what an odd question. I bought a Dreamcast a few years ago because I never had a chance to own one when it came out. that was probably the only time I've bought an old console.

consider the fact that Shuma is already in the game. if Venom was in the game you could have 2 Shumas and 2 Venoms on the screen at once. the game already skips frames.

I want a mode that teaches you how to play the game properly instead of just learning some random combos. e.g. spacing, how to defend yourself. something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfgLgHCALBk (couldnt find it in english)

how do the endings work if there are 3 characters on a team, you see 3 seperate endings?

Monster Hunter was rejected because the character in that game is heavily customisable. thats the excuse I read in some article, at least.

story mode? this isnt Halo or Dragon Age. I dont expect Capcom to commission a series of books detailing the reasons behind the dog from Okami fighting She Hulk.

actually I suppose they did release a bonus comic book with preorders.

no spectator mode, seriously? whats the point in even having 8 person lobbies if you have to stare at a blank screen for 20 minutes between fights. I hope you can at least see the health bars like in MvC2 online. I thought that was a good feature.

I'm pretty sure both those comic books are the same thing.

I'll just wait and go buy it on release day.
maybe. I expect it will break down before my PS3, which doesnt have any games and only gets turned on occasionally to watch a bluray.
I lost to some of the worst players in the world today. I blame the new stick I got 2 days ago, still getting used to it. I'm gonna switch to Dan for ranked matches now that I've already lost all my points. not even joking.

even when I do connect my PS3 via ethernet I find this is the case. I heard the organiser of the Evo Online tournament saying they did it on 360 because theres less lag (although they did announce it for PS3 later).

I just hope MVC3 online copies the region based search of SSFIV.

theyre not much use to me since I dont play on PS3 anymore. I'd rather get a 360 TE instead since thats the standard and whenever I have to use someones TE I end up sucking because I'm not used to it (and usually hit the extra buttons and bust out a taunt by accident...)
so why is the update 600 MB? this is what I hate about PS3.

thats because its real wheel drive, youre not supposed to accelerate out of a spin. and I thought soft tyres were supposed to give you more grip not less. I had a bit of trouble with those 2 Top Gear challenges but managed to get gold. The intermediate Nascar ones are way harder.
I guess 5 years of development isnt enough to make shadows not look like total ass
CoD3 was a pretty fun multiplayer game for griefing.

I picked up Black Ops today. I tried to play the campaign for a bit but I cant handle how stupid it is.

multiplayer is okay but spawn killing is annoying. and its lame that new players are at a disadvantage (plus for some reason the game kept putting most of the new players on a team together, wtf...and this was in mercenary mode).
is it just me or is the online really bad on PS3 compared to 360 (yes I am using a wired connection for both)

I cringe when its called downloadable content even though the content is already on the game disc.
according to lensoftruth.com the load times are actually slightly better on PS3.

and I dont know why you'd be playing Americans and Canadians. the regional search is a godsend.
I thought I read an interview where Seth said it would be region locked but apparently not. Play-Asia shows the US and Asia versions are compabible with PAL. this was just updated since yesterday.

its cool that this is getting an English release but I probably wont bother with it because IMO the story and characters in the Disgaea games are pretty weak. I skip the cutscenes apart from the ones at the start/end of chapters.
