Is Oblivion the same type of thing as Moon?

Oi Esposch, first thing you gotta do is accept your offer, that way you're certain to have a course on your belt, then wait for second round
Got into my first preference, Commerce Monash, fuck yeah 10 contact hours and relative freedom to work with film this year!

Re: Travelling in New York and Europe (1 year ago)
Ah, well it looks like I'll be going to Europe during June/July - and hence during the Peak periods.
How much are the trains between countries?

Re: Travelling in New York and Europe (1 year ago)
I'm sure they could, but I wouldn't want to be a hassle y'know
Re: Travelling in New York and Europe (1 year ago)
I've already been, wouldn't mind going for a few days to visit Hollywood/the relatives but yeah, Chicago and stuff would be sweet, but the flights would probably add up
San Fran is sweet too but my relatives up there are second cousins, would be weird
and my relatives live NEAR Anaheim, but i'd want to go to Hollywood and the city centre, so ehh

It seriously does look like the most confusing thing ever. What an inaccessible city.
Re: Travelling in New York and Europe (1 year ago)
Any idea what it was called?
I've decided I'm going to hit up LA as well, I've got relatives there and I really want to check out AMEOBA - Anyone know anything of the Public Transport there?
THanks for everything up until now guys

Re: SLR Camera Hints (1 year ago)
Thinking of getting my first DSLR and I need to use it for film as well, and I've been told that a 600D will suit my needs.
At JR Duty Free they have a 600D + 18/135mm lens for $1100~ - how does that rate?

RE: Big Lebowski
Amazing. I managed to gratify my year-long longing for Bowling after rewatching it today, so good
RE: Dr Pepper
Hit up that lolly shop near Malvern Station for the cheapest Dr Pepper - $1.20 each. Thank me later

Travelling in New York and Europe (1 year ago)
Hey guys, my mate just got into an acting academy in New York, and as such I've decided to save up and embark on a trip to New York and possibly Europe as well to visit and just travel.
This will be during November/December before Christmas to avoid the holiday peak and also the fact that we're all dead by the then anyway and I was basically hoping for tips regarding
a) Cheap/Still okay places to stay
b) Best stopover flights to go on
c) Cool places to go/eat/see
d) Other
Anything is appreciated really guys
And if anyone has been to NY or Europe before, I wanna know how much I should be expecting to pay for expenses even if I'm like going to the youth hostels and all that, realistically.
Cheers

I didn't want to make a thread for this, so here's a link to my film - I made a mockumentary about a guy who was on a Disney Channel TV Show

Re: One Questions (1 year ago)
Cheap headphones anyone?
Want to spend about $20. Want long lasting, and good quality in-ears.
At least, longer than the TDK's you get from JB or the ____ available at a BigW

Don't worry, Morgan Spurlock personally endorsed downloading his shit.

Re: Hotel in Sydney? (1 year ago)
He's playing Richard III in a play directed by Sam Mendes, massive fan of American Beauty, and I'm studying Richard in school at the moment
Re: Hotel in Sydney? (1 year ago)
I had a look at the Globe, would probably prefer something that isn't with other people, but I'm not against such cheap accomodation. Did you have any others? Items remain secure?
Re: Hotel in Sydney? (1 year ago)
Early, 9-12 Dec
2 people, two single beds
preferred location - dunno? near the city, and accessible
cost - not exactly looking for AMAZING quality, i just don't want terrible quality - something maybe worth the price i'm looking for which is around $70-120
I can get quality accomodation at $120 per/night, but if i can get less then that would be even better

Hotel in Sydney? (1 year ago)
Having found out Kevin Spacey is coming to Australia, and having had the urge to go to Sydney for the better part of two years, I'm currently looking for cheap, affordable, and not deathly accomodation near the city during December
Any suggestions would be much appreciated
(Hostels are considered, I want to make the budget as low as possible, but "as possible" does mean that i avoid seediness)

THIS IS SPINAL TAP! FUCK THATS A FILM I"VE BEEN MEANING TO WATCH FOR AGES.
Haha Best in Show! Obsolete, for my school media film I'm doing a mockumentary, and my media teachers recommended both of these, that is quite amusement

I want to watch some movies, but I'm not in a downer state-of-mind for me to be watching depressing movies, so I want the complete opposite!
Here's some stuff that I have watched and enjoyed
- Animal House
- Tommy Boy
- Accepted
- Revenge of the Nerds

What made me smile today was the realisation of the fact that rebecca black managed to make thousands of dollars by people spreading the word about how shit friday was.
Congratulations to all involved

Bowling. I have intense bowling cravings.
Anyway, I saw one of my good mates again, at his party. It was actually such a good night.
He's got a lift. (don't worry, he thinks it's excessive)

Re: The Gym/Losing Weight thread (1 year ago)
planning to get fitter and stuff.
got a fair bit of weight on the thighs, so i wanted to know the best means of losing weight in that area.
But two big issues first:
Eating:
If calorie counting, what are we looking for? Protein? Fat? How much fat daily is too much etc?
Exercising:
Is it a good idea to do weights and running in the same period of time? If so what goes first.
Core strength:
Where to start? Embarrassingly weak in this area at the moment.
