So wrapped for the boys on Sunday, it wasn't just the 4 points that came out of the game. The confidence that win will give the group going forward is massive, the belief that we can match it with the very best will be invaluable. The win came at a cost, but that confidence will be enough to see us prevail over in the west and book our spot in the finals.
Re: recommend me some good anime forums (3 years ago)
I use Animesuki for my torrenting, and the community is reasonably busy from the few times I've been in there.
However ever since someone ruined the ending to Rurouni Kenshin whilst browsing through a harmless top 10 thread, I just can't trust anime forums anymore.

After a good 90 minutes of playing with firewall settings and opening ports I've finally got myself online

I'll be around tonight for some matches Jaws, although I'm pretty bad so far.

Massive news today with Karmichael Hunt (Bronco's Player) announcing that he will be making the switch from NRL to AFL, and it set to join the GC team in 2011.
http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/81596/default.aspx
I think the move will be a hugely positive one, not only for GC, but for the AFL in general. It will generate huge publicity in the areas of Australia that the AFL needs to appeal to most. If a well known AFL player changed codes I'd definitely be tuning in to see how he goes, and league followers will be no different.

I'm sad because i think i may be the only one who watches 'hajime no ippo', the second season just wrapped up. Look into it guys
I've spent the last 2 months going through Hajime no Ippo and got up to date on Monday, I enjoyed it immensely. Although hopefully we don't have to wait too long for the 3rd season. Because it's a niche anime, the next season can take years. There was an 8 year gap between seasons 1 and 2
If you loved the Rocky films, do yourself a favor and check this anime out.

Bah, I need some new anime. Does Clannad sound good?
I want a good anime with a really good storyline. I don't really care about the art, I just want to get immersed in a roller coaster of emotions.
Do you guys recommend me anything like that?

Well I guess thats a good point to start on - What are some of the more obscure animes that any of you have seen that you thought were pretty decent?
Ergo Proxy - A truly wonderful deep, brooding anime that is unique and fascinating.
Ef - A Tale of Memories Hands down the best romance anime I've ever seen. When people think romance in anime, most of you will think fun romantic comedy type shows filled with fan service. Ef - A tale of memories is none of that. Deep characters and compelling drama makes this anime a hidden gem.
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann - It's not so unique these days, but seeing only 1 person has mentioned it in this thread I feel I should give it some praise. It's near on impossible not to enjoy this anime, all those bleach/naruto watchers should definitely check this anime out.

Ahh, it's been awhile since I sat down and watched an anime with intent. So it comes with great pleasure that I am watching Eden of the East. It only just finished it's run in Japan. And I am enjoying it so. I only have two episodes left to watch, but then I still have to wait as the story doesn't actually end until the two movies come out...
I am in love with it's opening title song... which is played by Oasis, of all bands.

Browsing through this thread for the first time, It seemed all anybody watched was Naruto, Bleach, One Piece and FMA. All of which (minus FMA) are very average anime's imo. So it was nice to see someone watching a different anime of quality.
Disappointing that it came to a close so soon, but the ending was great and I can't wait till the movies come out later in the year.

No offense Wilso, but if this is the case then I believe the game is broken.
This is from another forum
'My biggest gripe with net play, is how extremely difficult it is to perform a passing shot. If my opponent is at the net and he has just sent the ball towards the middle of my baseline, then my ONLY option is to lob the ball (which a nunchuck user will still be able to reach). In real tennis there would be significant gaps on both sides of the player where you could place the passing shot, but in this game he pretty much covers everything. It would even be difficult if you could use the parts of his court that is for doubles matches.
I've made another rough sketch. If I were to hit the ball hard towards one of the red zones, it should definately be a passing shot, but in the game the ball travels so slowly that the player will easily reach it. If not under total control, then he'll reach it with a dive. '

So you guys use your own characters online?? I tried that once but I got owned by two Nadals... then again, my character is only two stars.
Admittedly, I now stick with using Sampras for most of the time...

Hopefully you're not a net rusher, they just take all the fun out of the game.

Yeah thanks for the games, they were good fun
I look forward to playing you when you develop your character a bit more.

If someone sends you a friend invite, it should appear as a red pop up at the bottom left corner of the screen, and you use the EA messenger to accept it.
Re: EA Sports Grand Slam Tennis EA Buddy List (Wii) (3 years ago)
You add a 2nd controller at the screen with P1,P2,P3,P4 and an option to play doubles will open up.
Looks like I just missed Crank and Andy tonight, I sent an invite as you guys went offline. Ah well, maybe another time.

McLegend has come up as 'OFFLINE', so the request has worked on my side.
I've had issues adding other friends before. Sometimes matches can only be initiated one way. I've played multiple matches with a friend yet he still comes up as '8?' and only he can initiate the match.
I'll be between 9-10 tonight if anyone wants a match.
