Re: WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH! (1 year ago)
You mean welcome back to our NEW home?
Dirtyness, germs, filth. Germaphobia. I hate things being dirty, I hate public toilets, phones, keyboards, ATMs, elevator buttons, floor...just public.

And then there's home - I have a pair of thongs specifically for wearing to the toilet. They are my toilet shoes. I have to put toilet paper on the seat if I need to sit down on it.

When I met my fiance and we got together, man did I have to adjust. I was fine in my little 'clean' world. We are moving in together in a month too.

On another note - bug spray, aerosol sprays, cars with smokey exhausts. I cant handle the thought of breathing the fumes in. If someone sprays bug spray, I need to go straight outside. I could be in the middle of something at work and will have to get up and walk out.

I shudder at the thought
What speed improvements?

Good job patching the servers, people have still been leaving.

Up until this thread was posted i truly thought there was a chance, albeit slim, that the Palgn community could pull through and possibly have a prosperous future. (once all the **** dies down and things get back on track).. However with this latest display of @#$^3jh 4%H#$I by Roland it is obvious that there is no hope at all.
**** you dickhead.
And you just realise this now?

The reactions you see are justified.
Double post
Im guessing he wants to know how you know his name?

I think he got you mixed up with Furianshi.
Yeah, that. Sorry Fyu.
Please don't come to the new place Fyushee or however you spell it. You stay here and look after the kids.

Indeed.
Re: Mass Effect 3 (1 year ago)
Playing through ME2 again in preparation. This is my third go round, and its been glitchy. Moving in cover without my doing so, major clipping, characters disappearing and reappearing during cutscenes..

Seems to be ok at the moment but I was slightly confused.
Tough talker here? Just in time!!

Can you make out your name is Roland?
I think a dedicated goodbye thread is a great idea. As long as people don't think that it is cheapening their own goodbye.

Of course, let it roll. I think we're past caring if things get messy here.
Oh man, and what a journey it has been.

We'll keep it moving though, wherever we all end up, you know?!
Oh, he is serious.
Thought I'd better show face.

I don't think you'd win with your purple get up Ads.
I think its more as people get older other responsibilities come up, and gaming takes a back seat. But it will never die.

If I could start a revolution I would.
I like Nismo.
I'm not fussed about you iPods battery life. The PSP Vita seems to suffer the same fate (3 to 5 hour depending) as the 3DS and it's barely acceptable. The only thing is we don't have a choice, that's what we get.

Why should I have to look at other options to extend my battery life when I know I won't get to charge it for a while? I never complained when my DS went flat, as it lasts so long in the first place.

2 hours battery is considered portable?
There's the other point Leon. I want to get one of those Nyko battery extenders for it (going to Europe, need as much battery as possible, not that I should have to justify it I guess) which would not work with the cirle pad pro either.
Im thinking more of going out on trips/bus/etc with it. Hardly something you can just chuck in your pocket..
For the future, I can see how it will need dual sticks/sliders, and an improved battery life. Unfortunately, I'll buy one so I can play the games that require it. I am not buying that ugly, bulky add on though.
Now that I've got one, I'm looking forward to see whats coming for it, games wise. They better not release a 3DS Lite soon though.
The unit looks awesome, but Sony's first party games just don't appeal to me. I may look at one down the track, but it'll probably suffer the same fate as my PSP - barren wasteland.

Thanks Sony, quite impressive, too typical though, i'll pass.
Finally got a 3DS last night. The system is very solid. I'm really impressed with it, and Mario Land is great. I wish there were some more GBA/SNES games on the Nintendo store, but hopefully that will come in time.

Awesome to join the club. I havn't done much with it yet, do you add friends for online play in the future or?

And is it worth joining Club Nintendo?
Re: Gaming Bargains V2 (1 year ago)
Thanks Cody! I'll go have a look.

I swear I saw them on the shelf at dick smiths last week for $160. I must have been tripping.
Re: Gaming Bargains V2 (1 year ago)
Anyone know of the best 3ds bundles going round at the moment? I'm going to go buy one tonight. Preferable with Mario land if possible.
So if you aren't a part of he early ambassador program, can you pay for these games on the 3ds store?
Gears 3: RAAMS Shadow expansion

A very worthy expansion. You play as a different squad, full of stereotypes with a very philosophical squad member who is highly annoying. Gameplay wise, it's back to the gears of old with grub holes, but with gow3 weapons and updates.

It's great fun! The real bonus is playing a General RAAM, but it's just to easy. He is a walking tank, next to invincible. If anyone's interested in the Gears story then you must play, it gives a fair amount of back story.

The only downside is they haven't included any more new multiplayer maps. It's not cheap dlc, so I did expect more.
It's a great idea actually, it's just the fact id have to actually put it into practice.

At least it will help add more definition too. I'm only short, sitting at 65kg. Has anyone tried any of those bulking powders?
I've got poor genetics passed down from my mother. Love handles can be so hard to get rid of. Even jogging isn't working for me. I stretch well, have proper running shoes suited to me, and still manage to hurt myself. My muscles and achilles are so tight after, regardless of how much I stretch.

Getting married in March, so I'll look at a gym then. At the moment I've got an awesome weight set at home, but that won't be coming with me. I love doing my weights but my metabolism stops me from bulking, unless you consider a small belly bulking.
