Well .... I handed in my first assessment which was on Thursday for my B of Nursing. It was on the integumentary system, cells of, and a case study to make reference to. Then I had an online quiz on Monday for one of my units. Today I completed an in class test on behavioral foundations of nursing practice (alot to do with theorists and shit)..... Although I won't get the results for afew weeks, I know I've kicked ass in them! Now to start the case study/nursing care plan due Monday and the 2 large essays due in afew weeks. Yay I'm a uni student!!

It was terrible And when the local radio station was their interviewing the patients. She was fully hating on them, giving them such a hard time *shakes head* Just makes me breathe a sigh of relief that I'm in a society that doesn't stone me to death for being gay, that I have a supportive family, that I can wear and almost do whatever I want. And that I'm not forced into getting a sex change

Watched a doco called "Transexual In Iran" .... Extremely interesting! In Iran, you aren't allowed to be gay. Religion and society says NO and you will be stoned to death, bashed, imprisoned, all of the above. Anyways you are however allowed - and ENCOURAGED - to get a sex change. Religion allows it, society allows it. So here you have gay men (some women, mostly men though) who are basically forced into getting a sex change into a woman to be a) with their gay partner, b) accepted into society, c) able to get a job. Pre Op transexuals need to get a permit from the government to be allowed to walk the streets in womens clothes. If you are stopped by the police or 'do gooders' in the community and you don't have the permit, you're in for a world of pain. However if you have the permit, you're allowed to continue on with things. Most families of the transexuals will completely disown you if you get the sex change (lucky few understand the alternative) and it can still be hard getting a job. Alot of the women end up becoming 'temporary wives' to make money - just selling off their bodies to men and cleaning their house and shit. It was really sad as the relationships between the gay men change after one of them becomes a woman, because he wants dick! So the sex change doesn't really help anything. And most of the men don't want to get the sex change, they wish they could live in a different society where they were accepted. Worth a watch.

seeing that Gamesmen in the plaza are trying to sell Donkey Kong 64 cart only for nearly $60 and Super Mario 64 cart only for nearly $50 .... One time I went to buy Pikmin from there on the GC. It was in used condition and the sticker said REFURB. I asked the manager working there if they buff their CDs. He assured me they didn't (though they were advertising they buff CDs right behind him). So I said "hmmm ok then. Does REFURB on the sticker mean refurbished?" He looked at me blankly. I repeated my question. He stuttered out with "refurb.... Well... It ummmm.... Oh god...." After about 10 mins of going back and forth with this moron, he ended up bright red, sweaty and apologizing for lying to me. The manager :/ The guy is a joke haha makes me laugh every time I go in there

Another example: I was at the plaza the other day. Saw a mum and her kids. The son looked about 11-14. Covered in piercings, only had brand name clothing on, listening to iPod. He was treating his mum like shit, she got upset and said "why are you treating me this way?!" .... Um lady, cause you're an idiot for spoiling him and you let him treat you that way?
