Eh, I've all but stopped posting here since the trading forum was shut.

I still visit now and then, but it's basically just a five minute browse then off elsewhere.
MK - quite frankly - is f'ing awesome. Still.
Announcing (and now selling) large amounts of DLC before game release is a very shit trend thats become accepted by developers, publishers and gamers alike.
Gold.
Re: Battlefield 3 (1 year ago)
No CG? NO CG!!?!?!?!

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
As long as I can choose to import my games and/or buy them from where I want, I really don't mind what the local retailers sell their items for. They don't have my business as it is.
Re: Borderlands 2 (1 year ago)
Borderlands was about the most fun I had in a game in the year of its release. I played through it a number of times and thats quite rare for me.

Cannot wait for the sequel.
OH MY GOD!! TROUSERS IS THE GOLDEN KEN! TROUSERS IS UNDEFEATABLE!!!
I've heard mixed reports about it to be fair. Some say they cannot get into any games, some people can.

Drax, Gladiator and Emperor Vulcan wouldn't be so bad, no?
I **** hated Vulcan, Give me Cosmo to have a marvel counterpart to ammy I say.
icon_lol.gif Nobody likes Vulcan. I believe he's specifically created to be a dullard, wanker.

I was just kidding around with him.
Drax, Gladiator and Emperor Vulcan wouldn't be so bad, no?
Remember I mentioned Nova wayyyy back in this thread?

Did I read he was included too in this update?

*thumbs up*

wait people are pissed off that Rocket is in it?

**** THOSE PEOPLE!

He is seriously one of the best parts of the marvel comics right now.

I doubt I'll buy though if only because in 6 months we'll see super ultimate MVC 3 with 6 more characters.
Yeah, as a GotG fan Rocket Racoon makes me more than happy.
Pretty f'ing cool if you ask me.
Modok's costume is actually pretty tight and I think nothing of those trinkety things usually.
Finished Captain America: Super Soldier on the 360.

Took just over four hours I believe. Ok game, nothing more. Was probably made better for because Im a fan of the character and marvel universe and it didn't drag on too long so the same-same gameplay didn't grate on my nerves too much.
Eh the PC player base has had far less time to get up to scratch. Give it time.

Compared to the SF scene guys here in Melbourne, I'm actually considered a noob icon_redface.gif
icon_lol.gif Seriously? Jaysus.

It's a humbling feeling to realise where you truely sit in the scheme of things, considering I can't touch you and Leon icon_redface.gif
Re: Gaming Bargains V2 (1 year ago)
Might actually pick that one up. Nice find.
Yeah the guide is one of the best game guides you'll ever come across, IMO. It covers everything you'll need to know (pre-nerfs/buffs) and a bunch of stuff you probably don't.

I'll probably head back over and play it when I can actually hold my own with some of these guys on AE.

Played a couple of games with grim tonight, twas great fun and also hilarious due to the random deaths and ultras xD

I REALLY need a different pad than the 360 one though. The analogue actually makes my thumb cramp up and it's friggin' impossible to get some specials out on it. I was jumping around like a nutter trying to do stuff with Akuma, was hilarious.
I played with a 360 pad on a mates PC with some MAME a while back. I think I lasted 30 minutes before I got the cramps.

I have no idea how people can go pro with one.
Grim, you and I need to hook up. Im way below Zero and Leon. Maybe I could compete with you a little better?

(execpt for that werid start up thing).
You mean the 15-second-long "Round 1"? It's a bit quirky like that sometimes I've noticed. Even in SP or training. Never noticed it on a console.
Had a few quick games then and when you're playing someone who's PC is up to scratch or not under spec'd the games are pretty much lag free. You can really notice the improvement over what I came from originally.

It's noticeably better than the PS3 version in this respect.
Yeah Im not computer wise enough to know exactly why it worked, it just did. I remember I asked on one of those techie forums somewhere out there in internet land and that was one of the suggestions I was given....and the only thing that worked for me.

Glad you got it back up and running mate. Hopefully you'll let me beat on you in SSFIV: AE as a show of goodwill icon_razz.gif
I had this problem with my old lappy and about the only thing I found fixed it regularly, was power cycling it for about 30 minutes. As in, no battery, no power cable, no anything.

Had something to do with charges in the ports...or something. It tended to fix every USB related "device not recognised" error I ever got.
I find the online better than the PS3 version for the most part, but the problem I think with lag is the opponent computer struggling with frame rate causing SERIOUS jerk/stutter.

One of the first games I played yesterday was horrendous with the stop-start action.
Definitely is pretty buggy. The VS screen will sometimes freeze while the audio continues on, only to catch-up once the round starts.
