It was an awesome day, everything went perfect without any hiccups, and bubs didn't even cry during the ceremony she even smiled at the priest when he picked her up icon_smile.gif
i've actually noticed a big speed increase for the past couple of weeks, i haven't had to wait longer then a second for a page to load for at least a week, and this was even during the peak times when threads and posts were popping up everywhere over the last few days
all those stupid ads on youtube with audio, im trying to listen to music and all i can here is the ads
This is by far the saddest moment of PALGN's 10 years, you are one of the few members on this site i always took the time to read their posts, even though i never really post/contribute to your posts i have always had alot of respect for them.

take your time to get your happiness back you def deserve it, hopefully you come back or come on the rocket Island_Wolf you're to valuable a member to the community to loose

My impression was he was referring to falcon getting banned, b-zero & co having a go at ex staff, and i assumed he was saying some of the ex writers and mods having so many unkind things to say about Roland was unprofessional

Just for the record, We have bought the present, we got my cousin a framed picture of hawthorns 2008 premiership side, a neoprene bangle nothing fancy but we put an engraving on it to to make it a little more personal and we have bought a nice frame and we are going to put a A4 size pic of my cousin holding Liana on the day (which is this Sunday btw)

I decided Cyph was right the gift vouchers for adrenalin isn't personal enough for a present for Godfather

does anyone know why i cant sync more then 2 Wiimotes to my Wii, i am trying to get a third synced but it won t let me do it, it just keeps flashing for a while and then eventually when it stops the other 2 that are already synced drop out and have to be re synced, its not a faulty wiimote because i have alot and it happens on all of them.

With how everything's worked out and at the rate i post im not gonna hit any sort of milestone, I was hoping to hit 1000 posts by the end of the financial year

I don't know what Beville's is but I wouldn't trust the other two with scissors, nevermind making jewellery.
I only went to those jewelers because i was at highpoint shopping centre when i saw that post from Cyph and to be honest until i read that i had never heard of bangles for men and i never heard of neoprene

I went to all the jewler's like zamel's, prouds, bevilles etc I'll make the trip into the city tomorrow to check out the Italian jewelers
My family is a bit different these days, even though we're a traditional family ever since my grand parents passed away even my aunties and uncles have lost a bit of importance in the traditions we used to have, and even more so for me since my parents have also passed away so the traditional requirements for me are almost gone.

but on a positive note, when i went to the shops yesterday i found a framed picture of Hawthorns 2008 premiership winning side ($100) im almost defiantly going to go with Cyph idea of the neoprene bangle ($60-$100) <----Is that right Cyph? I couldn't find any more expensive then that and im going to give him a framed picture of my daughter (free).

and that will leave me with $300 to burn, night out at the strippers perhaps????? i can tell him behind closed doors so no one else in the family has to know icon_smile.gif

This isn't really in the right spot but i didn't want to start a thread for it, can anyone give me advice on what to look for when buying a video camera, i've been told to look for one's that have 3CCD sensors but i dont know much about that, is there anything else to look out for?

i have a budget of around $500-$750
@Cyph - thats actually a really good idea i went shopping tonight, there's a good chance i'll be getting one of those

@A13x - he doesn't have a SLR camera so i cant do that

@Crescent fresh - He really is a top bloke and if my financial position was a bit better at the moment i would of set the budget alot higher then $500, I bought him a PS3 last year which he never plays

@Duckula - That originally was exactly what i wanted to buy him but i called my aunty and she told me she got him an expensive watch for his 21st, and he never wears that so i don't want to get him another watch his not going to wear
^he def would love that especially see as im an AC Milan fan, but knowing him he really will light it up in front of me and then i'd have to kick his head in for it icon_smile.gif

Hi all

I need some help so buy a gift, its my daughters christening in 2 weeks and my cousin is the godfather and i have no idea what to buy him

His 29 years old, his the type of person that has everything he wants or if he wants something he just goes out and gets it, so i have no idea what to get.

Other then Italian soccer i have no idea what his interests are, he doesn't talk about anything else, the problem with that is his favorite team is Lazio and basically any sort of merchandise for them you have to get from overseas so i dont have time for that but he already has alot of Lazio merch so thats pretty much out of the question.

I was thinking of getting him a gift voucher for a day in a Rally car or V8 supercar but after talking to his brother we dont have much confidence in his abilty to drive a manual car, he recently went to thailand where he did white water rafting and skydiving so im not keen to get him something his already done.

Traditionally we would buy jewelry but he already has an expensive, necklace, watch, bracelet and ring which leaves me with nothing left to get.

does anyone else have any suggestions on what to buy a 29 year old male who has everythng, oh yeh and his single so i cant get hime and expensive dinner out because he has no one to take

my budget is $500 any suggestions would be great.

I insure through bingle.com.au, they were alot cheaper then everyone else including budget

I have never had to do a claim so i am unsure what there service is like but they are under written by AAMI so i imagine they would have pretty good and fast service

But because they are under written by AAMI they prefer drivers over 25 and seeing as you're on your L's im assuming you're younger then that, but you can insure the car in your parents name and have yourself as a second driver and they'll probably still work out cheaper then the other's

Also, I used to be insured with GIO and had to do 2 claims with them, 1 was a write off, and both times there service was fantastic, with the write off i had the insurance money less then 10 days after it was assessed which was the day after i put the claim in
so the 7950's are available for sale now starting at $549

does anybody know when nVidia will be pushing out there new series? or if there's specs sheets around for them?

Eneloops also have great life to, i use them in my pentax and get around around 600+ shots out of 1 charge and i've had them for 12 months now
I saw this guy on my window ledge yesterday, i've never seen a dragonfly so close before or not flying, i think he might of been dead but im not sure, not long after i took the pics he was no where to be seen, im just going to assume he was having a nap icon_smile.gif
