There are minor inaccuracies in this. The tall white figure doesn't extend your scarf, it gives story background and changes the pattern of your robe.

The swirling white vortexes dotted around the game extend your scarf by one "length".

You end up with several lengths of scarf and find yourself "leap-flying" from one "scarf recharge point" to another.

I was really lucky when this happened to me. the PS3 was 16 months old, but when I rang Sony and asked them about it, they agreed to replace it anyway!

I played the SP game to the end, but found the combat too slow and the thought of grinding a character in online play doesn't really appeal.... is the online play worth it?
TDU2 has been delayed until Jan 2011 too.
