The film features elaborate (and spot-on) parodies of mean-girl reality shows, YouTube nonsense and fatuous news reports but the people are thin and the plot meanders a bit.
Where's the video? the link is taking me to the homepage of Youtube.
New The Last of Us Trailer (10 months ago)
I'm one of those who are intently waiting for new developments of Naughty Dog's The Last Of Us. A new trailer has recently been released revealing a new character. I should have embedded the video here but I don't know how. So here's the link to the page I watched the video: http://www.gamearena.com.au/news/read.php/5114104
Re: HDMI cable (10 months ago)

Hello everyone,

I want to buy a HDMI cable for my 360. Is the official Microsoft one worth the extra expense, or will a cheaper generic imitation one work just as good? If so, where can I get one from? I'd rather buy one in person rather than online.
you should have gotten your cable already. Well, I've also been into this dilemma a year ago and unfortunately, I got to choose a cheaper cable. 2 months after, I had to buy a new one.
For my first PC, I bought almost all of the parts at MSY. The second one was from PCCaseGear.
Re: HP TouchPad (10 months ago)
I was planning on getting HP Touchpad originally, but when I came across with Samsung Galaxy Tab 7-inch, I fell in love with it.
Grand Theft Auto 3 was a technical marvel ten years ago. Seeing the experience all over again on a tiny screen evokes the same feeling of awe. It’s going to take a lot of retries and patience to beat Grand Theft Auto 3’s story and auto-aimed big battles (if at all), but the open world is truly legendary, today and a decade ago
Re: Skyfall (Bond 23) (10 months ago)
CASINO ROYALE was so good and well-produced that it could have easily made a start to the James Bond films altogether (that is, if they hadn't been made starting in '62);

QUANTUM OF SOLACE was generally OK; I don't know what to expect of this as I haven't seen it.
At last, a comedy show that is actually funny! Good comedy is a serious business but the secret is to make it look as if it hasn’t been taken seriously at all. It’s a tough balance to achieve, but the inclusion of comedy staples such as nazism, violence, ‘sexism’, ‘racism’ and some downright silliness help to make this a winner.
Re: House - Season 5 (10 months ago)
The finale isn't about to make me tune away. The writing is consistently funny and sharp. Despite my issues with certain aspects of this season, House remains one of the ten best shows on television.
To provide gamers a better platform to choose what they want, Valve launched Greenlight on Steam about a couple days ago. This will empower gamers to choose which games to be put on Steam and which are not. Is this feature helpful? Please share your thoughts.

The best card played by Eidos Montreal is the core of the stealth gameplay, and the vast array of augmentations can change drastically the way the player can solve the most intricate security situations. Ok, the graphics and the combat probably aren't the freshest beverage of this summer, but for 20+ hours of high quality hide and catch, you can drink them anyway and leave the complains for the inevitable DLCs.
Re: Mass Effect 3 (10 months ago)
In conclusion, this game has not let the series down. Opinion will differ with the actual story, but with the amount of different options available in the game, that is bound to happen. It just can't be stressed enough that this game will only give half the pleasure if it is played without prior Mass Effect experience.
Re: Asura's Wrath (10 months ago)
The game itself is a great experience but once you experience it, it gets stale. Trust me, once you beat the campaign there's nothing else to to do and you won't want to replay story mode. Other than that it is a good game. I wish they focused more on the gameplay than the cinematics. But, if you're looking for a game that has an engaging story, Asura's Wrath is for you. Rent don't buy, because this game is not worth your $60.
Re: BlazBlue (10 months ago)
I only played BlazBlue Continuum Shift II which is an upgrade of the first game for PSP. Unfortunately there is no online mode, and the graphics seem to be worse.
SoulCalibur V is a great game with amazing visuals but above all what makes the game super fun to play are the new mechanics, easy to pull out but deep and perfectly devised in the legacy of the franchise.
Re: The Amazing Spider-Man (10 months ago)
I saw the very tall poster of peter reflecting the long legged spider on a brick wall, back during Oscar week. It's a stunning visual, very well done. I figured that if the person who picked that as an ad had anything to do with making the movie, I would be well pleased with their choices. Glad to hear it is so.

(I also didn't understand the desire to make yet another spidey origin flick, but I also rather detested the Raimi film. Having a replacement isn't necessarily a bad thing - maybe that was the motivation?)
Re: Malicious (10 months ago)
reminds me of that one game you guys were showing the 3-4 part trailer for a few months back where you were the guy that looked really girly (jrpg inspired definitely) and you were fighting weird monsters. i SERIOUSLY cant remember the name of it. seemed like it had to do with God and Angels or something...idk..anyways the art style of this game reminds me of that game icon_razz.gif
Re: HOTD3-4 coming to PSN (10 months ago)
This game The House of the Dead 3 is suh-weet except it is very short the game can be easily beaten in a half hour. On the plus side after you beat it the full version of The House of the dead 2 becomes unlocked which makes for great replay value. I wish I had two Mad Catz Blaster's. The House of the Dead 3 is worth every cent you put into it
Re: Twisted Metal (10 months ago)
I have been a fan of Twisted since TM2 and have been waiting for a TM as good or better than that one. I am happy to say, this game is amazing and has exceeded my expectations! Keep in mind, this is a game that has it's root in gameplay first and foremost and that's the way it should be with games.

After all, they're games, not work and they are supposed to be fun. The controls are dead on and there are tons of options on and offline. ESP added bots to offline single-player which I love. I hate playing with whiny 14 year olds online most of the time, so this is perfect for me.

There are so many options available including being able to add your own soundtrack to cause mayhem to. There's even a custom paint shop for the vehicles! I bow to you David Jaffe and Eat Sleep Play. You have made my year.
Do you still play Tetris (10 months ago)
I can still remember that the very first game I've ever played on my Atari more than a decade ago was Tetris. It was nothing complicated only that as you go a little further into the levels, the speed variance changes. It was time-consuming but challenging.

I stopped playing Tetris despite the fact that new versions are being released year after year for every platform. Just last week, I was tempted to play Battle Tetris on Facebook with my friends. Then that old familiar feeling comes back and I'm addicted with the new version on FB.

How many of you here still play Tetris?

Anyway, I've searched on Google about the history of Tetris and this is what I've found: http://www.gamearena.com.au/shop/infographics/tetris/

The Tetris game is as old as I am.
I finished Angry Birds Space on my Android yesterday. lol
I'm waiting for more updates. I never finished the first Angry Birds, though. Perhaps, that's the one I'm gonna get myself busy with. I gave up playing FPS games as they are so time-consuming.
Re: Borderlands 2 (10 months ago)
I will buy this, I'm pretty sure of it. So far got 80 hours in on Borderlands.
Re: Assassin's Creed III (10 months ago)
Wishlist: - Go back to the Brotherhood graphics. The character models in Revelations were horrifying. - Make it lengthy. II length or GTFO. - Don't add stuff just to add it. Den Defense, Desmond Missions, bombs, just meaningless, unnecessary add ons.
Re: Trials Evolution (10 months ago)
Trials has cleverly adapted to its environment and become even more of an everyman's game. It's still incredibly challenging, but the hill to the hardest levels is less steep. The thrills are more thrilling. Track sharing and multiplayer make it more communal. Rarely have I played a game that better caters to all walks of players.
Re: American Nightmare (10 months ago)
By rights, Alan Wake's American Nightmare should be utterly underwhelming. The core game is changed not at all from its parent's lukewarm style, the story is thin and hackneyed, hell it even has live-action cutscenes. But somehow, the gameplay is challenging enough to keep you clicking that left mouse button and listening to that weird, not quite Rod Serling voice telling you to survive until morning just one more time.
Re: Forza 4 (10 months ago)
This car looks awesome. I could have bought it for even 2mil credits had I continued playing with Forza 4. I've never gone as far as having a beautiful car like this. She's just awesome.
Re: Modding GTA III (iOS) (10 months ago)
It's a great article with detailed steps and modding was actually made easy in this tutorial. But is it really worth your time and effort? I don't think so.
Re: The Amazing Spider-Man (10 months ago)
I don't particularly like Spider Man movies especially with Toby Maguire playing the role. I hate that some nerd at school was bitten by a spider and he eventually got his power and destined to save the world. Maguire didn't deliver what was expected of him. But I think Garfield can do.
Re: (HBO) Luck (10 months ago)
There isn't a performer in "Luck" who is not, at some point, given scenes of real power and true beauty, and none of them disappoint (newcomer Condon is certainly someone to watch.)

Virtually every episode of "Luck" has moments of rapture, some created by the adrenaline rush of the races (which have never looked better), many emerging from moments of good writing, fine direction and even better acting.
