Screenshots do not even begin to do this game justice, neither do videos for some reason, but once you see it on your TV its a different story. It's a Wii game so its not going to match 360/PS3 stuff but it still looks great. Both Prime games still look decent today and this looks better than the pair of them so take that as an example of what to expect.

Yikes, I'm actually pretty close - about 132 or 133kg, I think. It's not that I'm really fat, it's just that I'm 6 foot 7 and well, big:

Having said that, I've already tried the board in person, and it seemed pretty darn sturdy.
136kg = 21.5stone.

There's no way you weigh 21 stone icon_razz.gif
Yeah, the picture I put in probably didn't do the game any favours, it doesn't quite show the same depth or atmosphere it does when viewed on my 360 for some reason. I've changed it to a nice rain one now instead icon_razz.gif

i can understand the inclusion of slipknot, but i would have preffered Duality over Before I Forget
Gotta disagree with that, Before I Forget is much more interesting to 'play'. Duality is probably a better song but the guitar just hangs around doing nothing in between the chorus parts.

Can't wait anyway, the soundtrack on paper has to be the stongest yet icon_biggrin.gif

Unfortunate. Still waiting for a massively awesome game to tip me over the edge and make me get a Wii. Possibly Metroid?
Having finished Metroid 100% I would describe it as 'massively awesome' icon_cool.gif Look out for the review in a few of weeks icon_smile.gif

And I agree PGR4 looks really meh. What killed it for me was that they recycled the PGR3 cities. Id rather one extra new city over the four from the old game. Also Im not even interested in Motorbikes...
But PGR4 has 4 more cities that are entirely new to the series: Shanghai, St. Petersburg, Quebec City, Macau as well as the Michelin Test Track, so what's the problem?
No Bad Religion = no buy

A Tony Hawk game doesn't seem right without a BR song icon_sad.gif

Most places in the UK are doing £399 bundles with 2 games, 1 blu ray movie and an extra pad so it has essentially seen a price drop already whether Sony want to admit it or not.
Soul Calibur 2 is the only real answer. (unless you count Smash Bros as a fighting game?)

Other than that you could try one of the Mortal Kombat or Naruto games?
The demo was a step by step lesson on how NOT to make an FPS. Horrible controls and laughable AI made this one of the most hideous games I've ever played. I'm so glad I didn't have to review it, I don't think I could have faced playing the 'final' product icon_razz.gif
Anything by Bad Religion or Ash would be nice, both have plenty of songs that have a perfect mix of interesting guitars, drums & vocals.

As much as i would LOVE to see Muse or Killswitch Engage in Rock Band I just can't see it happening due to the vocals. Each song in Rock Band can be sung and I can't see 99% of the buying public coming anywhere near to matching Matt Bellamy's or Howard Jones's vocal icon_razz.gif That's one thing Guitar Hero III will have over Rock Band I feel, variety.

I was wondering if you will be reviewing the PS3 version seperately? If not, will there be any detail on the differences between the two. I assume the story will be identicle, perhaps the graphical and sound quality diffences could be noted?
As far as I know the only difference worth mentioning is the PS3 version has hours more video footage (due to the extra disc space) while the 360 version is the only one to use a slight motion blur effect when looking around. If we get sent review code we may cover the PS3 version in a couple of weeks but seeing as they're essentially identical I wouldn't bet on it. Either way I won't be buying it twice just to review again anyway icon_razz.gif

Re: The Darkness (5 years ago)
You're approaching the game wrong.

- It's not an all action FPS. Big gun fights are well down the list here, it's not what the game is about, just like Riddick wasn't.

- Use 'the darkness' to your advantage. When in darkness mode you're very hard to kill and will remain that while while you remain in the shadows, I repeat, WHILE YOU REMAIN IN THE SHADOWS. If you're running out into the light the added defence the darkness offers you is practically uselss.

- Take out lights to make a path of darkness toward enemies, if you can get close enough you can deliver a close combat execution which greatly saves on ammo.

- Eat as many hearts as possible, the more you eat the sooner you'll get to use the extra darkness powers and the less you have to rely on guns.

- The Darklings are useful. They may not kill often but they distract the enemies attention allowing your to use your creeping darkness power without getting hurt yourself.

Hope that helps and that you can enjoy it as much as I did icon_smile.gif

The US version is out this week, so just wait a few days until Play-asia get that version in stock and then order your PS3. Or just get Resistance, it rocks anyway icon_biggrin.gif
Just got finished watching Raw and it still doesn't seem real icon_sad.gif

Benoit was my all time favourite wrestler who I followed for as long as I've followed wrestling, his death has probably hit me as hard as anyone I don't know dying could icon_sad.gif

On a side note, Vince was on Raw. I'm so glad they dropped that 'Vince is dead' crap, at least something good has come out of this.
Re: Forza 2 Car pics. (5 years ago)

Now I really must start work on an Ouendan car...
1 - Ico
2 - Virtua Fighter 4 Evo
3 - Shadow of the Colossus
4 - Okami
5 - God of War II

That was horrible, I had to leave so many good games out. MGS3, Devil may Cry and Guitar Hero should be in there too really but I kinda see that as a 360 game now icon_confused.gif

It's a different kind of stealth - one grounded more in realism, where guards won't walk right past the four glowing lights.
I hate this complaint of the Splinter Cell games. The lights on the goggles were never actually visible in-game, they were only there so the player could see Sam in darkness.

Chris - Is the prestige region free? or did you actually buy it in Aus? thanks
I live in the UK with a US PS3 and a Region 1 copy of The Prestige so I couldn't tell you for sure but I don't think it is region free as it's a Warner Bros film and I believe they're all region locked.
