Even though I'm not as involved in the community as some other people here, judging from that pastebin, the fate of palgn is unknown - it could be gone tomorrow (getting a tad dramatic, but who knows when server bills are supposed to be paid?)
If suddenly the site is gone, I don't really have any contact with anyone from the forums outside of the forums so that would kinda suck to be suddenly cut off from everyone - and I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way.

So my SS present actually arrived last weekend, freakin' couriered to my house on a weekend!? Sorry it took me so long to post this, but needless to say I LOVE IT!!!!

Then ze gifts!!!!!BAM! In the right corner we have a lovely Mario figurine.
This is so cute. Mario mushroom filled with Candy.

Disappointment: Earthbound 64 cancelled. (I'm very much aware of Mother 3, but I really wanted *that* game)
Wish: Pokemon MMO.

That was such an eloquently written message it could be an article all of its own. Even though I don't know you very well, I admired your presence from afar (in a non-stalker way... kinda... maybe) and I really respected what you did for this site.
I actually had a moment reading the Sonic Generations review where you see through what is being presented and you can feel the passion behind the visual (like when you see a ballet and the dancers almost put you into this trance - terrible example for a gaming website, but you get what I mean). It saddens me greatly to hear that we will no longer be privy to that passion, but I sincerely hope you find another avenue to channel that passion into.
I completely get leaving on the high of a positive review. In the short time I wrote for PALGN, there was truly no feeling like a great, positive review. I fully support to thought process behind that, but I will definitely miss your contributions to the site as both a writer and a forum member.

Modern Warfare 3 Hardened Edition - not so much trying to find a bargain as trying to find a place to preorder. My preliminary searches online aren't really indicating which stores have this edition up for preorder or if they do, if they have any available still.

I'm playing on the 360 and it's buggy as hell.
When the game begins, I can't move for a good 10 minutes and then when it begins, I'll take about 5 steps and then end up magically back at the place where I first began - like some sort of time loop.
It's completely bizarre and renders the game unplayable...
Not the best introduction to BF...

So if you get the Hardened Edition, you don't have to pay anything extra to get the full Elite experience, yes?
And as for elite, you mention the word "premium" in the article - does that mean there are different levels of Elite membership? (like there is Silver and Gold Xbox Live?)

- So glad this is on the Wii U (my new TV makes my Wii look like arse)
- Don't care what the haters say, I'm loving that this is going to have a major online component (albeit optional)
Looking forward to hearing more about this, and hopefully the Wii U's touchpad will be integrated a whole heap.

Just got back after a week of filming in Toowoomba for a grad film and realised now I can focus completely on mine - huzzah!
Also when I got home in my room my cousin had left me a present for filming his wedding, which was both awesome and unexpected.
And I still have my Super 8 prize pack to look forward too. I also really need to see that movie.

They needed to reveal more IMO. I know they love withholding information, but all we've seen/know is that the console can do one of two things (dual monitors/inventory system etc) but what about the specs, release window, ANYTHING!
They could get away with it a little with the Wii, since that was (for all intents and purposes) a brand new idea, but a touch screen is old news. I want to see what they are doing to make it their own/new again.
Also no Animal Crossing at the presentation!? Travesty. (I have seen the separately released trailer though, looks great)
