew on PS3, someone said Sony is copying Nintendo (don't know where it came from). Now MS is following suit... I wonder when will the MS is copying Nintendo statement start.
Apart from Zelda, nothing else catch my attention. On the other hand, I can also play Zelda on Gamecube.
I know some of my non-gaming friends are excited about Wii. For me, I'll sit back (with my current-gen console) and wait for PS3 or Xbox360 to drop their prices.
Desert Strike and Jungle Strike alone makes this title worth purchasing. Too bad, Urban Strike wasn't include in the disk.

I would also pick Mutant League Hockey over Mutant League Football anytime.

Another game I would love to see in General Chaos. A lot of people didn't like that game, but I enjoy it.

As for Road Rush, it was great during the Sega Megadrive time, but can't compete with today's racing title.

Microsoft copying what, exactly?

Sony copies Wii's motion control.

Sony copies (or is copying) Xbox Live.

And claims Microsoft are copying them? With what?

Sony execs act like a bunch of asses, man. I can't believe the crap he talks!
In the game CONSOLE industry, it's you copy me, and I copy you back.

Sony highly promoted 3D graphics in PS1
Sega follow suit in Saturn
Nintendo further enhance 3D graphics in N64

Nintendo came out with Analog stick (& rumble pack) in N64
Sega followed by having Analog stick for Nights
Sony followed (and improve) with Dual Shock 1
Sony futher improve with Dual Shock 2
Nintendo copy back to add dual analog stick in GC
MS re-arrange the buttons and came up with Xbox controller
MS add a button to access the panel (don't know the actual terms)
Sony (looks like) is going to copy that button

Sony came up with Eyetoy
MS (looks like) is going to have something similar to Eyetoy

Sega started internet gaming on Dreamcast (on cosole)
Sony follow, but didn't do much
MS took the idea and make great improvement with Live
Sony tries to mix Live & it's own idea for PS3

Sony came up with the idea of HDisk on PS2 (optional to cut cost)
MS make the HDisk compulsory on Xbox
MS make HDisk optional for Xbox360 to cut cost
Sony is going to make HDisk compulsory on PS3
Own the Japanese version and pretty disappointed in it. The 1st 10 days was fun, the next 20 days was a chore because I simply want to unlock all the rest of the mini game. After that it just sit there to collect dust.

The game's major fault are....
1) At times, it cannot regconised my hand writing (and I have a neat hand writing).

2) Voice regconition is pretty bad, it failed to understand my friend's voice whom has a Master degree in interprating & translation (Japanese).

3) The game is too easy, my brain age has not dropped below 23 since the 3rd day I owned it, and I got brain age of 20 quite often during the 30 days I played as well.

Screen protectors are over-kill imo.Looking at my old ds the touch-screen didn't have a mark on it.Then again i was never heavy handed or let children(or giant-thumbed dads) play with it with it either.
Screen protector is a must for DS. Unless you don't use the touch screen feature at all.

That's interesting, I wonder why they had to change that?'m fairly happy with my original DS's so I don't think I'll be bothering with a Lite, the screens are bright enough for me already.
100% agree with you. Why get DS lite when your original DS is still functioning well. The smaller size & brightness doesn't justify the purchase at full price again.
Why would anyone still pay full price for PSP GTA when PS2 version is coming out at cheaper price?

EB have a massive sale on at present.

Just picked up a Plantronics headset (Audio 100) for $35 (1/2 price). I like them because they aren't USB (plug straight into mic and speaker ports). Typically I only want the mic but the headset looks very comfy for long WoW sessions.
Just want to say, beware when you shop at EB, some games have huge discount, but some has false discount, false advertising.

God of Wars is now a platinum, and it is selling for $29.95 at everywhere. However, in my local EB it has a price tag of $99.95 with 50% off sticker.

PS2 Slim is officially selling at $199, but in EB it sells for $186 with a side note $63 off. Yes, it is cheaper than other retailers, but should EB said $13 off instead of $63.

While the old DS only had an option to turn on and off the backlight
Just want to point out one thing, turning off the back light in the original DS is pointless, cause it will make the DS unplayable.
Tight suit to attract young teenage boys... hahaha
At first I was willing to pay full price for this, but after all the wait. I will not get this game unless it is 1/2 price.

[What was wrong with voice bomb being included? Sure, it was lame and I didn't like it, but it could easly just not be selected. icon_confused.gif
Well, I like to chose "random" when it comes to multiplayer, and playing voice bomb while you are on the train is certainly no fun.
Don't know why, I cannot get excited with these screenshots (compare to viewing the screenshots of Jade Empire)
As long as voice bomb, and touch screen revenge are removed, then I may consider getting this.

XBOX360 News: Stunning new footage from the highly anticipated FPS title
FPS? I thought Gear of Wars is a 3rd person shooter? I hope I'm still right cause FPS is not my cup of tea.
