ESA (Who run E3) are backing SOPA, many big names such as Screwattack wont be covering E3 this year unless the ESA remove there support for SOPA.

Honeybee Megadrive controller X2 - $4each via Savers
Driver - 50c via OpShop
Silent Hill 3 Promo - 50c via OpShop
I have wanted the Honeybee controllers for a while, I honestly think they are better than the Sega branded ones.
SH3 is the full version, just a promo copy that was sent out to reviewers, there is meant to be roughly 500 of every game (Or so I read on the SH forums).
Re: Which was the last game you finished? (1 year ago)
Broken Sword II Remastered (Which I finished like a week ago) is even worse of a 'update' than the Directors Cut of the second, just stick to the original version of II, while I think the Directors Cut added enough content to warrant another playthrough, it was hardly ground breaking stuff.
I still think the original is the best in the series.

I picked up Star Ocean: The Last Hope International for $8 from Myer Melbourne CBD, they literally had nothing worth going for other than SO.
Re: Duke Nukem Forever - (Steam) giveaway!! (1 year ago)
Congrats to the lucky 3!
The game is a lot better than reviewers gave it credit for, no it didn't live up to the 10+ years of expectations, but no matter how good it could have been, it never would have anyhow.

Awesome, put my name down!
I think I might be one of the few who actually enjoyed this game (Borrowed it off a friend for the Xbox 360).

Skate 3 - $2 via Savers
I have been thinking of picking this up for the past few weeks after failing to find Skate 2 for a decent price, or in most cases at all. I was ready to go out and buy it for $26 from Kmart on the weekend, but luckily went into savers which had it in there Xbox/PS2 pile which was all marked at $2 a piece. I love when the world works like that.
Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins - $4 via Flea Market
I never played the second Super Mario Land, excited to get into it and see what all the fuss is about.

Broken Sword II: The Smoking Mirror - Remastered - iOS
While it is of course no where near as good as the original, it is still and awesome game that helped me pass some time over the new year period. It is much more linear and easier than the first installment. Picked this up for free over the holiday period.
Tiki Towers 2 - iOS
I had played bits of the first one and saw the second one for free during a promotion so I had to get on it, I really enjoyed it. For those who have not played the series they are a physics based game where you must destroy blocks without a certain block touching the ground, great fun and the general thing I look for in a iPhone game, short little bursts of entertainment.

Bastion - PC
I thought this game was brilliant, a breath of fresh air from what is starting to feel like generic game after generic game. Great little action/adventure with the best use of narration if I have ever seen in a game.
Battlefield 3- PC
The story was pretty average by all accounts, it looked amazing, even on my GTX285. I thought the story telling and structure was very similar to Call of Duty: Black Ops.

I would prefer to take my chances on the 7 coals then my chances of having 7 entries in the 'grand giveaway'.
Also I am pretty sure that the whole no more coal thing is referring to when you forge 7 coals you wont just win a single coal in return.

Are those Mystery Dungeon games getting released in English? I thought they had gone the way of the latest Ace Attorney game.
Re: Christmas giveaways (1 year ago)
Excite Truck, while it is hardly the great game is the world, it is the best to me because when I first got my Wii (which was just before I moved out of home) I spent ages playing it with dad.
In terms of a quality game, I would have to say Super Smash Bros, the single player was a complete and utter joy, even better with a mate in co-op.

I would love to see and RPG that has a really deep fighting style (Street Fighter style) battle system, in which as you level up you learn new moves and the ability to execute longer combos.
Final Fighter II Turbo!

They also do not have Season 1 or 5, as I told someone else who wants me to pick them something up in the area, I am unable to until Monday at the earliest, by when I highly doubt there will be any stock left (As theory said, stuff is flying off the shelf).
Re: Your newest purchase (1 year ago)
Hey, sorry for the late reply I was at work all day. Amazing that you found the store, and also awesome. I picked up the last Season 2.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - PC
I found the game really enjoyable and a step up in terms of how well a story can be told when compared to Oblivion. I did find the gameplay a bit repetitive, but I always end up getting bored of open ended games. I finished the main story and as many sidequests and I found interesting, for not I will leave it, but may play it a bit more in the future.
I found how much of a heavy impact having shadows enabled took on my PC a bit of a let down.
I also found the final boss fight a bit of a let down, nothing special, pretty much the same as all the dragon fights before it, just I had 3 people with me, making the fight even easier.

Magicka - PC
I completely loved Magicka, the atmosphere, the original and fun gameplay, all of it. I played through the entire thing with a buddy and for the most part it made the game easier, but the second last level, the lava part, I have never been so frustrated in co-op in my life.
A real challenge and a real treat, cant wait for the new DLC campaign, finally something worthwhile, only the Vietnam DLC is worth money.

I finished Dead Island, it was a pretty big let down on all front as it was a game I was looking forward to for such a long time.
And a few Skyrim screenshots.

I wonder if it'll just turn into a discount voucher....
