Worst idea ever. Xcom was great, why make another game for the brainless masses?

I bought a '94 BMW 318iS for that some reason. It's excellent for it's age. It only had 72,000km on the clock when I got it too. So far it has not skipped a beat.

Yeah, nothing wrong with that luke. I was expecting something outlandish the way you described it.
Re: What really ticks you off? (3 years ago)
It depends Luketheman5, if it's one of those hair cuts that belongs on a lesbian girl then you deserve the laughter. Too many guys now have fringes that cover half their face and hair that looks something like cloud from final fantasy 7. It's not cool at all.
And Shadow if you're gonna move out of home, make sure you do have home to fall back on. If your mate loses his job or whatever, you're screwed.

Re: Design a gift card - EB Games comp (3 years ago)
I would put a picture of that 'Nintendo sixty PHWOOAAAAAAAR' kid on there, he is the human spirit of gift receiving.
Re: What game are you playing? (3 years ago)
JackSlack, you need some crowd control in your party. Morigan with cone if ice just destroys those zombies. However I'm playing the game on hard with a party that has no magic users this time round. Insanely difficult and you have to make use of traps and fire bombs/poisons quite a lot just to survive the battles.
I bet you're doing the same as me though, restarting the battle if any NPCs die? I hate it when they die and start it all over again.

I don't claim to be an expert on any of it, just saying how it was for me. My condition got pretty bad, I tried to hang myself and had to spend a few days in hospital as a result. All I'm saying is that it helps to sit back and take a look at things and realise that things could be far worse.

Re: What really ticks you off? (3 years ago)
James, the depression thing IS in her head though. I had a 2 year stretch where I suffered from depression due to a combination of many factors. In the end though the thing that made me better was me ultimately deciding I wasn't going to be unhappy anymore and doing something to remedy it. If you sit about and moan and complain about everything it just gets worse.
Re: What really ticks you off? (3 years ago)
I'd be pissed at that too Kyle, you should've said something to them. Similiar situation with my dad and TAC. They didn't want to pay him because they said he was faking it that he couldn't work. Sure TAC, losing a leg in a car accident is easy to fake you stupid pricks.
Re: Funny Links (3 years ago)
Punch how you want, I don't care. Just don't act like you know. It's the wrong way to punch if your arm ends up like the counts. In fact I'm 100% prepared to let anyone here punch me in the face if they punch like the count and then let me return one in a proper fashion. True story.
Re: Funny Links (3 years ago)
Of course it looks fine to you Obsolete, you don't know what you're talking about. What the count is throwing is a straight punch, if your hand were to turn completely inwards as it did he would break something of his own. Now this isn't my gripe, I don't care for artistic accuracy so much as I care for people that have no clue what they are on about talking as if they are experts.
The picture you have posted shows a fighter throwing a hook which if thrown correctly should see the fist turning over (not inwards) as it comes around with the elbow elevated slightly above the fist. This will transfer the maximum amount of force from fist to face.
:removed comments: I can see I'm just gonna get banned if I retaliate to Tanya the troll so I'll leave it at that.
I mean don't take it from me, I don't know how to fight. I'm just a keyboard warrior who knows everything.

Re: Funny Links (3 years ago)
We can indeed, what we don't need is expert opinions that are completely wrong.

^^It's the follow through. When you punch through, the fist does tend to turn inwards.
Re: Spartacus: Blood and Sand (3 years ago)
Episode 10 was a bit of a tear jerker. The plot thickens after 11 as well, it's great to see everything as it unfolds.
It's a damn shame that Andy Whitfield (Spartacus) was diagnosed with leukemia. All the best to him and I hope he gets well soon, for all the obvious reasons and cos I want my tv show back

I'm not gonna bag you out because I game for as many hours as I can squeeze in. But I do make an effort to do some form of excercise a few days a week. If your body got to that point where you hurt yourself just sitting still then maybe you should look to yourself for some answers.
Hope it gets better at least and you can do something to remedy the problem.

Ok now I'm confused as shit, are you a girl Duckula? The PMs you sent me gave me the impression you were a guy.
Anyway, just got back from watching Hung Le and Gabrielle Rossi in their show 'The truth about Gooks and Wogs 2' - The chink and the choco.
Very funny night and I got a signed book from Hung Le, damn he is a funny man.

Watching Spartacus episode 11 tonight and a few events transpired that left me feeling very satisfied after the tradgedy in episode 10. This would have to be my favourite TV show of all time.
Ep 10 was a tear jerker, brought me very close to having a cry lol. Last time I remember having that feeling was when I watched Braveheart as a kid.
The Genius, you must live a very sheltered life if that offends you. I've seen worse on the shelf in a supermarket.

Jessara, my dad loves the look of it too, he'll probably struggle with the controls though.
Speaking of Mafia, my mum hates video games for the most part, but she sat and watched my dad play mafia. She said it was like a gangster movie

I missed out on replying, but thank god you made the right decision. Origins is leagues above Darksiders, one of my favourite games of all time

It's just like removing a tooth, I'll tie it to this door handle, you make him run.
Re: What really ticks you off? (3 years ago)
I have no sympathy at all for junkies. If you ruin your own life through bad choices and taking drugs, you're stupid. It takes a certain type of low-life to shoot up and do drugs all the time.
Re: What really ticks you off? (3 years ago)
I agree THEMAN, I'm glad the waste of oxygen died. What a piece of trash she was. It wasn't tragic at all. A filthy junkie ruined her body after clear instruction NOT TO, good riddance.
Re: What really ticks you off? (3 years ago)
Charly, in adam_91vn's defense, it was pretty piss poor what they did to him. And from my experience some EB staff (I do stress *some*) are complete useless turds.
I called up their store to see if they had stock on a game, which they did. I said cool, I'll be down in 2 minutes. I got there in 2 minutes, as I was arriving the one and only staff member was shutting the store and wandering off elsewhere. It was 10am and I'm left standing at the front waiting for them to f**king open again. 15 minutes later, captain douchebag rocks up with a coffee in his hand and doesn't say a word, just opens the store. I walk in and grab my game off the shelf, walk to the counter but before I get served, he has a chat with some mole from the store next door who happened to walk past. I called out 'You have got to be f**king kidding me, come and do your f**king job mate. I've been waiting for long enough' He gives me attitude and grudgingly does his job. If I wasn't so angry at the peasant I would've taken his name and complained about him, but I tend to lose concentration when I'm pissed off.

It's finally out! They have improved the combat system and the difficulty and pacing of the game seems to have changed quite a bit. I'm finding myself actually losing battles sometimes now. The new HDR and shading effects are quite nice too. Check out the demo at www.taleworlds.com
Re: What made you smile today? (3 years ago)
Hahaha good one crank, best movie ever. I had a weird dream last night that I remember clearly.
I bought a cat (don't know why I hate them) and for some reason it had the ability to turn into a cougar which I caught it doing a few times. I ran to my room to get the camera so I could youtube it and post on palgn but it turns out everytime I pointed a camera at the cat it shrunk to its normal size. That was it. What the hell goes on with my brain when I sleep is anyones guess. I couldn't think of crazy stories like this if I was awake yet my head conjures them up when I sleep lol.

Got some on my hands.
Touched my mouth.
Oh christ.
