I was only in Thailand around Christmas.

Mrcool37 has your bases covered for Pantip Plaza and MBK. Pantip is computer central whereas MBK is more cheap clothes and mobile phones.

Do keep in mind that original brand name clothes are generally cheaper in general over there (so long as you aren't too big since they only stock clothes for the average size of a thai person).

If she is going to MBK and Pantip, then she could easily stop by Centralworld or Paragon malls as they're closeby.
Reminds me of that shit movie with will smith where he gave away his body parts for some really vague reason

^^ Locally or order on-line/ebay? i tried to get it at one stage, but the place that had it wouldn't ship outside of the US.
Got a US friend to post it to me. Cost me $75US in postage alone for both.

Either use a forwarding company or try going here and asking nicely - www.collectorsedition.org (it's quite a trustworthy forum where people regularly forward stuff to each other internationally).

Ladies are expensive. You need to set a good amount aside to ensure their happiness.

Or to cover your ass when you've been in an argument with her and need to make up for it.

Couriers serve a different market and price-point though.
This.

Basically businesses and those who are sending something that are outside the limits of a normal Auspost package. I think that's 20kgs and above which is maximum weight?

I deal with couriers at my job all the time and have booked things through DHL, TNT and Startrack. They require more paperwork to be done in general and obviously cost more too.

Ever had a preorder arrive late? Or one of Australia posts lovely "Attempted Delivery" cards even though you've been home and awake all day? We and several others have discussed this and they make a habit of filling those damned cards out in advance and not bothering to attempt delivery.

Well don't stand for it, direct your complaints here
Auspost won't do anything. As they have no real competition (bar couriers who are way more expensive), they have little incentive to improve and really can't monitor their contractors.

I don't even get notification cards when I have stuff arriving to begin with? I mean, if your package/parcel doesn't fit in your mailbox (espeically if you live in an apartment), you're going to have to go down to the post office anyway.

As thebigm said, get stuff delivered to work if possible. Then you know you will most likely not have to go down to the post office to begin with.

505 Games/Gamestreet right here people.

They've released some great PAL RPGs and SHMUPS though

- Ar Tonelico + Atelier Iris
- Raiden 3

But the rest of their catalogue is mostly horrendous and normally unavailable/hard to find in AUS.
Probably a few games from my PAL PS2 collection

- Wild Arms 5 LE (LE only came out in France, game itself was never released here in AUS)
- Raw Danger! (ITA)
- Le avventure di Lupin III: Lupin la morte, Zenigata l'amore (ITA only)
- In fact, a lot of 505 games (Google their company - they release a lot of obscure shit, especially on PS2)
This is pics of all my stuff. It's all PAL (except for one comp prize) so enjoy! I like rare and obscure games as well so chances are, I own a game that you've most likely never heard of?!

Re: Dark Souls (1 year ago)
I've just started the game and just beat Taurus Demon. Trying to get to Undead Parish but keep getting my ass kicked.
Can't believe how more difficult this game is compared to Demons' Souls.
I've died more times already than I ever did finishing the first game.
Futurepress guide is quite handy though.
Re: Coll Ed. Unboxing (1 year ago)
They're fine depending on camera quality and ratio of pointing camera at box/point camera at person's face.

General tip though - Always mute the video.
I import for 2 reasons

1) It's cheaper
2) More importantly to me personally, its the only way to get games/CEs/accessories that are not available in Australia. A lot of the games in my room were never released/hard to find locally hence why I rely on online sellers or contacts from overseas.

Just go to their customer service page on facebook and see how many other people are complaining about no receiving anything
Still didnt arrive today unfortunately.

I know Zavvi have shit customer service but after they've sent the item out and unless you're trying to get a refund off them, transit time is essentially out of their hands?

I dont blame stores (unless they haven't dispatched it yet), I blame the postal services.

Zavvi is starting to piss me off profoundly, ICO shipped on the 29th Sep, has'nt shown up

Dark Souls shipped on the 5th Oct, hasnt shown up yet.

They had to refund my shadows of the damned because that never came..

Never buying from the again, im going ozgameshop from now on.
My Dark Souls was shipped same time and hasnt shown up yet either. It mgiht today though!

But still, blame the post, not the store?

Two Worlds 2 Royal Edition - $40
How.... Price does not compute ...

I spent $160 on this last year for a copy from Germany. And as far as I know, it still hasn't been truly released in the UK yet, let alone Australia...

That's one ridiculous bargain.

Fixed.

I've found www.amazon.co.uk is consistently cheaper if you order over 25 GBP (AU$40) worth to get their free shipping
Be wary about the free shipping, especially if your items are pre-orders or not in stock. It will push back your entire order by months if you're not careful.
Re: Online Retailers (1 year ago)
I've never understood why Play-asia is so popular. Their shipping prices just kill everything for me...

Now sold out. JB still have a lot of them around so thats probably your last chance to pick up one of these via retail, I think.

I wonder if we will find out who has Ezio's baby in this game (for the ancestor line to continue). I was hoping it would be Rosa from Assassin's Creed 2, Ezio seemed to have a thing for her but then she just disappeared and there was no mention of her in Brotherhood. .
Read the Brotherhood novel. It'll tell you a little bit more about what happened between Ezio and Rosa.

embarrassingly enough my entire knowledge of henry fords career comes from Assassins Creed telling me he's a templar.

There's now a video game called "Bravely Default: Flying Fairy".

We, as humans, have failed.
It makes little sense now but Square-Enix tend to name their games after certain events in the plot.

Duodecim, 365/2 days, Birth by Sleep.

All nonsense until you've reached a certain point in the storyline or finished the game itself.

What will you do when they (undoubtedly) release MW4? icon_razz.gif
Patiently wait until the Hardened Edition goes down in price due to over-supply and then buy it.

Not really. It was a preorder bonus from Micromania (GAME) in France. I had to get someone to buy it seperately on ebay FR and send it to me.
