Yeah the first wasn't censored because their was nothing that needed censoring. The media just blew it out of proportion when it was actually less explicit than something you'd see on day time tv.

I've played alot of games (200+ and counting) and I gotta say U2 is one of the best experiences I've ever had in single player, the set pieces alone make every other game look like a joke.

I don't understand how they managed to pull this off in only 18 months, in boggles the mind.
Yup mine fronze on a later part of the game too, thank god for auto saves, I had been playing for at least 4 hours straight.

I'm sure ND will release a patch soon enough.
Should be noted a retail version of Wipeout HD/Fury is also releasing tomorrow only at JB. Its also cheaper than if you buy the psn store versions.

Cant wait to pick it up with U2 and Brutal Legend.

Brilliantly written article guys, mirrors my own thoughts/opinions of the issue exactly.

I for one believe that one day the system will be overhauled to include an R rating and this whole issue will finally go away and our country will at last be up to date with the rest of the developed world.

I just hope it happens sooner rather than later, I really don't want to spend several more years putting up with this illogical nonsense and having to defend my country from laughing Americans who by the way think we the gamers are just as 'backwards' thinking as the politicians who are actually responsible for all this.

Australia as far as gaming in general is concerned wont ever be truly respected until like other nations our country realizes how culturally and socially significant games have become and how much more they will be in the future. The lack of an R rating says the complete opposite, it implies we are a nation of violent idiots and bad parents incapable of making decisions for ourselves.
My no. 1 must have this year, looooove the series.

Played Drakes Fortune 4 times myself, spent 2 weeks in the beta for U2.
This and RnC Crack in Time are going to be the best ps3 games out until the mighty GoW3 shows up imo.

I hope this generation lasts as long as possible, that way developers will be able to focus more on new and different gameplay and better stories instead of graphics, graphics and more graphics.

As for the motion controllers, I couldn't care less about all three of them. Their is nothing wrong with the old controllers, developers just need to find better ways of using them and perhaps new ways of teaching non gamers -how- to use them.
I don't see how those 16 people thought dow1 was better.
I'd really like to know why they think its better, god knows I cant think of a single thing I preferred in dow1. For the record I bought and played dow, winter assault, dark crusade and soulstorm the day they all launched and continued to play them up until dow2s release.

Me thinks those 16 people are just qqing because their ancient pcs cant run dow2 well enough or that they're preferred race didn't make the cut in the initial launch game. Best rts I've played since starcraft hands down.
Dawn of War 2 hands down, everything about it is better than the original. I haven't had this much fun with an rts since Starcraft.

His new partner reminds me of Ashlin from jak n daxter. The first Uncharted is my second fav ps3 title so I cant wait for this, Naughtydog kick so much ass.

Oh man is this year going to RAWK! Where's Fear 2 though palgn? Should be on this list imo.
I just started playing wow again a few days ago, I now have a 72 warrior, 70 pali, 64 shaman and 61 death knight.
So much leveling to do -_-. Most of my guildies are already 80 and raiding naxx weekly.
Lich King is sooo much better than bc ever was. I wish there wasn't so many death knights running around though icon_razz.gif
By far the best rpg I've ever played, I bought the pc version. Cant wait for me2. Hope the ps3 fanboys don't pull another 'bioshock' and start complaining about how the game is old and outdated when they get it. Just like bioshock its a must have no matter what platforms you own imo. And hey maybe the ps3 version wont lag as much as the 360 version. icon_biggrin.gif
I'm a naturally creative person so when a game has said features I usually enjoy them. Though I do agree that such features can get irritating if they are forced onto you constantly.
I didn't really like the first, thought it was way over hyped. The sequel seems no different. I grow tired of this 'big man in armor with guns' trend. Hell I'm sick and tired of the stagnant shooter genre altogether.

I'm sure I'll pick up gears 2 some time next year though or whenever I run out of other more interesting(to me personally) games to play.
Downloading my copy tonight along with my preorder for left 4 dead that lets me get in on the demo early icon_biggrin.gif I love steam.

People should pick up red alert 3 if they can, I bought it online last week and have been having a blast on my new pc. Don't expect it to be dramatically different to previous cnc games though as it isn't icon_razz.gif

How can people STILL be buying wow and bc?
I was in beta for a few days myself, convinced me to want to buy the game finally. Its very awesome indeed. My friends and I will be jumping back in beta this weekend. Cant wait to make our guild when it finally goes live in 3 weeks.
Wasting life to farm for epics ftw.
