Double post, everyone. Because I'm that cool.
Re: Funny Links (1 year ago)
You really should calm down, sir.
NPC: "Well, I'd like to help you, Link, but it seems I don't have [item x]. You could try looking for it over in [area y]."
Fi: "Master, we should try looking in [area y] for [item x]. I calculate a 90% probability that having [item x] will allow us to progress the quest."

2 minutes pass. Link is, like, right next to the item.

Fi: "Master Link, my calculations indicate that this is [item x] that [NPC] was talking about. We should take this item to [NPC] quickly. Do you need assistance locating [NPC]?"

Without exaggeration, that is literally all Fi does. That, and look TERRIFYING when you learn a song.

But yes, Fi aside, the game really improves when you're on the ground. I was seriously sick of the hand-holding in the sky tutorial, it felt like hours up there. Anyway, once all that passed, I actually started enjoying the game, despite my incompetence with some of the sword controls. It's not a fantastic game, but it's definitely enjoyable, and the story from the third dungeon onwards is great.

I agree with the review about how they could/should have greatly increased the ground from the 3 main areas. I grew thoroughly sick of visiting the same places, especially when getting the 4 pieces of the song there. It's like, wow. Forest. This would be really fun if I hadn't already been here 15 times before this latest fetch quest.
So, I got Skyward Sword for Christmas, but apparently my brother got it from an Aussie seller who sells import games. Hence, I have (I believe) a UK Club Nintendo code. Is anyone willing to do a trade for an Australian Skyward Sword code?
In about 2 weeks time, expect news of an EB exclusive edition which only has the front and back cover for the same price as the Japanese version.
EB, GAME, and JB, both on their websites and in person, have no idea what the hell has happened to the Collector's Edition of Sonic Generations. A guy at JB today said that it was online-only order. Fair enough, but then when he tried to look for it on the JB website, he couldn't find it either, despite their stock program stating there was 100 available.

So, has anyone interested in the game been able to find it? Because I would sell both my kidneys to get this, and I've never bought a collector's edition of a game before.
Re: Lego (1 year ago)
Ringtone = Green Hill Zone from Sonic 1.
SMS tone = The "item get" sound from Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

I'm the freaking coolest.

It's my birthday on the 14th of July. Who wants to get me some Lego?
Re: So, Trophies (1 year ago)
I've just got to get 5 stars on all but 1 homicide case, and find all 50 film reels. After getting all the landmarks and street crimes, though, I really don't know if I can be arsed to find those bloody reels, even with a guide.

I got one of the only 2 copies that Sanity in Dubbo received. Shameful stock that store has.
There should be a poster for Tron in every suburb ever.

Zia McCabe is the keyboardist for the dandy warhols and has been pretty much a celebrity crush since my high school days.
She must be a very talented musician if she needs a crotch-level microphone.

I tried to connect last night, downloaded the latest update.. still wouldn't sing in. Is there something else I need to do to get back on PSN?
Plug in the Singstar microphones? HAHAHA
I'm tempted to buy it even though I don't intend to get a 3DS.
All hail Spellbinder. Holy freak, that show was the greatest.
Conan O'Brien Can't Stop
Trailer just released today about Conan O'Brien's tour he did after leaving the Tonight Show.
Bought LA Noire over the weekend and still haven't played it and probably can't till next week, because my girlfriend's got a ton of assignments to do and the unit we're in is tiny and thus I can't just ask her to go into the other room so I won't disturb her.

Also, people who post long sentences.

My God that performance is humanity's greatest achievement. A brilliant song just became brilliant-er.
It's actually astounding how little I care about Dick Smith and corporate ownership.

^ What standing do you suggest someone should have before making a statement about the issue then?
They probably shouldn't be someone who became fabulously rich by importing cheap electronics from overseas to sell in his stores. A bit hypocritical to run around moaning about supermarkets not buying Australian, even worse the guy has his own line of food products that are Australian... might be just a little biased.
Buy Australian food and stuff! The come to my store and buy a....VIVO TV. Yeah, it's totes legit, guys! Did you know I have my own brand of Arnott's biscuit ripoffs?
