I've gotten all the DLC out of the way in BF3, here's hoping there is another batch coming soon.

Only achievement I found to be a little frustrating was the Elite Warrior one but I managed to get it in the end after a few tries and I actually felt relieved it was done and dusted.

DICE have done a wonderful job with this game and my only gripe is I wish there where a few more servers for us aussies.
When the missus and myself travelled thru US and Europe we pretty much did most of our bookings thru here http://www.venere.com not flogging their website, just info for you to consider... Some where crap, but most of them I say 90% of our bookings where excellent. Mind you we did travelled for 6 months, so there we're a lot of hotel bookings that we made.

Travelling thru Europe is great by train as you can relax and look out the window and don't be afraid to talk to the people on the train, they pretty much think you're awesome if you're an Aussie travelling thru their country.

Do agree with ObsoletE that a Eurail pass is good value, but generally with all things you probably could get it cheaper.

Just remember before you leave OZ to do your research on the country/countries that you're visiting so see what you're planning on doing and wanting to see otherwise when you get there you can become stuck for ideas at times.

In all, enjoy your trip and it's want you make of it that will be fun or not.
Battlefield 3 - 1000/1000GS

Great game, can't get enough of it and can't wait for the DLC when it comes out.
Dead Island & Bloodbath DLC - $0 (GAME)
Dead Island, what can I say I love playing Zombie games and 4 player co-op would be a lot of fun.

Rise of Nightmares - $50 (GAME, after having some credit)
Picked up Rises of Nightmare as a spur of the moment thing, got a few mates coming around for a BBQ this weekend and while having a drink or two I thought this would be fun for a few laughs

Star Soldier - $45 (PA)
Star Soldier, another shmup to my collection.

Australia's R18+ Rating Approved

Source: Shack News

Quote
Australia is finally getting its R18+ rating after reaching an in-principle agreement last month, with eight of the nine territories voting to approve the classification, with New South Wales Attorney-General Greg Smith being the only one to abstain from the vote, choosing to consult with his cabinet before endorsing the proposal.

Australian Minister for Justice, Brendan O'Connor has announced that Smith has now given "in-principle support" for the new 18+ rating, which means the process to introduce it to video games with adult content can now move ahead as planned. The 18+ rating will be the equivalent of a PEGI 18 rating in Europe or an ESRB 'M' rating in North America.

"I am delighted that NSW has decided to support what is not just a practical public policy, but a very popular policy," declared O'Connor. "Once introduced, the new classification will also afford adults the opportunity to view material designed for adults."

So, with the 18+ rating now moving forward, it's only a matter of time before Aussie gamers can enjoy previously banned games like Left 4 Dead and Mortal Kombat. A censored version of Left 4 Dead 2 had been released in Australia under the 15+ rating, but future titles featuring similiarly mature content will be subjected to no such concessions.
Is there anyone here that has the Japanese version of Gears 2?

If there is, co-op and horde for some fun times? icon_eek.gif

Yup, I'm a sucker for punishment with this game too.

Sorry if I posted in wrong section......
Nice list fella, I know I've completed a lot more than what you put down, happy to pm you if you like to fill it up icon_smile.gif
Red Faction: Armageddon - 1000/1000GS

I found this game to be quite entertaining but not that hard to be honest. Some of the weapons that you use in game are pretty cool and the fact that you can buy unlimited ammo cheats icon_wink.gif for what ever weapon you're carrying makes it a little easier on 'insane'...
Finally completed my first WP7 game - Fruit Ninja for 200/200GS

Don't mind these WP7 games as it makes my time traveling the trains to and from work more enjoyable, then again I do rather a good book from time to time.
Done a few games over the month, haven't really had a lot of time playing as just been busy with life.

Rogue Warrior - 1000/1000GS

Raven Squad - 1000/1000GS

Battle: Los Angeles - 200/200GS

Plays pretty well too, a lot better than the first.

Just a heads up, don't know if this has been posted or not by anyways 'The Muchi-Muchi Pork and Pink Sweets Double Pack' is more than likely to be region free based on kotaku website:

Read about it @ kotaku
What made me smile today is I just did a 5km run in 22.14 which I busted my guts out to get under 22.30 so I was surprised by my time. What makes it even sweeter is that a little under 2 years ago I snapped my achilles tendon which put me out of action for a long time.
Harm's Way 200/200GS - very easy game and good fun.

Battlefield Bad Company 2: Vietnam DLC 250/250GS - I find the Battlefield Bad Company series to be one of the best games out there and to have the extra DLC makes the game more enjoyable.

Clever little game and I too purchase this little gem.
Medal of Honor - 1000/1000GS

Finally got around to finishing this brilliant game imo.

Dead Rising 2: Case Zero 200/200GS

Ditto for me to, actually found it to be easier than DR1 to be honest, don't know it's me or the game icon_confused.gif

Killing zombies has always been fun and yeah I'm looking forward to picking it up soon too icon_cool.gif
Mafia II - 1000/1000GS

Really enjoyed playing this game, I found the storyline to be brilliant and a surprise here and there to keep you entertain until you finish. icon_y1.gif
The price rise effects members in the US, Canada, Mexico and UK for now and I would tend to think it will happen outside those countries at some point in the future.

Major nelson has a better break down of how prices have changed.

Been playing this on the X360 and I've been really enjoying the storyline and having fun playing the game.

Some of the earlier missions have surprised me as I didn't expect it to be in with this sort of game, but nevertheless it's a great game imo.

Just over halfway now up to Chapter 7 and it's been interesting to say the least, I just can't put the game down it's that good!!!
Re: Your newest purchase (2 years ago)
More SHUMPS goodness for me and my Gamecube, both from a mate who is selling up and moving back to the UK.

Chaos Field & Radilgy / Radirgy / Rajirugi both for $30 which I thought was reasonable.

Damn, I'm looking for people on the X360 version of this game.
