So I've decided to buy a new PC for some reason, and would like to get the master race's opinions on this.

Already got a mouse.

Comes in at roughtly $1700 from MSY, with a few extra fans etc. It's total overkill since I'm mostly a console gamer, but, whatever. Coz I can and all that.

Will this all fit together properly? I think it should, though it might be a tight fit for the GPU. Does anybody have any suggestions of components that might be better value for money? Any terrible pieces of kit in there that I should be avoiding?

^ Ditto. Have the exact same problem, also caused by completing Come Fly With Me, and I won't be touching the game until it's fixed. Unfortunately, after trawling the official New Vegas forums, the general concensus on the ETA of a new patch is NFI.

Seriously, did Obsidian do ANY testing at all before this game went gold? The fact that such a common game-breaking bug even exists is absolutely mind-boggling - doubly so that it STILL HASN'T BEEN PATCHED YET, even though the game has been out for weeks.

Ridiculous.

I also claimed the GST back on a laptop (worth $1700) through the TRS last year. They had no problems giving me all of it, then when I asked if I needed to declare it on the way back, was told not to bother.

Not that I could have anyway, seeing as I was in the departures terminal. But, the point was made.

The tickets were only $100 each last time - how they can they justify a $65 price rise in 3.5 years? Ridiculous.

And it's not like Korn is a much bigger support act than the last time - it was Sebastian Bach and Rose Tattoo.

Still, they put on a good show - even if, like Spence said, Axl keeps running off stage and doesn't have any sense of time. I'd gladly go again if the price was more realistic for a band that's at least 15 years past its prime.

I enjoyed it - especially the last 20 minutes, pure over the top action awesomeness - but there was way too much plot.

Seriously, who cares about Jason Statham's girlfriend? That's time that could be better spent by having Terry Crews shooting faceless army drones with his big gun.

Most airports x-ray laptops seperately in order to see if anything is hidden in them (ie explosives) - they don't actually boot them and look at files.

Don't worry about it - customs (in any country) aren't going to care. Even slightly. At all. They're generally more concerned with stopping drugs/bombs/guns than downloaded movies.

I've taken external hard drives overseas a few times in carry on (once to Canada), and they've never even blinked.
