Well, definately buying a 3DS now. D:
Ordered Pokemon White and Final Fantasy IV ~subtitle about how it's got everything~ from ozgameshop, cannot wait for them to arrive.
Also been playing a bit of Borderlands and Dissidia, both are extremely enjoyable c:
edit; Definately grap Recettear while it's that cheap. Dungeon exploring is really fun. And... well if that's not for you, you get the satisfaction of making a little girl live in a box.

My sense of humour is questionable.
Listening to For Those Who Have Heart, A Day To Remembers second album. I definately prefer their older stuff, What Seperates Me From You, was, in comparison, terrible.

If this happened, would it be over Wi-Fi or Shoddy Battle? Or Pokemon Online or whatever. XD
Re: What game are you playing? (2 years ago)
Just started GTA4 on Xbox 360
Ugh. I'm so used to Chinatown Wars and Liberty City Stories, it's SO confusing. Only done the opening mission but the camera is annoying. Fighting also isn't that fun. Going to have to spend a long time on this one.

Havn't posted in here in a while... so progress report... on things. Mostly RPGs. :'D
Valkria Chronicles 2;
Absolutely loving this game. Currently at a roadblock with the March story mission, but so far I've poured eight hours into this and i have no intention of stopping. Music and voice acting (besides Avan) is awesome. I love the art style and just everything.
N3: Ninety Nine Nights
Just started this last night, it's... weird. I chose to skip the tutorial as most games tell you what to do as you go. So... I started it and... ew. Voice acting is terrible, the gameplay is fairly average, but the music is great. XD;
Pokemon Heart Gold;
Restarted this this morning. I picked Cyndaquil, and quickly added a Sentret and Pidgey to my team. Battled my way up to Violet City and Bellsprout Tower. Captured a Rattata here, and after fighting the Sage(?) at the top of the tower, Cyndaquil evolved!
I moved to the Gym next. I used the Gym Trainers to give Sentret some experience, and before I knew it, he was at level 7. Falkner was a pushover, going down after a few Embers and Quick Attacks. After I recieved the Egg from the Aide at the Pokemart, I made my way down to the Ruins of Alph. Before I head to Azalea Town I'm going to get Pidgey to evolve, and catch a Geodude and possibly a Wooper. Hoppip is also a possibility.
ok i'll shut up now.

Today is the last day of school holidays. Going into grade nine. I'll miss waking up at eleven, going to bed at like two and playing too much vidya.
Instead I'll be waking up at 6:30, going to bed at 11 and playing next to no games.
/end whine

But yeah, really excited for KH3D, looks like the 3DS will have some great JRPGS

The place where I live is flooded in :[
The bridge on one side out of town is broken from the Mary River, and on the other side we have a gully about three metres deep full of water. Oh, and last night we had no power for around eight hours. Some parts of our roof are starting to leak and it's just ew. yay for living in rural qld! >_____>

Might grab the PSP ports of Disgaea in that case, admeister. :3
Played a little Avalon Code at a friends. Heard Contact was a bit lousy?
Need to get Infinite Space and the M&L's, as well as Nostalgia. I own the first Luminous Arc, will go back to it after Rune Factory. Thanks for the list though, it's given me some good ideas on what to get

I think Mystery Dungeon is a Roguelike? So more of a dungeon/survivalist type game.
One thing to consider about the Might and Magic game, if you have a 360/PS3, it will also be coming out as an arcade/PSN game in 2011.
The Suikoden game has similarities to the traditional Suikoden games, such as collecting 108 stars, but it is set in a different game world focusing more on parallel universe.

PALGN really needs a multiquote feature >____>
@Jahanzeb:
Will probably pick up DQ5 and SMT:SJ pretty soon. Is Mystery Dungeon like the Pokemon ones? Didn't like those at all :s
TWEWY is one of the best games on the system, really regret selling it :\
Will give MightandMagic a look too, I vaguely remember someone talking about it :s
@Scrav is that like the Suikodens on PSX/1? :3
oh god TWEWY music <3

Vesperia wasn't that difficult. There are a couple of tough bosses, in particular that one that appears in the demo except it's way more tougher in the full game.
Looking for a reccomendation for a DS RPG; Played and beaten Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 3, KH358/2 Days among others. WOuldn't mind grabbing a DQ or FF4, but more after something less mainstream.
so... indie...
also have a PSP - but got VC2 and Jeanne D'Arc to beat on that.

Once I pick up a Swapmagic Abyss is probably the first thing I'll grab. My favourite PS2 RPG is definately Kingdom Hearts though -- that could change when I play DQ...8, I think.
Re: Memoirs of a PAL RPG gamer. (News/releases/etc) (2 years ago)
A little off the current topic - but whatever! :3
Really enjoying Tales of Vesperia and Valkyria Chronicles 2!
I think I'm about ~2 hours into Vesperia, about to go into a forest. The graphics are freakin' superb and I love the voice acting - anyone whose beat this, how long is the main story? :0
Just beaten the January mission in VC2, the game is a little weird. I like pretty much everything barring the voice acting @_@;
So, yeah.
Oh, and getting RE:Coded day one probably, will post some impressions :3

Re: Your Top 5 Games of the Year 2010 (2 years ago)
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep
Pokemon HeartGold
Bayonetta
Professor Layton and the Lost Future
Final Fantasy XIII
Really can't put these in an order. Only beaten three of them (BBS, HG and Bayonetta), but the other two are great. Birth By Sleep answered a lot of my questions, and had an amazing story and cast.
The original Pokemon Gold was one of my first games, and when these were announced... I spazzed XD; HG was amazing, put in around 200 hours and only just beaten Red. >_>;
Bayonetta was amazing - the combat was crazy and I didn't mind the story. Boss battles in the middle of the level were also strange and fun.
I havn't beaten Layton yet, but at the time of posting I'm around two hours in; It's really fun, and the voice acting is superb. The puzzles are challenging, but not to the point where they're frustrating.
I'm up to about chapter four of FFXIII, it's great
The music is great, the graphics are good too. The voice acting isn't THAT bad, but Vanille... my god. XD;
