Our new little additions
This is russell (11 weeks old)
He is a sheltie x Terrier and he is very much a rebel.
Likes to nip, chew hand bags and bark when he doesnt get enough attention.
Keeps us on our toes he does! But we love him.
$583 all up with food and registration.
This is Lucky. He got his name because while in sydney we found out our previous siamese fighter had died from the cold.
The day we were going to leave sydney, we decided to grab this gorgeous little fish with the last of our money.
We weren't sure if we could get back to the pet store in time to buy him. We got to the store 3 minutes before the store closed.
(The previous fish was a 6 month anniversary present)
$10 for the siamese fighting fish and xsive refuses to disclose the price for the bowl and pebbles.
His awesome brandy glass like bowl (an epic find by xsive)

Re: What made you smile today? (2 years ago)
Sent fowers to my older sister today for her birthday. It was a little risky to. I havent spoken to her in about 10-12 months.
(She doesnt agree with my current relationship.)
I just got a call from her thanking me for the flowers and we managed conversation,
with her saying she wil eventually get her head around my relationship and will come see us soon!
I cant stop smiling!

Tanya passed away this afternoon at 5:30. She is no longer in pain or suffering.
She was an amazing woman and I hope everyone can celebrate her life and the part of it that she played in yours.

Re: What really ticks you off? (2 years ago)
About 2 weeks ago I posted in the smiles thread regarding my cat having caught mouse. Due to this mouse having been a newborn, my partner and I didn't have the heart to put it outside, knowing it would be an indirect death sentence. So we decided to keep it, Wean it until it was old enough to fend for itself then let it go (like true parents)
Unfortunately today I saw my cat devour this little mousey.
He'd found the box we had the mouse in during the night and was chasing the mouse around.
As I found my cat, I picked him up to yank him away from this mouse and he ate it. Right there and then. Ah the vicious circle or life.
I was a little devastated at first, knowing I weaned the little bugger. I saw it open it eyes for the first time and what not, but sé la vie I suppose.

Today my kitten came inside the house batting something around, turns out was a new born mouse.
We didnt have the heart to put it outside so we are going to keep it. Wien it till we can let it go.

Had to give away my darling dog Jack today,
he has been to much of a nuisance to keep.
He chews anything he finds and jumps over our 6 foot fence.
The council has been around to our place a million times and fined us multiple times for having our dog out and about.
We have tried keeping him in the house but due to his breed he is an active dog and needs to be outside.
He goes nuts inside and rips up all our curtains.
I love our dog but, hes just to much to handle
Miss him already.

So my other half and I have just come back from a nice evening
with his mates and their wives/girlfriends, having a few drinks, chatting it up.
We are both a little tired, about ready to go to sleep. So we head home.
While driving, we both realise its raining.
Both of us kind of think, man we just spent,
maybe 3 or 4 hours washing, cleaning, buffing and shining up the car, only for it to rain a few hours later!
We arrive home, as Im heading into the house,
I thought to myself....
Maybe I could chamois the car quickly before going to bed, then thought, nah I will do it tomorrow morning.
My boyfriend then turns to me and says,
hey babe, would it be weird if I chamois the car quickly.
I dont want it to have water marks.
How could I not be smiling!
What a true car enthusiast.
