Thanks for the lists.

I just started to read LOTR after I started this topic and i'm half way through the second book. So far so good.

I liked Terry Pratchett's 17th Discworld book and i've bought the first two for after LOTR.

List 'em please icon_eek.gif
All my friends have one and i'm so jealous icon_sad.gif

If I trade in all my things(PS2 + 9 games) i'd be able to get a GC and around four games an extra controller and a memory card.

What do you think?
OMG how could I forget the brilliant Virtual Springfield. That game was the game of kings.
Has anyone played ISS? (1 decade ago)
If so tell me if it's worth getting over any of these three (WH Smiths have a three for 2 offer), which are Mario Advance 2, Sonic advance and Golden Sun.

thanks.
I always thought he could crouch!

That's probably what happens to your memories if you haven't played something for 10 years icon_redface.gif
Full Throttle rocked btw icon_twisted.gif

You missed out the Discworld games. I only played the demo's on the Mac but they seemed good wnough.
Re: What should I get? (1 decade ago)
In that case get Advance Wars.
No battery save icon_sad.gif

I don't buy games without them
I think Hyperworm needs some prozac icon_razz.gif

Seriously they don't look that much different to the last version. Although it's not what's in the graphics that matter. I hope there is more things to do in the game. After completing Pokemon Blue there was nothing to do but level up.
Re: What should I get? (1 decade ago)
You should get them all. They're all great and worth breaking the piggy bank open for icon_wink.gif
I can't get the forum to refresh properly. How do I fix that?
Unfortunately it doesn't look like the UK price will be reasonable icon_sad.gif
I'm not getting too excited about Rune.

After all it was made by the same people who did the incredibly rubbish Eternal Ring on the PS2.
Re: Your PC Greats (1 decade ago)
Red Alert 2
Star Craft
Escape From Monkey island
Grim Fandango
And the Broken Sword series

Re: Avatars anyone? (1 decade ago)
Yeah, sure, that would be great.

How many $poons do you want for it?
The demo is rubbish. The castle (walls) aren't even the same colour as in the game.
ICO appreciation thread (1 decade ago)
This game is quite possibly the best game I have ever played.

I nearly broke down in sadness and almost tears at the end of the game, maybe it was because the game was actually ending but the ending is really good, and really sad aswell. icon_cry.gif It's probably had a bigger emotional impact on me than any other game.

I won't spoil the end for anyone but it's really nice and sums up the experience perfectly.

I'm playing this through the second time now but i'll sum this thread up by saying this game is perfect.

Anyone else feel great sadness at the end of the game and did you like it as much as me?

And for those who have not yet have the pleasure of playing this work of art please consider buying it.
Re: Avatars anyone? (1 decade ago)
Also make it animated. Has anyone played ICO before?

Like the old movies where picture is slightly fuzzy and burn spots come up on it. It has to be in flash of course.

I'm willing to trade a LOT of spoons for a really good one.
Re: Avatars anyone? (1 decade ago)
I'd like the sig I have now but with the letters RIK with the same font of text and the thing stretched to the size of Sonicwired's one.
Re: Favourite Music Type (1 decade ago)
I like everything. I don't have a favourite type. Although I despise modern pop.
Re: Big Brother... (1 decade ago)
I loved last years UK big brother and am looking forward to this years one a lot.
Although I want a portable version of SMB:3 I hope Mario Advance 3 isn't it. I want a new game perhaps a portable Mario Sunshine.
I definitely want it. I'll get my dad to do the tricky bits.
heh look at Volkh'a avatar icon_lol.gif

Londres
Re: N64 vs. PSX (1 decade ago)
N64 all the way for me.

I loved the multiplayer games like Diddy Kong racing, Goldeneye, Perfect dark and countless others. The PS although a very nice console did not give me the same multiplayer experiences that the N64 did.
