Re: PSN Welcome Back offer detailed (2 years ago)
I'm a bit disappointed that there are no recent games for pS3, as the latest one on offer is Dead Nation, which came out about xmas. Having said that, at least they are all worthwhile. Unfortunately I already own all of them , so no freebie for me.
For those interested in Quest for Booty. Just beware that it is only a very short game, maybe 3-4 hours and was released to bridge the gap between the two PS3 R&C retail releases. It is good though. For those trophy hunters, it does not have them either.

Re: The Walking Dead (2 years ago)
Do any of you guys know when this is hitting Oz? Anybody heard anything? Just wondering if it's worthwhile waiting or ordering from Amazon now.
Re: crysis 2 (2 years ago)
I'm really not exaggerating, I had no issues with performance at all in the single player. I have a late 2009 360 60gb
Re: crysis 2 (2 years ago)
I have finished it on the 360 and think it's the best FPS single player campaign I have played since Bioshock. I loved every minute of it. One thing though, I had no performance issues at all playing on my 360. It ran as smooth as butter. I did install mine to the hard drive though.
Re: Nintendo 3DS General Discussion (2 years ago)
Picked mine up from EB this morning, price matched K-Mart for the $288 and picked up Rabbids 3d for $38. Yeah, the 3d is super impressive. Rabbids 3d is a standard 2d platformer, but it does look rather pretty in 3d. Also had a quick go of face raiders. Again very impressive for what it is
Re: Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (2 years ago)
eurogamers review is up. An 8
sounds good.
sounds good.
Tron on 360 or ps3 (2 years ago)
So has anyone picked up the new tron game yet. Can't find any reviews for it. The video of gameplay I have seen looks quite good, but it really looks like it could go either way
Also, doesn't this game already have like 1000 cars, does anybody really car about getting 6 more
Re: What game are you playing? (2 years ago)
Currently playing Fable 3. Found it difficult to really get into at first, mainly due to the insane amount of bugs, but once I did I have been hooked. It's a remarkable game really that you can overcome so many bugs/bad design decisions and still really enjoy it.
I also downloaded the new Rage game from ID software on my ipad last night. far out is it impressive in the graphics department. The gameplay reminds me a lot of the Club the bizarre creations came out with a few years ago. And thats not a bad thing

Re: MS Kinect. Total Bargain. (2 years ago)
I picked up the Kinect bundle, Dance central and kinect sports yesterday. I only played kinect adventures with my wife for about 45 minutes last night, but I was amazed how accurate it was. Also it was a cinch to setup. After the 45 minute session in which In which we played through the 1st badge or whatever it is in Adventures, I was absolutely knackered. It is very true what they say about space though. We have a large lounge room and with two players I had to move the couch way back to make more room. Can't wait to try out the other games tonight.
Re: Your 2010 and Beyond Game Wishlist (2 years ago)
For me for the rest of this year I'm really looking forward to.
Assassins Creed Brotherhood- Loved both of the other games and this one should be no different.
Need for Speed -Burnout. Loved the Burnout games (except for paradise) and loved the original Need for Speed games.
Epic Mikey- Love good quality 3d platformers and this looks like it will fit the bill nicely.
Donkey Kong Returns- Same for 2d platformers
Kinect- Have got it preordered, looks interesting and is something that I can get my family into.
Tron Evolution- The gameplay videos for this look really cool. Platform action adventure. it could go either way, but I have my eye on it.
Sly Cooper Trilogy- Loved them on the PS2, gladly play them again with upscaled graphics and Trophies.
For 2011 I already have a few things I'm really looking forward to.
Uncharted 3- The 1st two are in my top games of all time, can't wait for the 3rd.
Resistance 3- i did not care for the 1st game, but loved the 2nd.
Infamous 2- One of my favorite PS3 Games and the new one looks
epic
Nintendo 3DS- Super excited to see what it looks like, can't wait to get my hands on one.
Bulletstorm- This looks crazy over the top for a shooter and seems just fun.
Zelda skyward sword- New zelda, hopefully this wont be the only reason to switch my wii on in 2011.

Re: MS Kinect. Total Bargain. (2 years ago)
Nah, not a MS rep, just quiet interested to see what happens with kinect. I actually have all 3 consoles. Interested in this because it could be something really different..and I'm all for trying something different.

Re: Kinect Deals (2 years ago)
It was in a Target cataloge that came out 2-3 weeks ago.
Re: Castlevania LoS (2 years ago)
Finished this on the weekend. One of the best games of the year imo. Loved the art direction, the variety of locales and the amount of different enemies and bosses. Loved the combat (and I'm not a God of War fan) I know it wasn't set entirely in a Castle, but for me it did feel like a castlevania. I think they did a superb job of evoking the pre SON castlevania atmosphere. Also talk about bang for your buck. In this day an age when a good action single player game rarely goes over 10 hours, and this doubles that
Re: Kinect Deals (2 years ago)
Target have a pre order deal for $179
