I picked up a Hori EX2 a few weeks ago for about $80. Learning how to play on a stick was hard work as I've never used one before, but the layout is simply so much better for fighters. A stick is well worth the investment if you play a lot of them.

Managed to get into a pretty sweet room this afternoon against a bunch of Americans. Walked away with more wins than losses, so it's all good. Definately identified the characters I want to get better with now though.

Just finished the story mode - quite good. Rather surprisingly I enjoyed it, which must be a first for a fighting game. I'm getting a hang on the mechanics now as well, meaning that while I still do suck I can tell I've gotten a bit better at the game.

Anyone up for some games on Xbox Live sometime soon? I never seem to see anyone online with either player or ranked matches whenever I search.

PAL = sucks.
ABout the boxart, that was an idea of ArcSys Europe, they went to NeoGAF and got them to make a boxart. The dude who won did a pretty sweet cover with Ragna, but he was asked to change it later on to Noel, so that's what we ended up with.

I have also found out that the JB Hifi I preordered from isn't getting their stock in until either Monday or Tuesday. Fairly annoyed that I won't be able to play on the weekend.

I was out today and saw that GAME Wollongong had at least 2 copies, one each for X360 and PS3. I'm guessing that all GAME stores should have their copies in now.

I have mine preordered fro JB Hifi, and I'm still waiting for a call.

I've been looking forward to this for almost a year, ever since the US release. Can't wait to finally give it a go and see what the hype is all about.

Bought a Hori Fighting Stick EX2 recently just for this as well... I've never used a stick before in my life, and I'm absolutely terrible with it. Hopefully there will be others online who are around the same level for a few weeks so I'll have a good chanceto improve.

Looking forward to seeing you guys online!
