EB guy called me up late yesterday afternoon to tell me that my copy of Transformers: War for Cybertron together with pre-order bonus finally arrived. I gleefully trotted (bolted) to the store and pleasantly requested (cried with joy) to pick it up.

Had to go to the missus' parents for dinner, but what little I played of it last night was fantastic. Had some horrific screen-tearing issues with my TV though, so I might have to move the PS3 to the PC monitor for the time being.
Did your pre-order bonus come sealed with the game or was it an out-of-box addition? I went to pre-order a copy the day before release; instead they gave me the game there and then but they didn't have the pre-order bonus (character unlockables). Disappointed.

And HOW is everybody picking up cheap not-so-long-ago-released games from GAME? I went to the one at Eastland (VIC) and they had crap all. I work 9-5:30 every day so got no time during the week icon_sad.gif Would love to get in on some of these amazing deals.

For anyone that's interested, I bought Transformers: War for Cybertron on Monday from EB @ The Pines (VIC) and it's showing up in their system for $59. Cheapest price around for the new release. (Figure it's gotta be the same for all EBs??)
I saw it in JB for $59. I was struggling to read the price labels and had to squint a lot but im pretty sure it was $59 cos I thought to myself 'this just came out didnt it?'
just picked mine up from eb and they charged me full price icon_sad.gif
Ouch. I dunno why they gave it to me at that price then. Perhaps take it back and get it from JB?

Yep, you're right. http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/game/xbox-360/transformers-war-for-cybertron-bonus-comic-book/513756

*sigh* I wouldn't mind that comic icon_sad.gif EB didn't even have the unlockable characters I went there for to get day before release.

Went in to pre-order the day before release. Turns out they had it in stock and selling early, just no character unlock codes which is what I wanted icon_sad.gif

Edit: Ohh..also picked up a 360 Energizer Charging Station for $37 (lowest price around). PS3 ones were same price, not sure about Wii. And el cheapo black 360 batteries for $10ea (half price).
