I started again with a girl(Fallout isn't in my possesion for a while 
) and found myself only using two spells(lvl 1 Time Stop & lvl 2 Raise Dead) and putting only one star in Physical and one in Accuracy.
I'm doing it to keep my character looking nice(who the hell wants to play as some beefy-8ft-tall-blue-veined-crazy-woman?) but it's given me a nice challenge too(the game's still way too easy) so it's a win-win.

Far Cry 2 needs a fast-travel, Fable 2 has too many flaws to mention(I still love it by the way) but Fallout 3 is nigh on perfect for me. I'm also having a fair bit of fun with Saint's Row 2(don't play it too much but it's great when I don't feel like using my brain). I may get Left 4 Dead before the end of the year but really, I've still got a lot of gaming to do as it is.
The only game I can think about for next year is Resident Evil 5, it has split-screen co-op! Split-screen! That wont be leaving my Xbox for a loooong time.

I think they should abandon numbers altogether, it's just trashy.
Grand Theft Auto IV, Fable 2, Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, Gears of War 2, Saint's Row 2, Resident Evil 5, Final Fantasy XIII and so on.
You can generate enough hype without putting a number on it.
Imagine if 'The Dark Knight' was called 'Batman Begins 2: The Dark Knight.' It's the opposite of classy.
Anyway apart from the title(which I obviously love) I found the game quite enjoyable. I've only played it a little bit at a mate's house and won't be purchasing for a while(current 'must-haves' have gotten me in some bad debt!) but I think they've done really well. It is quite similar to Modern Warfare(doesn't need the '4'!) but that's what I was hoping for, and the up-close and personal style of combat brings a good change of pace.
Will be reserving proper judgement until I've thrashed co-op, multi and actually finished the campaign but so far I think they've done exactly what they need to do- take the brilliant design of Modern Warfare and spice it up a bit.

The only thing I don't really like is the Friends setup, but the old list is in the guide anyway so there's nothing to really complain about.
I really don't understand how people are having such a hard time with it, it's smooth as(bar the marketplace which I think they may have to fix up a bit).

I've already finished this bastard twice already, and while I loved it to bits they certainly fudged it up in a lot of areas.
Mainly the map, which is one of the worst(if not the worst) I have found in an open-world game recently. It boggles the mind how that got into the final copy.

Yeah the story is a let-down, especially after the brilliant intro.
Yeah I really really tried man(like 2 hours of messing with it trying). It's just not my cup of tea. The actual building of the vehicles I found was really clever and quite fun, but the actual challenges you use the vehicles in bored the hell out of me.
It was okay, but like I said before I wanted a platformer. I over-reacted in my post a bit, but I am quite dissapointed in it.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I've got the BenQ and it's loud as hell.
My old Xboxs(yep this is my third, love those red rings!) where only a little bit louder then my new one. Plus my mate just bought an Elite(last week) and it's a loud mofo aswell(if anything, it's louder than my Arcade+HDD, which is just stupid).

This would probably be my favourite FPS of this generation if there was a F*CKING GODDAMN FAST-TRAVEL!
Warp to any unlocked safe houses. Done. Hours of frustation gone, just like that.
What the frick were they thinking? Especially when it's this big.
Oh and having massive mountains that you can NEVER climb on either side of nearly every road so you can hardly ever avoid gaurd posts is the icing on the cake.
So very much fun when none of the above is happening though!

I hated it to bits. The visuals were beautiful, atmosphere was great, music was catchy but all I wanted to do was platform. How many good platformers are on 360? Who the hell wants a half-arsed shopping trolly racing game? Not being able to read any of the text doesn't help either.
Every mission I tried involved some kind of stupid vehicle building crap, all I wanted to do was run around and explore.
Good on them for trying something different I guess, but keep Banjo where he belongs I say. In a bloody platformer!

I've been using the *cough*leaked*cough* code for a little while(I've got Fallout and don't need GoW2, so no online until the 19th means nothing to me right now) and while I've only noticed a couple of seconds of loading difference, the noise factor changes everything for me.
I sit quite close to my Xbox and always had to have it up very loud(no night time gaming!) to drown out the disc drive.
It's a brand new HDMI-readynewproccessywhateverblahblah Xbox too, so I was quite shocked at how loud it was. After install it's now quiter then when it's sitting at the dashboard, which is just silly.
