3 days ago I started to play Minecraft. I had some people convince me to play it. Now I found all the videos and blogs amuzing for sure, but I didn't originally think the game would be worth my time. It just didn't seem my sort of game.

Well . . .

I have been having a blast! I sort of feel like it is wrong. Here I have all these beautiful games with awesome graphics, and I am playing Minecraft. I am jumping when I get a creeper on me, menawhile an hour before I was shooting zombies with an utter lack of emotion.

I am mining like nuts! I do love mining games(darn harvest moon corrupted me). I just need more blocks so I can build!

It's like a giant world of lego!

Anyways . . .

Who else got sucked into this game?
Did you get brought in by friends, or did you find it on your own?
What do you do with your time ingame?
I gave in and started to play Minecraft 3 days ago.
I sort of want to see that as a Quilt.

Awesome job, by the way.
"We chose Sam B, a rapper and blunt object specialist, although there is also the mohawked Logan (a throwing specialist), Purna (a firearms specialist) and Xian Mei (a sharp object specialist)."

Makes you want to be some kind of specialist.

The meshes they did for the zombies look cool, so many options, better than seeing 1 of 16 default zombies.
There is a simulator in Second Life that has much of the same feel as this game.

It looks really cool, makes me want to watch Robocop.
Just got back after a few days away. I want to thank you all for posting. I at least have some options now, that I wouldn't have had otherwise.

Seems like it would be better to buy off the net than in person. The deals are better, with what store sites I've checked so far.

**EDIT**

I will vote for you all for helping me out, as soon as I'm able. It was all good advice, as far as i can tell. Not sure what I'm going to pick yet, but I will let you know when I do.

Watch out - lego is are more expensive addiction then cocaine
Hmmmm, I will have to try and stay away then, not that I know anything about drug addiction.

I can see where it would all add up though, they make so many cool sets. I really like the underwater series they made 5 years ago.

I use to have the whole pirate series when I was like 8. My sister bought it for me one year for Christmas, cost her $200, which was a lot for a 17 year old working at a comic book shop.

I am sort of sad now that I didn't fight more when they got packed and shipped away.
Re: From Dust Review (1 year ago)
I'm really excited to try this game. Whenever I hear anything about it I just sort of want to jump up and down in glee.

B&W was so buggy, but I did really love it. It'll be nice to enjoy a newer version of the same concept.

Any game where you get to be in godmode can't be all that bad.
Wow, what a deal! I might just have to splurg on myself.
I've been watching Season 4 of Trueblood and Lostgirl.

Lostgirl is a canadian TV series, it finished it's first season, and got picked up for another, which will start in the fall. It's based off a comic. The main character is a succubusm so i don't think you can really go wrong, haha.

I was watching Game of Thrones too. I think they did a great job of keeping to the book.

Yep, Pink Horrors:

I actually wanna paint up an older army I have after this, their colours are bright blues and yellows.
But do you have to go according to their actual colours? Couldn't you do blue horrors and an army of hot pink soldiers?
I have to agree. I never use the traditional these when painting warhammer models.

I have never seen the Chaos Warriors hot pink, buut I have seen them done with a pink highlight colour. So they were painted black, silver and gunmetal as a base, then had all the detailing in pink.

I did some Dark Elves aqua and orange, made them look like jungle amazons.

Anyways i sort of ran with that.

Everyone is so talented, those were painted up really well.
Re: Lego (1 year ago)
Last week I wanted to buy dominos, now I want to get LEGO. I use to have a whole bunch myself, but my adoptive mom made me give it to some of my younger cousins, saying I was too old for toys. I ended up buying a whole bunch when I left home, just for kicks.

Never too old for toys!
I want to shop for something that has a bit more storage space for my PSP downloads, but I'm not sure what to get.

What do you guys use, and have you had any issues with it?

This arrived in the mail today - new podracer set. BOHYA
That is great!

I just got some fake hair to make cyberdreads with.
I loved playing Tales of Symphonia, I'd totally play a second one on the Wii.
I've been playing LOTRO mostly. I just haven't felt inspired to buy anything for my lappy lately. The new "From Dust" game looks good though.
This is going to sound so silly, but Harvest Moon:Mineral Town, for the GB SP Advance
