Is that the one hosted by Ken Lobb? If so, I was given one when I preordered my N64 from Myer around a week or two before it was released. I didn't have to send an order form anywhere, it was just given to me on the spot.

Ah, it was so amazing at the time. I remember there was a small snippet of Goldeneye on there and my brothers and I were saying "it looks real!!!"

Hehe, here it is on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LbitShSublI.

3D isn't just alternating frame positions.
What is it?
It's displaying two slightly offset frames to the player, simultaneously, one for each eye. Current solutions using polarising in various ways to achieve the effect. Since our eyes are not polarised we need glasses to view the current implementations of 3D technology.
Sorry, my question was a little cryptic, I must have been in a hurry. The implementation of 3D on the current crop of TVs is just alternating frame positions. They supply shutter glasses that blank out each eye at the right time so the correct images only get to the correct eye.

I thought you were suggesting that you knew something about why 3D is hard to achieve on PS3. Surely it's just a matter of flicking between two camera angles? Does this cause a problem due to the architecture of the PS3? I don't have any idea but am interested if anyone has a link explaining the difficulties.

Anyway I highly doubt GT5 will be 3D. If Sony can get a blistering simple game like WipeOutHD to run at 60 fps in 3D Polyphony have no hope.
Do you mean "can't get a blistering simple game... etc."?
What time do new games normally turn up on XBLA?

Anyone know who's doing the music? If I recall correctly Morricone did the score for the original... were they able to bring him back?
I'm pretty sure they just used some of his (and others) music from spaghetti westerns, rather than him specifically writing music for the game.

Edit: oops, sorry, IMDB actually says "Original Music by Ennio Morricone". You learn something new every day! IMDB doesn't have any info on the music for the new game.

Dolby DTS surround sound
Um, OK, so which one is it? Dolby or DTS?
