If she only broke up with her boyfriend 2 weeks ago, I think it's a bad idea to ask her out right away =/ do you really want to end up in a rebound relationship? Give her some time!
Girls use rebound relationships as a way to protect themselves from pain. It's some kind of freaky transference of feelings. At some point, she will realise that she doesn't actually feel anything for you and it WILL be devastating. Or perhaps she will just want sex. Oh, yay, woohoo, sex, but it won't mean anything else and if you properly like her then it won't be enough.
On the flip side though, depends how long she and her boyfriend were together. One rule I've heard says a month for every year they were together.
In the meantime, talk to her. Be a friend, hang out. Give her some breathing room but let her know, SUBTLY, that you're interested.
IF YOU JUMP ON THAT RIGHT NOW IT WILL END BADLY.

So, my younger sister came to stay with verv and me over the weekend. This is cool, my sister is pretty fun and generally pleasant to be around. However she tends to be a bit careless, notably with my belongings. Today, after working 7+ hours a day on top of my volunteer work three days a week and while still recovering from fairly major surgery, I had a chance to clean for the first time since she left. I walked into my bathroom and found liquid eyeliner on the floor, next to a giant puddle of foundation. Next to that was my $80 straightener and one of my belts, pretty much covered in foundation. My $300 straightener only had some foundation on the cord, but it means my cheap straightener may not be usable anymore. I'm more than a little irritated. For all you people who don't care about straighteners, she also left verv's graphic novels pretty much bent in half. Including his personalised copy of QC Vol. 2. They were here for about 24 hours before she arrived.
When I called her today, she pretty much blew it off, saying she "didn't notice" about either. This is frustrating enough, but what really shits me is that she just doesn't understand why I'm upset about it.
The little shit is a fucking shitty little pain in my fucking arse. Fucking shit shits me.

When people hear my accent and say "you're English? Oh I love London!" I have to stop myself from bitch slapping them upside the head.
