I've cancelled my order at www.videogamecentral.com Whatever you do, don't use this crappy company. A couple of weeks ago I emailed them asking them when they thought the items would get shipped....waited a few days, no reply, so emailed them again with the same question....no reply, a week later I asked the same question still with no reply, so this monday I opened a dispute with Paypal saying this company is fradulent and you know what? Got a reply within minutes apologising for the inconvenience, told them to get stuffed and to give me a full refund. Turns out they never had the Akuma fightpad for the Ps3 and the Xbox 360 ones they weren't gonna get untill april anyways. Geez, would've been handy having this info on the product listing as I would never have purchased it from them.

Basically i'm an idiot for ever doubting play-asia. Should've just gone with their product cuz even though it was more expensive with postage they both worked out to be pretty much the same price and atleast with play-asia I have peace of mind. Never again....it's either Amazon, Play-Asia or Ebay just to stay on the safe side. I'm not a very good online shopper cuz I always wonder if i'm dealing with a fradulent company so I should just stick to the peepz I trust.

Anyways...still need some fightpads. So might look on ebay as soon as my refund goes back into my Credit Card cuz if it doesn't then I gotta fight that before spending another $200 on these pads. Really would regret spending $400 all up on them if I can't get that $200 back.

I couldn't care less about the language used or the manner it's used it's the point people are making. Maybe you have trouble sleeping at night when someone's had a go at you on the internet but I seriously couldn't care less. My advice to you is to stop hanging on the little details of everything and actually address the problem at hand.

Fact is as a consumer i've overpaid Valve for what I believe is a crappy product and i'm entitled to post my comments on that. And for the record i'm not amped up, ramped up, arked up or whatever...it's just the way I post. Infact I only post from work and I can very easily work and post at the same time. My work is never affected by it.

The issue I have is definately with the game! Valve are supposed to be one of the industry's best devs and they come out out with basically what is episodic content which is in all honesty not good enough for me. I want full games not multiplayer components or chapters of a full game. Left 4 Dead is basically a multiplayer game only with the single player aspect being the multiplayer minus real opponents. For $80 I should've gotten more and I am entitled to more as this is rip-off. If Valve don't wanna sort that issue out for me....like i've said i'm no longer going to continue to buy their products, I really don't see this is any of your business and you should just stay out of it.

It's cuz i've basically turned into a 360 fanboy overnight.

I knew this game would be generic but I was kinda hoping it would surprise me...it hasn't! I've only got like 6 or 7 games for my Ps3 but they're the most forgettable games i've ever had for any console. My frickin' Wii games have given me more enjoymemt and fucking hate that thing.

The 360 is superior when it comes to games, deny it all you want but it's fact. The hardware reliability sux and it sux to pay for online but the games and the way they actually do interact online are superior in every way shape and form.

Lol...just look at SFIV, can't even get antialiasing on a 1 on 1 fighting game.

I know you povo single console owning mongs are gonna have a hard time dealing with that, but suck it up cuz it's how it is.

Wow, talk about underwhelming, played this for about an hour and a half last night. Firing it up I thought the game immediately started giving me that feeling of what I now call 'Sony generisicm', basically it's the feeling I get from playing a game that's more hype than product. I got it with both Resistance games, I got it with the original Killzone all the Socom games etc A large part of this really has to do with the 'military theme', it seems to be a popular one to choose to get Sonyfanboys creaming themselves so obviously Sony are gonna milk that. I don't really like military themed anything as it's just been done way to much in games and really doesn't allow the creators/developers too much leeway/creativity. Killzone 2 is no different, i'm still shooting guys in the distance regardless of if they are friend or foe cuz I can't tell the the difference. This never happens in a game like Gears of War or Halo...i wonder why?! Anyways watching the intro movie I was pleaseantly surprised....it was very stylish and well made plus I liked a lot of the camera positions as they were a little unique aswell.

So started a single player campaign on veteran and thought it was weird how the title screen and menus kept sorta shaking or moving around. Just before the game finished loading I figured out it was actually the sixaxis controls and immediately I thought 'hey cool' and then it dawned on me 'NO!! WTF!?! Not cool, cuz I bet this gimmick will pop up ingame!". I don't know if the gimmick did make it into the game but throwing grenades were all wonky everynow and again and when I had the controller dead straight/still in my hands then the controls were fine so i'm lead to believe the grenade throwing requires you to keep the controller still? I may be wrong as the few times I did throw grenades it was in very chaotic situations and I was struggling with the controls the whole time. They just felt wrong, the sprint and crouch buttons are placed stupidly and they are some of the worst sprint and crouch animations i've used. Crouching you may aswell just sorta bob your head a bit because it doesn't seem like he crouches down very far making the move basically useless in the time I had with the game. Sprinting is like a stupid dash forward and it kinda has it's own momentum and timing. It really feels like a guy running foward at full pelt but I relaly didn't like the way it felt as it really only seemed uselful for very long distances and not very useful for short quick dashes to pick up a gun or run for cover etc...in other words it was completely useless in my time with the game.

Now to the graphics....the sole reason i've bought the game in all honesty because had the reviews of the graphics been 'great' or 'good' I wouldnt've bought this game....the sole reason i've bought it because of the 'best ever' claims. To say i'm dissapointed is a HUGE understatement. I was scrutinizing them from the get go and right off the bat I was like "is this it?!" Honestly the character models didn't even look as good as Gears of War 1! I was looking at the black dude in the cutscenes....Rico I think he's called....yea imo Cole Train (Gears of War) shits all over this guy for detail! The bump mapping was severly lacking and all colours looked really washed out and the geometry was uninspired.

The first level did go a little ways towards impressing me, again the camera angles were great if a little jarring (too many quick cuts) when descending down into Helgan or whatever their planet is called. Touching down I though..."righto this is where all the impressiveness starts cuz I hear it's more a sum of parts sorta thing with the graphics." Ummm....nope! Couple of cool explosions and nice particle and smoke effects but again not impressed. It does look like it has lots of potential but the only places that reared it's head was in completely dark areas. The lighting is really the only part of the graphics that impressed me. It was awesome fighting in the couple of corridors I got when i'm actually the opposite when it comes to FPS. I love big open spaces with massive epic battles but in Killzone 2 it was more fun to be fighting in dark corridors against 1 or 2 enemies.

The controls were really shitting me by this stage! EVERY GAME IN THE WORLD SHOULD HAVE COSTOMIZABLE BUTTONS!!! Leave the fucking sticks alone, just let us choose our buttons! I had a choice of about 6 or 7 configs which were all SHIT imo!! Who the fuck swaps around look and move?! WTF!?!?!? Crouch and run were bad enough but clicking in the right stick to zoom was really throwing me off. Is it like this in other games? I've played so many FPS i can't believe I can't remember which button it's usually on, i'm sure it's not on L3...anyways I really think that has more to do with the Ps3 controller than it does the actually controls for zooming in cuz the Ps3 controller just flat out sucks for FPS! I don't know if it's the reason I had such a medicore experience with both Resistance games but it just doesn't feel right in my hands, the sticks are too loose, the controller is too light and doesn't fit in my hands snugly like the 360 one. Is there anyway to use the 360 controller on my Ps3, I know that sounds like a stupid question but with a dongle or something? I think it would really change my experiences with FPS games on there.

I am looking foward to getting more into it because there were a couple of scripted scenes where I destroyed a bridge and the front of some aparment block and they looked awesome, so I wouldn't mind seeing more of this sorta stuff even though you can tell none of it was dynamic, I died about 4 times on that bridge part and everytime it was blown up in the exact same manner. Great looking but if it's scripted I don't wanna know. That bridge should be blown dynamically each and every time. I'm sick of scripted chaos, the whole environment needs to be programmed to anticipate any destruction and not only the parts the devs want you to destroy. Very dissapointed as the comments I had read regadring the destruction were saying it was very random and detailed.

I seriously cannot express how much this sux. I prefer my Ps3 to my 360....I always have and time and time again this generation they've disapointed me. Honestly when the game that's impressed me the most on the system remains as the original Motorstorm you know something is wrong. The 360 is regularly coming out with games that literally blow me away and even if the Ps3 does get these games the superior version is always the 360 version.

I may aswell face facts and just admit the Ps3 sucks for games imo! There i've said it! I'm looking foward to God of War III still and anything team ICO come up with but i'm not believing the hype on any other Sony game. As far as i'm concerned the 360 really is the only must-own system this gen for games and I can't help but think if I had never bought a Ps3 this gen it really wouldnt've had an impact on my gaming at all (movie watching yes), infact I might've actually saved myself a pretty penny. I don't blame sony for this, infact it's primarily microsoft's fault for making the 360 generic same-old sorta hardware but then rushing it out the door to steal market share. The tactics seemed to have worked for them cuz even my fave shmup devs are jumping on the bandwagon.

Imo the 360 is the winner this gen when it comes to gaming, as a business the Wii is probably the way to go and for movies or driving a proprietary format it would be the Ps3, but we all know the main reason we all peruse this forum and it aint for business or movies.

In my honest opinion the original Halo shits all over Killzone 2. Seriously what a dissapointment. I really did want this game to impress me but sadlyt it's done the complete opposite and that is to make me believe the Ps3 really is 99% hype!

Is there a special edition or anything I should be aware of? Not really planning on getting the special edition but if my mate at GAME can sell it to me for around the same price as the standard then I might aswell go for that.

You're tripping mate, the whole point of my post is to point out i've already paid $80 for a game that is worth 1/2 that amount because the 2 extra chapters are 2 chapters that should've been there in the first place but wasn't cuz the game was rushed out the door to make money quickly. So they coded the stages for one mode and didn't for another....hmm what possible reasons could exist for that?! Basically the game is adding absoulutely ZERO fucking content!!! How can you be dumb enough to even WANT to pay for that!? So like i'm saying, it BETTER BE FREE because i've paid for the game and all future content as far as i'm concerned because I didn't buy the game under any sort of impression that it would basically have no more than 2 guns and 4 stages which are exactly the same, same structure, same length same weapons, same every fucking thing except the textures!

Like I said, nerds will keep sucking valve's cock so why should I get what I paid for, the PC nerds are happy, that's all that matters right? Valve can suck my cock, i'm not buying their shit again!

Yes I had a blast in the first couple of weeks when the game was new to me, the guns were fun to use and it was fun to play....cuz it was a new game. But it took about 2-3 days for it all to start feeling very repetitive and stale and I haven't played it since. I can't remember the last time I paid $80 for a game that lasted me less than a week. Infact NEVER have I done that!

Edit: Oh WOOWOWW survival mode! Same as every other game mode/map/fucking whatever but instead you're stuck in the same stupid room!! Yayay!! Fuck this I should pay another $80 for this! I feel so privellaged.

I'm actually really into the old S4's, the one's with the Twin Turbo 3.0Litre V6 Engines. Man those are sexy as. I've only ever seen one for sale, it was about $35k but it had 160kms on the clock so it was too old. The RS4's are alright, i'm just not into V8's. I like my engines small and turbo charged. Just love that 'tuned' sound they make.

Yea I really like my Passat but the body roll is getting too much. Thought about getting a sway bar at the back but I just wanna get rid of it cuz it's front wheel drive aswell.

I've always been into Rally, i'm not a fan of any other motorsport and while watching Rally I always preferred the Evo's so I guess that's why i've always been partial to them. Like I said though I will settle for a WRX because i've never owned one and they are very fun to drive. I too am also fearing the change in ride comfort as the Passat is very smooth compared to Japanese cars in general not to mention rally bred which are lower, always have much harder shocks and low profile tyres.

When you talk about the sludge monster is that the oil sludging problems the B5 platform had? My engine kinda had the same problem so i'd always get the oil changed at about 3000kms but about 2 months ago I gave my car to a mate and had my engine completely overhauled (only got it back on the saturday that's just been), got rid of the sludging problem, got new pistons and basically got the whole thing reconditioned. It sounds awesome. The new pistons are a little thicker aswell so i'm getting a bit more power.

The one obstacle for me is traffic. As much as I love driving manual it's just not an option in peak hour sydney traffic. I can drive manual no problems, i've been doing it for over 15 years, my license is manual and it's kinda like riding a bike, you just never forget.....but lately i've been dabbling in sportshift or tiptronic gearboxes. My dad's new ZR6 Aurion has an awesome sportshift gearbox and my Passat's one is also very nice, has low ratio 2 and 3 gears which are great for taking off.

Probably my fave aspect of the whole game. It's used so sparringly that when you hear them (very good remixes of the background music from the World Warrior/The New Challengers) it's nostalgia at it's best. I just LOVE Blanka's and Sagats. Don't think i've heard Ken's yet but that's another one of my faves. I think you hear them all some very faintly in all the anime cutscenes before/after. I so wish for a BGM select cuz that would absolutely blow my mind.

As far as I know almost all the games have had some soft of sound test, either hidden or unlockable so if it isn't in this one it'll get added.

Man I so want the other costumes, Balrog & Cammy's look awesome! Cammy's an awesome character like LeonJ said, the different colours also look real cool on her character model cuz of the tats on her legs. Blanka's different colours are heaps cool also.

Does anyone know when the other costume packs will get a release?

Haha how funny, Sunday I was playing (well chatting on Xbox Live while we played seperate games) with Zarnoss and he was complaining that it was hard to find games and I said 'WTF?' just play arcade mode, you won't get past the first VS screen.

Also the Japanese and English versions of that song on the title screen....IT'S THE SAME GUY!! I guarantee it! Lol!

Anyways i'll post mine again. Currently in the market for a new car even though I just got the pistons bored out on this one and replaced with bigger ones. Got the engine reconditioned but the shocks are getting pretty loose on it and i'm looking for something a little newer. Looking for another turbo charged cuz even though they are petrol guzzlers I love the accelaration they give.

I was also interested in a B-Spec Liberty (not STI tuned) like a B4 but I really want a Evo VIII or up. I will settle for a WRX but i'm dreading the insurance on both of these and I am kinda more partial to European cars. Anyways still another good couple of months for me to make up my mind. Too many Subarus on the road and I like a little bit of individuality so I am also interested in the JTS Alfa or an Audi but the Audi would be basically the same as the car I got now which is:

^ Basically alternate the two buttons once you've gotten the first move out of the way. Jump in heavy kick and then heavy kick again and then hammer away at that button along with another kick such as medium of light. Basically it's the same as doind an EX version of her thousand kicks except you have to start with heavy kick button a fraction faster than the other button (the medium or light).

When you jump in the move doesn't have to go through the full animation so that's why it's easier to jump, plus you can start buffering that thousand kicks when you almost land.

Wow, I can't believe the amount of people complaining about Seth. I clocked the game yesterday on 'Very Hard' but the stupid game only has achievements for 'Medium or Higher' difficulty?! ! Wtf? Medium is piss easy. Very Hard wasn't really that hard (not as hard as hardest) but I still reckon I should've gotten an achievement for clocking it on Very Hard without continues. Oh well, I guess it's time to try and go for the 'Beat Gouken on Hardest difficulty' which not only means clock the game without dying on the hardest difficulty but you can't loose any 1st rounds and get about 2 perfects and 3 ultras (depending on how many rounds are set....best of 3 rounds is that particular requirements I posted).

Seriously....with Seth just keep jumping in and doing combos, it's that easy. Sure he may catch you with that stupid dragon punch of his but it's the most solid option imo.

I also unlocked all the characters. Gouken is pretty sweet....his Ultra combo is this HUGE 3 hit dragon punch! Man it looks awesome, the first hit buckles your stomach, the second one is on the jaw real hard and the third one launches you. The second hit just looks so awesome, try it on the different characters....I especially liked smashing Fei Long with it cuz he looked a little like John Arbuckle (of Garfield fame) when you smack him on the jaw.

I wouldn't call it a reworked parry system because when mastered you cannot take damage while parry, the focus attacks it almost like 'rage' you cop the hit and dish it back out but the longer you charge both mediums the stronger the attack so you can potentially take a big hit, dish out a big one of your own, knock them to the ground and follow up with a combo. The system is actually crap imo.

As awesome as Parry's were they were too hardcore imo cuz the pros could basically parry most of your attacks and that's impossible for some peepz.

I need to get the hang of focus attacks aswell but currently because of the shit control options I have it's fucked! The anger/rage from using shit controls on this awesome game is just unbearable!!!!
