Don't forget that's the UK version, not sure how the DSi specific games handle region locking.

The old DS games don't have region locking, but I've heard DSi games have some sort of region locking system.

I've purchased from them before. I ordered Mortal Kombat vs. DC for $27 from them, and a $20 Nitro Racing Wheel for Xbox 360 and they've both been delivered.

I had a problem with my Racing Wheel and they sent me another one, and got me to post the old one back. I thought that was pretty nice service, but that was around 2 years ago now, so hopefully their service is still as good.

They do deliver slower than other places, like I mentioned in my post, so take that into consideration.

The kids love it too.

I guess as with the casual gaming genre, it's probably good to read game reviews first, or use a demo to find which games are shovelware.

Went down to put my deposit.

The sales dude I got probably didn't have the best knowledge in video games and the bundles, so he warned me that the deal only had the xbox and 2 games, that it was only Kinect "ready"

So I waited a bit while he talked to the manager, and the manager said that it would also be included. The confusion might be with the packs/bundles.

My understanding is that there is a Xbox 250Gb + Kinect Bundle with the 1 game. That goes for a certain price right.

And I'm sure there is another pack that is just for the 250Gb without the kinect and game, which is a lower price, which the sales staff get it mixed up with.

I'd imagine they'd have to have the sensor if you want to play the games that need the sensor?!

Quite silly not to honour it when the pictures in both bundles clearly have the sensor, and the website says the sensor is included.

I'll have to pop down to my local one to confirm it too.

Not sure how much that is altogether, but if the 360 250Gb by itself is around $350-400 and Kinect is $180-200, this price point might be good.

You could trade in your played Red Dead or Kane and Lynch 2, and get $75 trade in,


And then buy another copy of Red Dead or Kane and Lynch 2 for cheaper if you still want to play it. The last two posts above me mention both games are currently on sale for under the $75 trade in amount.

I prefer to wait until a game is cheap enough, so I get it at a cheap price, e.g. $30, and I get to keep it as well instead of trading it in.

For me I believe this is better value than spending a $30 difference only to trade it in later, and be without the game in the end.

The downside is that I have to wait until new releases come down in price, which means they're not new releases anymore.

And the current Game sale has been awesome for me!

Either way, marketing deal or not, I got a great trade in value.

I got Mario Party DS for free in a bundle, and I got more value for Okami and FF13 than for the price I bought them for.

I have a feeling they scrapped the deal because it's not on the website anymore, and it wasn't in the catalogue (I couldn't spot a catalogue in the store or on the net).

But they had a flyer pointing out:
3 = extra $10
4 = extra $20

and buy:
2 pre-owned = $10 off
3 pre-owned = $20 off

Flyer dates were May 1 to May 31

Did a trade in at GAME today, hoping to take advantage of Final Fantasy at $58 but the value changed over the course of the week :-/

So all in all:
Final Fantasy 13 Xbox 360 - $42
Okami Wii - $37
Mario Party DS - $24
Splinter Cell Double Agent Xbox 360 - $5

But the kicker is that there is a deal in May, 4 trades = extra $20!

Total $128, so the $20 extra offset the drop in FF13

There was a 50% sale at The Good Guys at Taylors Lakes, VIC.

Final Fantasy was marked at $40 for X360 (there was another box at $50)
Mass Effect 2 X360 was $50
Bioshock X360 was $40
Pokemon Heartgold for DS was $35

There were a few other ones there too.

Not sure how much longer their sale was going on for.

I can skip step 3 because there is an option later on to sign people in simultaneously.

My steps would be:

1) don't use any other controllers
2) connect infrared receiver to USB
3) turn on xbox
4) put in disc and start game
5) use the scene it remote to get to the bit where they are sitting in couches
6) then use the scene it sign in if you want to sign in 4 people at the same time. (there will be a 4 box split screen mode where you can select xbox profiles)
7) everyone clicks continue to start the game
8) listen to cheesy voice over man and answer the questions when needed
