Marcus interviewed me at last year's Free Play, he's a nice bloke icon_smile.gif
While they're at it they should cancel the 360 version and concentrate on PC icon_razz.gif
Seriously, you're deluded if you prefer playing strategy games on a console instead of a PC.
Wonderful game. Well worth my time and money.
I know that feeling >_>

Spanish and French are already in NA NTSC releases, so that leaves only German and Italian for PAL translators to add.
Don't forget French, that's in the mix for PAL too.
...I think you may have misread what I said icon_razz.gif
French is translated for NTSC software already (French-Canadians).

are the total console sales american or world wide numbers?
They look to be American.
Was a good day, but I'm confused - I looked out for you palgn guys all day and didn't see anyone wearing palgn shirts! icon_sad.gif
Morten Brodersen is an interesting guy, he gave an almost 3 hour lecture at my university (University of Ballarat) yesterday about the game industry. Very informative!
And of course, Steve Fawkner was as awesome as ever icon_wink.gif
Great game, but certainly not perfect. No game could be labelled as such.
TIP: Don't play on an CRT SDTV, you'll get headaches from trying to see through the shadows and reading the tiny text!

What qualifiers will be held for WCG? I'll go if its CNC3. I missed out last year even though I was the best in Oz at the time. The guy that won was a lucky noob unfortunately.
CoD4, Guitar Hero III and a few others I think. Not sure about CNC3.

No, it's etiquette. If you are going to list a link like that, tell someone! It's just rude mate to make money off people without their knowledge of it. If you want you can have a link in your sig. But if you list on the forums in a post, state that it is an affiliate link.
I'm laughing my arse off. This is the internet. Get over it. You're just jealous you didn't do it first icon_razz.gif

Luke EDIT: My edit indicates yes it is against the rules, keep your play asia link to your signature.

mayo EDIT: Riiiiiiight.... I'd apologise, as this sounds like a sore issue for you guys for whatever reason, but I'm not actually sorry ^_^

You'd be insane buying locally!
Nice slip of the affiliate links there.. icon_annoyed.gif.
Is this against forum rules? If so I wasn't aware. Just making it easier for people wanting it.

ACMI always have great things like this - I'm going to Game On tomorrow.
I won this and the DS version in a Nintendo AU competition. It's really fantastic. I've only been using the classic controller, which works perfectly.
If you can find it between $35-$50 then I highly recommend grabbing it. Much more content than the original XBLA game, so I think that warrants around a $35-$50 price.

Wouldn't be so bad if the one game we get a week was actually worth playing...
Lords of Thunder is worth playing... I assume you've never tried it.
"SNES speed" loading times is the stupidest thing I've read today. You can't compare loading on a cartridge to loading on a disc/hard drive.
RED ALERT THREEEEEEEEEEE.
I'd explode if they announce it.

Ships.
Doesn't mean there are 10 million in homes (it's about 8 million).
This is what I don't understand. People are buying them, but for some reason there's this sentiment in certain circles that's very much anti-sony, despite the numbers showing that they're doing much better than MS did in their first year without any real competition.

Yes, they are Shipped numbers, the same Shipped to retailers numbers Microsoft release for the Xbox.

So, lets extrapolate your completely randomly made up claim of 8 million PS3s in homes as an industry average like so:

80% of shipped stock sold, 20% on store shelves stores.

Applied to the Xbox shipped figures you get 13.2 million Xbox 360s in homes, oh wait, with a 30% failure rate, that'd further reduce the number of working 360s in homes to 9.24 million, give or take half a million due to the reduced 10% failure rate of newer stock.

See, if you throw the numbers around enough, anything can be made to look bad.

Not that I'm against the 360. I have one too, but I'd prefer they have some healthy competition. The 360 has too many flaws, much like Vista, for me to honestly want Microsoft to dominate the commercial side of my favourite past-time.

I will however speak out against ignorant corperate fans.
Sigh.
Pretty sure I didn't completely make up the 8 million sold claim.
As for the rest of your ramble, I'm not going to bother replying as it seems to be an attack on 360 owners, and does not apply to me. But hey, good try.

Those darn ignorant corporate fans!
I don't think it was an attack on 360 owners, but more or less an example of how badly you can spin something if you're against it.

Sony gets a TON of flak for no realistic reason aside from shooting themselves in the foot a few times. They're doing well for their first year, especially at the price point they have.
Spin? All I did was point out that they haven't sold as many as they've shipped... I'm not against the PS3 or anything. You guys are getting all defensive for no reason, and it's pretty sad.
(Also, thanks to David for doing the research and pointing out that my 8 million sold statement wasn't completely randomly made up and actually pretty accurate!)

Nextgen wars figures?

The ones that tick over in "real time" as you watch them but they claim they're sourced from stats released monthly or even less frequently. Heh, if that's accurate, I'm the pope.

Ooh, look, you added a pretty photo, a copyrighted photo leeched from another site, which not only breaks this site's TOS but istock's TOS as well, and violates both US and Australian copyright law. You're my hero.
Erm.... right. Sweet burn, guy.

That would be the all platform figure.
How is it that Sega can do a PAL conversion relatively quickly, yet Nintendo take 6 years to do the same thing for their own system's games?!
Crap trailer. Zero hype.
PC only please!
Red Alert 3, please.

"I can officially confirm that there won’t be a demo this year." He went on to suggest that Sony will not be showing off any more of the game in 2007, but did say that it was a lot of fun, having sampled 30 of the planned 50 levels for the final version of the game.
What a prick!! Rubs it in everyones face...
Edit: Prick is censored? Lame.
Seems like Tantalus have done a great job with this. Congratulations to them!
